Unfortunately still dealing with issues with these vendors following a water loss at our home. After months of no communication (mail, calls email) and thinking this water loss is finally behind us we received a lawyer letter today stating Superior Abatement is pushing for a lien against our home. Apparently the insurance never paid a $2,150.00 bill and since we were unaware we are now left to suffer. Be very careful using this company and ensure you understand the process should a business such as this attempt to lien your property. The issue is this company is attempting to charge for hours not supported via their documentation . Our insurance company has requested information from superior and they have failed to respond. In a nutshell, the bill appears inflated by stating the excessive hours are required per EPA but this company is unable to prove their stance. Hint to Superior, if the insurance company isn't paying based on the info you provided then loop in the homeowner with a call or email before engaging the attorney to create an action that is filled with fear and alarm. Update: July 28th just had a call with Tyler who was nice on the call but asked when we hold be making the payment. We attempted to take care of this twice yesterday and were told we can only deal with your attorney. Now we are stuck waiting for the payment to reach the law office for processing. Upon returning to my house to get my mail (I had been displaced for several days), I saw that all of the kitchen cabinets were sitting haphazardly in my backyard, and one of my large cactus plants was broken due to their carelessness. 0 STARS!!!! THE WERE UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, NOT HELPFUL AND DID A HALF JOB DONE!!! We kept asking them to come back to finish job. But keep claiming they did everything they were supposed to do. A guy showed up without the company notifying us one day. The guy looked like he was an ex-gangster. Looked very unprofessional. He did a horrible job covering the area he was working in. He left out all the tools he needed outside the "covered area". Kept sticking half his body out to get his tools. So wall dust full of asbestos he was cutting into, was flying all over the house. When he finished "working", he didn't even clean the area up. On top of that he left us with a half cut up wall in the kitchen. Didn't even bother to cover it up with anything. The wall was completely exposed. There was dust all over the floor that I had to clean up myself. So since we said we wouldn't pay for a job half done. That they needed to come back and finish. They decided to serve us twice. for court. First time they didn't show up. Second time we got a judgment by the court because my husband was not able to show up due to being in the hospital, although we notified the company of it.
