I have been coming to this Supercuts location for a couple of years now, and the staff member that I have come to know is Jo. She is so nice, professional and always cuts my hair the way I want. Being a creature of habit, my requests have not changed, and she always does such an excellent job, I don't even have to tell her how I want it done. I always leave feeling refreshed and knowing that I will be very pleased with the results. Jo is an outstanding stylist and such a nice person, it's always a very pleasant experience. Worst location so far. They didn't even cut my sideburns even! The back was half square and the other half was round? Seriously. I don't even know how that can happen unless you're cross eyed and even then .... 95% of my hair cuts and my kids hair cuts are trash here. Today was last straw with this bazar cut I got. Anyone off the street could have done better. Quality control is trash at most but especially the Visalia Mooney location. Canceled my 3 monthly plans. Going to check out great clips. I've been to this location three times. The first time I walked in and an employee said "what do you want" in a rather rude tone. I said "nothing, thank you" and walked out. The second time I walked in and was asked if I had an appointment. When I said that I did not the employee (a different one) sighed loudly and said she would cut my hair. Keep in mind the store was empty on the first two visits. On my third visit I walked in and there were two people waiting in the lobby, the employee asked me if I had an appointment and when I said that I did not she said they weren't accepting walk-ins and refused me service. I would check in, but the app isn't fully connected to their store and tells me that information about wait times is not available. read more

Usually this place is really good when we meet with Liz for my sons haircut. Today was the exception. APPARENTLY PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARE A PROBLEM FOR A BROAD NAMED ESPI. My son has a sensory issue and a sensitivity issue so I let Espi know. First of all as soon as we walked in she had seemed like she was having a rough day even tho it was completely empty and we were the only ones that walked in there. Maybe we interrupted her quiet time, idk. She asks how my son wants his hair and he hesitates cuz he doesn't know her and so he says they have the notes. She starts to cut his hair and I can already tell by the way she's digging the clippers into his head he's going to tell her to stop. So he does and he tells her OW. I let her know he has a sensitivity issue and she doesn't even acknowledge what I say but tells him " you're fine!" He keeps telling her ow and how Liz ( one of the awesome girls that works there and has cut his hair before) goes slowly and blows his hair off him cuz it itches. By now she's looking very annoyed with my son and is being extremely rough with him. Then she asks him a question about how short he wants the top that he didn't hear so she sighs, rolls her eyes and asks me how short he wants it on top. My son is almost 18 and even though he doesn't really speak clearly, if you give him enough time to respond to a question, he will answer you. I tell her he can answer you if you ask him, he just didn't hear you. So he looks at me all nervous and I can tell he's already nervous with her so I tell her to cut it short since it will be hot. She rushed through his cut and said ok you're done. So my son says thank you and gets out of the chair and comes to me and says quietly if we can come back when Liz is there. I have never been so upset and hurt with an establishment in my life! Espi, if you don't want to "deal" with people like my son then maybe you need to pick a different career cuz girl, you are in the wrong profession and you are so lucky that my som was with me or I would have told you straight the f up how your need to fix your attitude! Believe me I will be talking to the manager and to your corporate office about what happened today. I advise everyone that is reading this to AVOID ESPI AT SUPERCUTS ON MOONEY. Go to another place and save yourself from the time and trouble of apparently being put up with for a haircut. read more

Awful. I went in for a trim yesterday and the lady cut it a good 4-5 inches shorter than I wanted but since she started in the back I had no idea until it was too late. To make it worse, the cut is choppy and uneven. My beautiful long blonde hair has been completely butchered and now is a shoulder-length mess. I told myself to give it a day to get used to it before writing a review, and needless to say I am definitely NOT used to it. It's terrible. And all I wanted was a trim before my birthday. :( I always went to the Supercuts at Akers/Walnut and have never had a problem. I will NEVER go to this one again. The damage is literally irreparable unless I want it cut even shorter to fix (spoiler: I don't want it shorter!). Guess I'll be wearing it up in a tight pony until it grows out. Just moved to Visalia, and everywhere else was charging 35-40 dollars per hair cut. The first time I went in Jo cut my hair did excellent, I was in an out in truthfully under 20 minutes. Signed up for the unlimited haircuts, second time I seen Espi who has cut my hair 3xs now. Espi is fast efficient and her customer service is beyond what I expect, and consistent with my haircuts. Very polite, and now when I book my appointment I try to get with Espi, just due to the fact I like consistency, Espi cleans her equipment which is important to me, and I enjoy her customer service, her speed, and her willingness to make sure I walk out feeling happy with my haircut. They acted annoyed that we brought in our son, this wouldve been our 2nd visit. They had several people in with no customers but we would have to wait 45 minutes because theu didnt feel comfotable cutting kids hair, we decided there are plenty of other places to spend our money and left. this Proper Cuts was a joke they call this a hairstyling and haircut place for men when I told her exactly what I wanted and how short it was she was hesitant to do as I asked when it came to the length and she had to call another hair stylist over to help her because she looked like she didn't know what she was doing like she is a brand new graduate of a beautician school I would not recommend this Proper Cuts location to anyone now I have to go somewhere else and get my hair redone because they messed up and I don't trust them read more

Drove 20 miles to get a haircut. My regular stylist was not working, but I went anyway. Went in at 11:00 a.m. and all I asked for was a regular A-line bob. There were no other customers there. The one stylist working said she didn't do A-line bobs and if I wanted to wait until 2:00 p.m. someone else would be coming into work. This stylist literally sent me away with no haircut because she didn't want to do the work. So unprofessional. Will not ever use Supercuts again. read more
