I got a hair cut here recently. I requested a simple haircut, shoulder length, and layers. The stylist was friendly but he did a poor and amateur job. Once my hair dried and settled it was obvious that the haircut was so bad. My hair was cut uneven such that one side was shorter than the other, also there was a long hair strand that was not cut on the front, and I could not see the layers. Once my hair dried and settled it was obvious that the haircut was so bad. I was so uncomfortable with it. I returned to get it fixed, the stylist who fixed it reported the cut was badly done in the back too and the layers were not cut as they were supposedto. The second stylist gave me a consult, and fixed the cut. She didn't charge me to fix it, however my hair is now shorter than desired because it had to be cut further just to level it. I have been here before and had no issues in previous visits. The stylists are usually friendly and know what they are doing. Just make sure you review the stylists. Ask for Isabella. First and foremost: I like that one can make an appointment ahead of time, if not several days in advance. Beats being turned away or waiting forever if the facility is busy. My daughter has been asking to get a decent trim and nothing drastic, so I opted for supercuts as I'm not into the fluff, glitter, and oh lala type of salon geared towards children let alone Instagram wanting salons. I know everyone goes through beauty school, and I'm not paying crazy amounts for a trim that does not include all the extras. After they acknowledged they forgot about my appt. Laughed and said sorry. Nothing special or stand out about the stylists. Alot of people walking in for cuts but seemed like you needed an appt online or the wait was 1-2hrs. The place is best suited for something super simple or basic, or if you need a quick cut. My 14 yr old and I went for cuts on a whim in Feb. Both of us have long hair and we don't get cuts very often, so we decided to get 8+ inches taken off, leaving both with long hair past our shoulders. I had mentioned to Jordyn that I have natural curl in my hair, but that I've never been able to wear it that way as it always looks awful so I use a straightener blow brush. Jordyn started cutting away and we had a great conversation. I decided at the end to just leave it wet and I'd style later. To my surprise, it dried and the wave/curl was PERFECT! I used my pick and did nothing else! Nine weeks later and I'm still enjoying a wash and go haircut! I've only used my blow brush once and truthfully, I prefer the wavy curls! I was on a business trip 2 weeks ago and got so many compliments on my hair! I even went to a Black Tie event and had simply pulled the top back into a clip. It was beautiful! I don't know if Jordyn intended for me to fall in love with my waves for the first time in my life. Looking forward to going back for a trim soon. Stylist/Manager STACIE is in need of a Serious Attitude Adjustment. I was first one in the store today and was greeted in a gruff tone by this employee. Even though I've been to her before, she asked me my name and "What do you want?" I explained that I wanted a cut and she told me to take a seat. I did. Later, when I was in the black salon chair, STACIE asked what I wanted. I told her, "the same as last time." She didn't know when that was and I suggested she look up my name on her store computer. She said something low under her breath that was muffled through her mask. I asked Stacie to repeat herself. She spoke louder and slower, enunciating each syllable of WHAT DO YOU WANT TO-DAY?" This employee made me feel stupid and that she considered me Hard of Hearing. I got up, yanked off the Supercuts black cape, and split. My advice? Avoid STACIE at all costs. read more

Today I had Kaylynn, she was great. Nice and quality shampoo and cut. This review is about what I experienced while getting my shampoo and cut. Next to me was an elderly woman getting her hair shampooed and then blown dry by Helen. Helen was so rude. She was talking to the host in front of the customer about how she didn't want to take her. Helen accused the hostess of lying about the elderly women requesting her and also accused the elderly women of being confused if she had requested her. It was so uncomfortable to be around and equally made her colleagues visibly uncomfortable. Helen didn't stop there. She was obviously annoyed and lacked patience for this customer. When she went to move the customers walker she would not place it in a new spot but rather slam it. She also slammed product on the counter. When the customer asked her what her problem was she accused the customer of not appreciating them. My hairdresser stated this happens every Saturday. Why a employer would keep a women like this is beside me. It was the most uncomfortable haircut I have ever had. When the elderly women's husband came back Helen started back peddling and told the customer she had to slam the bottle of product on the counter because it's thick and running out, okay so what about that poor women's walker and saying you didn't want to take her in front of her? I told her husband what happened while he was gone. Elder abuse is not okay. Treating people who may not be able to speak up for themselves in the same capacity as others is just wrong. I hope the owner or manager sees this and thinks long and hard about the women they have employed that treats anyone like this. You guys know how strenuous it is to find a new hair lady after finding out your usual hair lady moved far away. This was me this week. I have a coworker who recently got a hair cut from here by Jaime and I loved how her layers came out! So I decided to take a step of faith and let Jaime cut my hair. And boy, I wasn't disappointed!! I love this Supercuts! Everyone is very friendly, and they make sure their clients are happy! Ernie always does a fantastic job cutting my hair, and I enjoy our visits too! He always makes sure I'm happy with my cut before I go. I really appreciate his attention to detail too. Over half of my head is shaved, and I've Never had to clean up after him. Other places I tried I always found hair they missed with the clippers, and I hate that! He checks my whole head and goes over it thoroughly to make sure he doesn't miss anything. Ernie also does a great job fading it, and he makes my neck and sideburns look good, but not manly, which I appreciate because I'm not a man. He also does a great job with my longer hair, which is fine, slippery, and a pain to deal with! I love my A-line! Go see Ernie! He's highly skilled and a great guy! read more

First, let me address the negative reviews. Supercuts is an al-a -carte hair salon that offers great value for the basics but if you want more, it will cost you more. Easy to read pricing lists are right next to the reception desk. Read it first before you complain about being charged for every little service. As far as "appointments" go, supercuts offers reservations, not appointments. As such it works much like a restaurant. Sometimes they can take your right away and sometimes you may have to wait a few minutes. Either way, your reservation holds your place in line so you will get serviced as soon as possible. Now on to my review of the Bressi Ranch location: I have been reluctant to review "my little secret" on yelp. I am afraid if word gets out how awesome this place is that I won't be able to get in to get my hair done. I am super picky about who cuts and colors my hair. When my beloved stylist at another salon went out for hip replacement surgery I knew I would have to start the search again. While waiting for my son to get his hair cut I was watching the salon manager (I'm not giving you her name...she's MINE and you'll just have to figure it out yourself) complete a haircut on another client. She was so meticulous in her finishing the style and making sure that every hair was perfect that I thought hmmm.....could it be this easy. I made a "reservation" the next day and what I received is the best haircut I have ever had. I was thrilled. I never considered having my color done at a place like supercuts, but I thought I'd ask. After a bit of discussion I decided to go ahead and try highlights with her. My hair is difficult to highlight as it always comes out brassy. When my color was finished I was amazed. It is the most beautiful subtle golden blond and people always think it is my natural color. Since my initial "experiment" a couple of years ago I have been coming to this Supercuts and seeing my amazing stylist. I hope she never leaves because those are going to be some big boots to fill. Ditch your preconceptions of Supercuts and give them a chance. Oh, they also do a great blow out. Why spend $40 at a blow out bar when you can walk in to Supercuts and get the same service for much much less. read more

I've been to a lot of Supercuts in my day, and I usually just stop in to whatever location is the closest whenever I feel like I'm getting a little shaggy and get tired of my hair hitting the back of my neck. However, lately I find myself coming back to the Bressi Ranch location because I've always received great service and always get a great haircut. The stylists are all very knowledgeable and speak passionately about what goes into your hair. As a dude I'd rather devot my time to more manly activities such as drinking beer or eating bacon rather than thinking about what shampoo I need to use. WORST location/experience ever! I called the shop at 3:40 and asked for the wait time. The Chinese lady stated she would be available at 4:30 so I book an appointment for 5:10. I am sitting in my car from 4:45ish until 5:06 I walk into the shop and I see two other men waiting. One has An appointment at 5 and the other no appointment at all. I am told 10 minutes after my appointment time that the man with no appointment would be taken before me because he was waiting for a while. At first I accept this and walk out, I call the shop to speak to the Chinese lady again and after switching up her excuse she says booking an appointment doesn't guarantee you'll be seen right away at that time or save your spot in line. What kind of business books appointments yet they don't matter? I would love to be contacted by a manager or corporate. read more

I have been going to Super Cuts since I was a kid. I've tried pricier salons as I got older but found that it wasn't really worth it and that I just needed to find the right location to fit my needs. I feel that here, you can get a great haircut and color with out burning a hole in your wallet. This location in particular is my favorite, the staff is always really fun and friendly. I like that they don't try to persuade you into doing something you're not comfortable with, other salons I visited always tried to get me to change what I originally wanted or made me feel bad for not visiting them consistently. Here is a comfortable, easy going environment which I love. Allie (the manager) works wonders, she took my damaged hair and fixed it within a matter of months. My hair is healthier, more manageable, and I get compliments on it all the time. I know in the 90's, Super Cuts was a place you took your kids for a good haircut, and it still is, except now it's great for adults too. They really do an amazing job, regardless of your age or hair type. Don't waste your money on high price salons in the mall or some pretentious salon on coast highway.
