I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially for small businesses--I want to see them succeed. But I had a very uncomfortable experience with someone I believe was the owner or an employee. Around 1:30pm on Wednesday 04/30/25, I parked in one of their designated spots with my car on, staying inside to take a FaceTime call about a family emergency. I planned to leave in 10-15 minutes once the call ended. I understand I shouldn't have parked there, but the lot wasn't busy--there were open spots on both sides. Understandably, I would have left immediately if a customer was waiting on the spot I was taking up. A tall, blond man approached my vehicle and asked me to leave. I told him I understood and that I was just wrapping up a call and would head out. What caught me off guard was how aggressive he became. He started yelling, moved closer to my car, and said he would watch me until I left. I didn't even have a chance to roll up my window or put on my seatbelt before he began yelling again. I tried to handle it calmly, but his reaction made me feel unsafe. I take full responsibility for parking there, but the way he approached me felt unnecessary and intimidating. I hope it was just a bad day for him, but I wanted to share this experience in case others find themselves in a similar situation. read more

Found this salon by walking by. So glad they accepted walk ins. I thought it was closed but Philip came out to greet us. Michelle and Philip are so kind and funny! Service was outstanding. I loved how they offered my best friend some snacks to keep him occupied while he waited for me. Michelle did my hair and I loved my bangs and layers she nailed my inspiration photos. I'm always scared to let someone cut my hair but she made me feel at ease as she kept checking if the length she cut was okay. To top it off the styling made it look even better. She was conscientious and communicative and did an absolutely tremendous job. Five out of five cool chicks recommend getting your haircut with Amanda. She has her own website and I will date myself by telling you I could not figure out how to leave a review there. No doubt this was user error. But find her. Change your hair/change your life. I went to Lane for a balayage type of highlight. The first time I saw her she did a beautiful job, so I went back around a year later to get added highlights. I showed her photos and discussed with her specifically regarding my desired look. She horrifically messed up and damaged my hair really severely. We went back the next day to get it toned down and I was still in tears about my hair. It costed me 100+ dollars and we've asked for a refund which we were promised and it's been 4 months since the appointment and we still haven't received any refund or message back. Tesla is the best! I am so picky about my hair and usually jump from stylist to stylist because it seems no one understands how to do it, but now I LOVE my hair! She is great with color and cuts, and especially the tape-in extensions! I use them for thickness and I love them so much. Everyone at this salon is great, but Tesla's my fave. She takes the time to really listen and doesn't get "scissor-happy" and is conservative about not cutting too much. This salon is cute too, simple and clean and happy vibe. read more
