Found this little gem in the heart of Vista. I love my haircut. Thank you Jordan for the relaxing experience.

I was looking forward to visiting this salon, but never even got the chance. I scheduled an appointment for 12:00 with Jackie. On the day of the appointment, I received a text from the stylist at 10:30 asking if I can come in at 2:00 instead. It wasn't a big deal to me so I agreed. Then when I was already on my way at 1:30 I received another text from Jackie that she cancelled my appointment all together. I'm not sure why she even has appointments if she is not going to go by them, especially after her sending multiple confirmation emails for the appointments. Do not book with Jackie Cabezas. She will waste your time. read more

So happy I found this place! I made an appointment with Chelsea and she worked wonders on my hair that had previously been ruined at another salon. I described what I wanted and she knew exactly how to make it happen, they can consider me a loyal client from now on! read more

If your looking for a true artist in hair cutting, ask for Katie! She gave me the best haircut of my life. I love this salon, very cute and comfortable. read more

I would have loved to leave a review about the services I received, but I've been blown TWICE at this salon. My first experience was about two years ago, me and the stylist were messaging each other about the cut I wanted.... We scheduled an appointment, then the day before my haircut, she canceled. I recently tried to book an appointment and reached out to a different stylist. We talked about what I wanted, and saw that she had an opening that fit perfectly with my schedule BUT she just left me on read. It's sad because I really did have high hopes on getting my haircut here but now I have no interest in going to the salon at all after being blown off TWO TIMES. read more

I have to admit this was my first time getting my hair professionally done, and I'm not going anywhere else. When I was young I got my hair cut at great clips and they ruined my hair so bad I feared anyone touching my hair again, so I learned to do it myself. I needed a massive change and found this place on Yelp. I messaged and got an appointment, super simple! The atmosphere is super cute and classy, and I love the rocker vibe. I also love that they offer a mask so you don't ruin the one you came with. Regina took my fears away. She made my hair EXACTLY the way I wanted it. Color and cut she knew just what I wanted. She was fantastic and super friendly. I got the color just the way I wanted and the cut was perfect. I'm not going anywhere else. I'm so glad I found a person I trust to do my hair. Thanks so much! If you're like me and need to find someone you trust to do your hair; look no further this place is it! read more

This place is amazing everyone is so kind and so friendly. Recently came here and although it was my first visit/ I felt right at home! Everyone was wonderful and Chelsea did a fantastic job with my hair coloring and trim. I love the area too as there's other shops on Main Street to visit while there. read more

Thank you Chelsea for getting my hair wedding ready! I did full foils and a light trim and couldn't be happier. Glad she encouraged me to go fully blonde instead of my usual "lived in" look. This look is really timeless and brightens me up a lot, so happy! read more

YALL I LOVE THIS SALON You won't regret coming here, they are all amazing. Honestly this shop has gotten me through some tough times in my life. After a breakup I tried to get bangs bc you know how it is and the stylist was so kind and talked me out of it and offered another cut that didn't cost any extra. I tell everyone to come here, there's such a great and positive vibe here. I hope this shop stays for a long time. read more

honestly, really disappointed in my experience. While my hair stylist was so kind, she did not follow the reference photos at all and left me with a botched hair cut in her personal style. I now have rounded, choppy bangs with pieces of hair that cant be more than 1/2 an inch while the rest is super uneven. She gave me followed none of my instruction and completely went free rein on my hair, which is just completely unsatisfying as a paying customer. I didn't want to burst her bubble so I said it was fine and left. Hellbent for hair won't be seeing me anymore read more

Francys is the best!! I was just in for a color appointment and she did the most amazing job! I went from red to a calico inspired mix of red, white blonde, and black. It was a bit complicated but she knocked it out of the park! Prices are very reasonable and they have a great selection of fun accessories and clothing to peruse while you're there. I love the products they carry, my hair always feels and smells amazing after. The salon itself is a rad vibe of alternative and edgy, the playlist is always solid and the atmosphere is fun but chill. Definitely book with Francys for your next color appointment, she's a master at color-blocking and vivids read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! Katie was the one who cut my hair, and when I mean cut... I mean mangled. She cut it extremely short, way more than I wanted it to. When I stopped the appointment midway to tell her, she made a snide remark that I assumed was meant to be a joke, but she said she could glue it back if I was unhappy. Very unprofessional, and I will NOT be returning. read more

Katie!! You are a superstar. Thank you for my beautiful new cut. Scary taking so much hair off, but she created a comfortable atmosphere for me to voice what I wanted and was meticulous with her execution of my vision. 5 stars all the way! read more

save your money and don't go here. This must have been the worst half cut I've had in years. They are extremely amateur and have no eye for anything other than out of date basic plain styles. When I asked if they could fix it after I wasn't happy with it, they straight refused to. now I have to spend more money to get an all new haircut. worst experience eve. Don't go there. read more

By far my most favorite haircut yet. I've always wanted a shag but was too afraid but Katie S. was extremely nice and made it look awesome! I'm a very timid person but the staff were extremely friendly and patient. I will definitely be coming here consistently! read more

I don't know how to explain that I LOVE this place. The staff is all super friendly, the receptionist (kind woman) is always attentive, their response time in generally quick and provide clear communication. Reyna is literally that, a Queen. She's given me great advice based on what's best for me. I've gone with her twice and both times I leave feeling better and more confident. She showed me blow drying techniques after I told her the trouble I was having. Overall I feel like my needs were taken care of because she took the time to listen. She was also very honest about what she thought was best/doable based on the quality of my hair. She was also honest about what she could do. I know sometimes you'll show stylist an inspo pic and they end up totally missing the mark, not here. The vibe here is welcoming, friendly, and supportive. It's a bright space but can be a little cold so bring a light jacket. 10/10 I recommend. If another place messed up your hair and you're looking for a fix, this is your place :) #hellbent4ever :) read more

I cannot recommend Hellbent for Hair enough! I recently got my hair done by Cheyenne and omg I love it so much! First off the vibe in this establishment is 10/10. It's clean and all the workers are nice. I decided to get my curly hair cut with Katie after looking at her instagram. Jessica is AMAZING!!! I admit I am usually a stylists worse nightmare (in the good way) because I like to say " do whatever". I showed her my WIDE pallet range and said lets do it. Hellbent is the coolest, most professional salon I have ever been too! This salon is for everyone! I go for fantasy hair, while my mom and sister go for a natural hair color and yet we can all go to Hellbent! I usually go to Kayleigh or Regina for all my hair needs but I would trust anyone there. Everytime I have had my hair done I have had a chance to observe the amazing service and hair all the other stylist provide their clients. If my main girls were all booked up, I would not hesitate to go to any of the other stylists there. The salon and stylist do an amazing job keeping the place clean, safe, and fun. 100% recommended for all your hair needs! read more

I cannot recommend this salon enough! Everyone who works there is so warm as friendly, Regina (the owner) is so clearly invested in her business, and I have never left short of wildly thrilled. I see Allie, and she is great with color, and an even better person. I'm a nightmare when it comes to deciding what I would like to do to my hair, but she is so patient, creative, and skilled that it makes the process easy. I trust her completely, and have always loved the results! I've referred several friends to her as well, and all of them have adored her work as well. Thanks to Allie, Regina, and all the gals for creating such a cute and competent salon! read more

I recently got my hair cut by Chey! I was desperate for advice with my postpartum hair, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about so many different products (that the solon sells and doesn't sell -aka she wasn't pushy). I've been coming to Hellbent for going on two years now and have nothing but positive things to say about my stylist Allie Alberti, @mind.on.hue on Instagram. Allie is very friendly, approachable, and super sweet. She always strikes the right cord with conversation, shes up for a chat if I am, but also has dialed the conversation back on days where it's obvious I'm more tired/less talkative. She also made me very comfortable I just left an appointment and was embarrassed about my scalp picking. Allie made no fuss about it and took care around the affected areas of my scalp to keep me comfortable. And on top of all that she's amazing at her job, I always give her total control, she's asks a few clarifying questions, and I have left happy every time. As for the shop, it's always clean, they serve drinks, everyone is friendly and approachable, music is on point. So happy with the service Ive received here I drive from RB despite traffic and will continue to do so for as long as I'm in the area! read more

Shayla styled my hair and did my make-up for my son's wedding. She did an awesome job!!!! I felt super beautiful after she was done with me and I got lots of compliments at the wedding.
