My 3.5 y/o son was looking pretty shaggy after his "quarantine buzz cut" which was so many months ago I lost count. We had a bad experience at the last place we went to, so I found Dapper in a Day online and decided to give it a shot. I've been going to see Krystal for my hair for probably 5 or 6 years now. I am so lucky I found her. As a grown woman with a high school boy's preference for haircuts, it takes a master to save me from my own decisions, and Krystal turns all my ideas into something I'm actually very proud to wear on my head. I've NEVER walked out with anything less than a perfect, fun haircut. She's done everything, from color to straight razor designs to a mohawk in my hair and I have been impressed every time. She really is the best. But honestly, I care more about who she is than how good she is with hair (I mean I have spent days worth of my life with her at this point)...and she is the most genuinely kind and joyful person. This is my 2nd time seeing Krystal and the TLDR; version is that she's amazing and you should book an appointment! My first visit I booked a 'hair painting' and I was really happy with the results; my hair looked natural and the color was subtle, yet noticeable. What really surprised me was that the color lasted a really long time! It blended so naturally with my base color, that I didn't need to see Krystal for 6 months. I really pushed it in terms of getting a cut but even while I was sitting in her chair, last week, I felt that the color hadn't dulled much. Speaking of last week, my 2nd visit I wanted more of a strawberry blonde so I sent Krystal some pics and off she went hair painting + toning! The results didn't disappoint and again my hair blended really well with my base color. Hair painting can be time consuming but Krystal is purposeful and thoughtful with your cut + color; you won't leave Salvage Salon unhappy with the end results.
