Krystal is amazing!!! I had been growing my hair out for about a year with very little maintenance. I had wedding coming up and decided that I couldn't show up looking like the GEICO caveman so I did some Yelp homework and chose "Dapper in a day " and am very happy I did. Her scheduling app was very simple she even went out of her way to see me at 9:00 AM and the salon technically doesn't even open till 10. Since it was my first visit with her I was showing up as a very long haired blank canvas. She gave some recommendations and since I didn't have very many expectations I told her to do her thing. She buzzed and snipped away masterfully while we had effortless stimulating conversation. The end result was mind blowing. Krystal is awesome! Been coming here since I moved to San Diego from Portland Oregon 5 months ago. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised to find someone as good as Krystal on my first try in San Diego. She is professional, easy to talk to, and delivers a great product every time. Let me put it this way, Krystal Usher used to work about a block from my office in San Diego, she moved away to a Salon 15 minutes driving distance, it was a no brainer to follow her!!! The first time she cut my hair, I was amazed, not bc it looked absolutely fantastic, but it was exactly what I wanted. She listens, pays attention to how you want the cut to look, and even takes notes if its something unique. She cut my hair for over a year before I had to skip town to Atlanta. I've been going to barbers for the past few years, trying out different shops looking to find someone who knew what they were doing. There were some decent cuts in there, but nothing great. I started wondering if a salon cut might be a better option, but then sat back and did exactly nothing with this thought for like a year because let's face it I'm lazy and change is scary and salons are expensive and they're for ladies and my friends will judge me and I probably won't get a good cut and a thousand other reasons.
