I have been getting my hair cut and brows done for about 12 years now. For $16 they do it well. I get highlights about once a year. I used to pay over $50 for the same cut. What I also love is that they listen to me. I do not like having my hair blow dried. Just want the cut and out the door. read more

I have been going here for the last 8 months and I have finally reached my limit with giving these stylists a chance. In the past it has been a luck of the draw when it comes to who you get when you had a busy schedule like myself and can only get in for a cut when you have the minutes to spare. I arrived to the salon around 5:00 and was quickly greeted and signed in by the manager. I give this 5 stars because she was friendly and fast. She informed me that two were ahead of me. I sat down and the second stylist (a gentleman) finished his client and began to check in a fourth and fifth guest that entered. This process that only took a few seconds with the manager lasted these two individuals nearly 15-20 valuable minutes that he could have been cutting other guys hair. He greeted uncomfortably and spent way too long trying to figure out what seemed to be an easy process. After waiting over 30 minutes it was my turn and the gentleman was now the only stylist available, he ended up calling the most recent guest (guest #5 or at this point #3) to be serviced. Confused I approached and explained I was the next customer and he realized his mistake and took me to the chair. Now, I am not 10 years old and I have been getting the same hair cut for over 10 years now. I am well aware of how the process goes, what number blades and how I like it blended. I gave the individual detailed instructions and prepared for the cut. Within minutes I felt uncomfortable by his uneasiness around my hair and felt he was almost "afraid" to touch my hair. He proceeded to use the blade I instructed on the right side but failed to match the left causing the fade to start much lower leaving my hair lopsided. He then continued to trim and cut certain areas on one style while leaving others in another. The final product left me angry and anxious. Additionally, he gave me a cowlick on the one side which I haven't had in over 20 years. His response was "just throw some hair gel on it." After this and last experiences, I can no longer recommend this location and urge people to find somewhere else unless they hope to leave unhappy! read more

Worst haircut I have ever had. I asked the stylist to trim down the hair with whatever style was already on it. I was given a prison style buzz cut. 16$ for a haircut that was done in less than 3 minutes. Yes, I was counting. I've had better stylists working on my hair at those Walmart salons. Adding to all of this, through out the haircut I've been getting rude vibes from the stylist. Needless to say, never ever coming back to this business ever. read more

This was my first visit to Super-cut and probably would be my last visit. The worst hair salon I've ever visited. The staff are so careless. They cut your hair according to their wish. There are only two stylists working on a busy Friday evening and she seems to be churlish and intends to get rid of the customers as soon as she can. Isabelle cut my hair, which is short and sometimes not very cooperative She listened to what I asked for and I love how my hair turned out. I have had several people ask me who did my hair. it was the worst haircut my daughter and I ever had. If I could show pictures you will see why. I asked the stylist to fix my daughter's hair but it got worst and it was already too short. I did not see my hair because the stylist did not give me opportunity to look at the back or the side of my hair. It wasn't even busy but the stylist who cut my daughter's was very fast. I did not go back because it will just get worst. However, I pay the fee and gave a nice tips but will never ever going back to that salon or it affiliated shop. This review is strictly applicable to service at Supercuts at Quintillo Dr, Bear, DE. I have been visiting them every 6 weeks or so since I moved to Delaware in March. If you are fortunate enough to get the services of rather elderly Mr. Roberts, you are safe. If however, you land up in the hands of the young operators (perhaps trainees) please be careful and consider yourself as forewarned. I have had the same style for last 25 odd years, and usually in 6 weeks my hair grows considerably. I also insist that they use a pair of scissors. On last occasion that I visited them (Sep second week), I was informed, rather uncourteously, that Mr. Roberts was not available. The attitude of the african american youngster was absolutely appalling. Since I was in a hurry, I accepted the situation and allowed her to do the cut. I came out looking exactly like the garden after a lawn mower session! I fervently wish that I had not done so. Hair will regrow and take shape, but Supercuts will remain on a black list. I am not sure how competitive the salon market is, but this place is perhaps under an illusion that they are a monopoly.... read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a salon! The two women working there were very rude. I was there to get my son and daughter's hair cut. I had to literally walk her through cutting my son's hair. Typical boys short haircut. She acted clueless! Then we moved on to my daughter. I told her that we like the cut she currently has and just needs a trim. She washed her hair and combed it all straight back and cut 1/2 an inch off and took off the drape and said she was done. didn't even comb it again or anything. No evening things out or shaping or anything. When I questioned it the shift manager told me that she did the correct thing and that was it. I didn't know that I had to be a hair stylist to take my kids there for a haircut! I paid the full price because that is what she charged me even after I asked her to do more to the haircut. I would never recommend this place to anyone! read more
