LONG POST BUT MUST REED Absolutely Everything could improve I went in to get my tape ins removed and put back in. Shawn (I believe was his name) quickly told me that he only had time to remove them and that he could reapply them the next day and that today's appointment would be 75$ I agreed and he started on my hair about 40 minutes into the removal process my neck and head felt like it was on fire it took them 15 minutes to give me a new cape and he came over and told me that he didn't have enough time to even shampoo me or brush the tape and knots out of my hair. Mind you my heads on fire he knows this he wanted me to leave with my scalp burning finally AFTER 30 mins I start busting out crying in the middle of the hair salon and I was shampooed and brushed out after. I have never been so neglected and had such an unprofessional appointment as I did. It was Almost like the staff didn't I believe I was having a reaction to there remover or they simply didn't care cuz he was in a time crunch. Then at the end of my appointment he try's to charge me 150$ for taking out my tape ins ( with loads of residue in my hair still) and causing all my hair to fall out. Then the Lovley front desk lady (Emily I belive was her name) told me that I shouldn't have to pay for my head being on fire and loosing a bunch of hair and that the manager would call me the next day. Mario, the manager called me the next day and he was lovely that was until someone on my private Facebook went into him and showed him my complaint that all my hair fell out, then proceeded to call me the next day(today) with a very rude tone and tell me that he was (calling me out on it) well , now I guess you could say I'm calling you's out on it now! I should've been accommodated with an apology and idk maybe a hair oil to grow back my hair? I had to go cut three inches off and it still could use more. When I first started with extensions at Rispoli Brian told me that I had so much hair. I really didn't even need any now. I have the thinnest four strands of hair you ever seen. I'm entirely upset how unprofessional they were and the audacity they have to call me back two days later and try to put me in my place, I guess they've never heard of leaving a review or freedom of speech I will never go back and I'll make sure my family members don't either if I could leave 0 stars I would read more

I have a family member who is a caregiver. She brought her handicapped father in for a haircut. She was told to use back door by a staff member. She used that door before. The owner Mario yelled at her and her father in the lobby area in front of other customers. Is this the way you handicapped family and their caregivers who have been coming there for years ? Shame on you !! He treated her and her father very badly. He made her feel worthless. He said " get out of the lobby , I have other customers. What ? She are also customers !! Very poor experience. This salon is a treasure tucked away in a small shopping center, very unlikely surroundings for this level of hair care. The facility is absolutely beautiful, more Mainline than Churchmans Crossing! Professional staff treat clients well, respecting the appointment schedule but sensitive to their needs. If you are very lucky, you can get an appointment with Yamaris. She has a very well developed aesthetic sense of cut, color and style and is a sweet and considerate person as well. I tried Rispoli on the strength of a personal recommendation from someone I respect and was rewarded with finding "my" new salon. Have had good luck with a couple walk-ins here, will likely set appointments going forward. Both times I got a shampoo and trim on a short style, both times turned out nicely. It's true, it's in a weird little strip mall that's on the back side of another outdoor mall, and that's next to a different bigger outdoor mall--the whole situation is a bit bizarre--but it's fairly easy to get to, has late-ish hours for Delaware, and the staff know what they're doing. Only thing I wish was that their pricing were a little more clear, as somehow the price for a trim on a short women's haircut went down over the course of 3 weeks for me. Not complaining, as even the higher of the two prices was perfectly reasonable and the lower was a very nice surprise, but I'm not certain what to expect the next time I go. read more

I came to Salon Rispoli for the first time a few days ago and had an awesome experience! I've been looking for a good quality salon that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for a simple haircut and this place was perfect. I felt very taken care of the second I walked through the door. The receptionist team was welcoming and gave me a folder full of very helpful info about all the services they provide, as well as samples and a survey of my experience. My stylist was Brenda and I was very impressed by her. I had received a horrible haircut at great clips a few months ago so I had a challenge for her and she really took her time, and made sure that I was happy. I spent 90 mins in the chair and she didn't stop until everything was perfect. The stylists here are required to take classes to freshen up their skills, so I knew I would be getting someone who knew what they were doing. Very impressed, will definitely be back! read more
