However, after moving to Delaware almost 5 years ago, I tried a handful of different salons (even waiting to get my haircut until I was visiting Boston where I had a stylist I liked) until I finally found Tiana at Salon 926, who has been amazing. She is easy to talk to, always supportive of whatever hair-related requests I make, and offers honest advice when appropriate. She has never made me feel guilty about my total neglect of my hair (which has happened at other salons). As an added bonus, she always offers to curl my hair at the end, making me feel even more glam. The salon itself is clean and staff is courteous. There's a cute selection of jewelry and accessories for sale that you can browse while you wait. Making an appointment is easy --- you can request times you want online, and they'll confirm with you via email or phone. This time, despite a relatively restrictive schedule, they were able to find me an evening appointment with my preferred stylist within 1 week of my request. Prices have always been reasonable as well. Definitely planning to return on a regular basis and would highly recommend Salon 926 and Tiana to all!

I did some research online and asked around and felt really unsure about choosing any of them until I was referred to Teresa at Shift by my makeup artist, Tonia Patterson of Ooh La La. I was very nervous when I showed up for my first hair trial and Teresa put me right at ease. She is easy going yet professional and worked off a picture that I had selected of a hairstyle I picked off of Pinterest. Teresa never made me feel rushed or pressured and when all was said and done, I absolutely LOVED my hair on my wedding day! I did have two hair trials (because I am picky yet indecisive at the same time lol) and we still made some small tweaks and added a hair piece at the last minute but Teresa never made me feel like I was being a pain (though I'm sure I was). This is a huge salon with their own boutique and spa services. I booked an appointment online, which was very easy. I was kind of wary of a deposit being taken at the time of an appointment, but it wasn't a big deal. The stylist who cut my hair was very professional, personable, and did a great job!
