I needed to try a new salon in my area. This one has apparently been in business for over 20 years and several of the employees have been there since the beginning which tells me a lot about the shop owner! This is a huge salon with their own boutique and spa services. I booked an appointment online, which was very easy. I was kind of wary of a deposit being taken at the time of an appointment, but it wasn't a big deal. The stylist who cut my hair was very professional, personable, and did a great job! I got a keratin treatment a month ago. The keratin complex is supposed to last almost 4 months! I asked the girl if it was the correct one she was doing for my hair and she said it was. After 3 weeks, my hair is completely frizzy!!! This cost was $365.00 and I have never been more disappointed! I've been getting keratins for 15 years and they always last about 3 1/2 months in my hair. This is the first time I used Trilogy and I Will never be going back! DO NOT GET A KERATIN AT THIS SALON!! I had an expensive gift certificate purchased at a fundraiser I did not realize had expired just one month prior. I had delayed use because of a big surgery and was nervous about a massage, etc. The salaon will not honor or give any services towards the certificate, and I wanted to add several (paid) services to the day at the spa. Had one hair cut but my hair was a real mess to begin with. I had an enormous knot and tangle that I cut out myself which turned out to be a very bad idea. He did his best to send me home looking as "great" as possible but it was a difficult taks. I'm older so I don't think he was that interested in the final results. He never asked what I wanted and just proceeded to blow out my hair without first applying any product. There was no fluff or lift. There wasn't any wave or curl. It was just flat and ordinary. I was very disappointed particularly since he charged $75 for a poor cut and no style. I was too tired to point out how flat my hair looked. I just paid my bill and left NO tip. I haven't been back since the place is over priced. Instead I went to the beauty school. The student gave me a great shampoo and had the instructor by her side the entire time. I got a great layered cut, that hid the cutout area where the huge knot had been, and a decent blow dry. I was very happy. And all for $15!! The place is the bomb!! read more

And she has counseled me with my hair color whenever I ask for something different and she doesn't scold me when I sometimes touch up my grey at home or Trim my bangs. This was the best experience I've ever had. I've been doing my own hair since I was 15 years old & now I'm in my 50s. It's obvious to say I've never trusted anyone to do my hair which is why I always did my own. My wife gets her hair done with Jeremy and she always comes home feeling & looking amazing . Absolutely horrible place! Misguided treatment and not worth it at all. They will avoid you when you call them and absolutely rude when confronted about the failed treatment. I do not recommend this place at all. They are super sweet before you pay them but once they get the money they won't even greet you. My keratin treatment was a disaster...... Sharon and Heidi have both done my nails , I have been a regular since the salon opened The bridezilla attitude is rude. The comment about 2 old ladies is not Appropriate . If you needed a cheese plate I would have had lunch first , Trilogy has complimentary coffee , tea , filtered juice water , and cookies for there guest . The old and disheveled comments are insulting on a personal level , Sharon has always been more than willing to do what is asked but one of her faults is that she is not a mind reader . It is a coward who sits in front of a computer and bashes a business when they have never complained directly to the business . If you value time, money, or looking good, this is not the place for you. Needed to get a gel manicure. I have tried a lot of different places in various states and figured I would give this one a shot. Gel is a bit more expensive and time consuming, but worth it because it lasts for about two weeks without chipping. The only reason it doesn't last longer is because my nails grow so fast. Despite making an appointment and the place being empty, I had to wait over 20 minutes before I was seen. Then my gel chipped about 24 hours later. The problem with a chip is not only that it doesn't look good, but it snags on things and worsens. When I went back to get it fixed, I made an appointment again. I waited for over 10 minutes before I checked in to see how much longer. I was told it would be 5-10 more. I had tickets and could not wait a total of 15-20 mins to start my appointment but even if I could, I don't appreciate my time being wasted. Time is money and we are all busy. The entire second trip there and back was wasted, just to have nails that don't look good. I believe the standard gel fee is $38 and I tipped $10. Basically a waste of $50. read more

I'd been trying to find a good place in Delaware for a Brazilian for months. They are def the best place in the state. Nothing but exceptional service. They are CLEAN, reliable and the staff is great. I also had an appointment to get my hair done with them this past weekend and it was AMAZING. Jessica paid attention to what I said, cut the hair they way I asked for it and made suggestions for a few treatments I'm looking to have in the future. I have been going to Trilogy for several years now for my pedicure services. The technicians are wonderful (Chrissy, Tiffany, and Oman - sorry...I'm sure I misspelled your name!). They are all super sweet and do a great job. I have terrible feet and they are very sweet and very thorough in their service. The spa is a nice, tranquil place to spend a few moments to myself. Thank you ladies for providing a quiet, restful, and inviting environment for my few rare moments of pampering!! I was lucky enough to get Brenna as my colorist & stylist. Brenna is AMAZING. She immediately made me feel comfortable, really talked me through & asked a lot of different questions in order to really understand what I was looking for. As I walk in I couldn't get an appointment same day but I was so impressed with the salon upon walking in that I made an appointment for the next day. The salon owner consulted with me to make sure they could do what I wanted prior to me booking. Iman was my nail tech, and she was fabulous! Professional, fussy, meticulous and a joy to talk to. The front desk was polite, made me fill out a form (as it was my first time there), and I waited a few minutes before my masseuse came out to greet me. The atmosphere, while busy on a Saturday, was soft, quiet, and friendly. There was a gentle buzz around the place with low talking - it was nice. The room itself was located near the back, more quiet, with a nice lowly lit ambiance. It was very meditative - the music, for me, wasn't cheesy relaxation music - I actually really enjoyed it. The smell was vaguely vanilla, nothing overpowering, especially the oil my masseuse used. I got 60 minutes of a rubdown - could've easily gone 90 - and in the middle of it all, I remembered how much I liked my neck and back touched. Bobbi is the best at Brazilians...will never go to anyone else. Having a Brazilian is very personal and I have had some not-so-great experiences but, not with Bobbi. She has a way of making you feel comfortable right away and she does a very thorough job while chatting the entire time. She has also done my daughters arm pits and eyebrows and we were very satisfied with both. The salon is very nice and the waiting area comfortable. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes and scheduling with them has been easy, as well. Highly recommend. read more

Went here a few months ago and had prom hair and makeup done by Lee. She was very nice but unfortunately did a very poor job at my hair and makeup. I brought in a picture of the hair style I wanted, my hair ended up looking nothing like the picture. My make up was terrible, it was very clumpy and uneven and my face was much darker than my body and slightly orange. I actually left the salon feeling very upset and unsatisfied, holding back tears. I am a hair style fanatic and very picky about how my hair is cut. Being new to the area and not wanting to drive to Baltimore or Philly unless I had a great recommendation, I happened by this store while running errands and decided to make an appointment. I told the receptionist I tend towards choppy shorter bobs, and she said Liz would be good stylist for me. The day of my appointment on a Saturday I arrived a little early and was a bit nervous to see only older people in the waiting area of the salon. When Liz came out I was relieved to see she was younger, and started to discuss what I do and don't like in haircuts. I definitely felt like she spent the time getting to know my concerns and how much time I do (or in my case don't) want to put into maintenance. The cut was a little off but she corrected it promptly, and I have received many compliments on how cute it is. The price is similar to any spa/salon, they carry a good variety of brands of hair products, and getting in to an appointment seems to be fairly quick. read more

my 10 year old daughter went to this salon last weekend to get her hair done for my brothers wedding. being a hairstylist myself I was at the brides mothers house doing the entire bridal parties hair. my mom and sisters and daughter went to this salon to get their hair done, since I was tied up myself with 8 girls in the bridal party. the stylist who was doing my daughters hair at this salon AGGRESSIVELY brushed my daughters long blonde hair SO HARD the the entire top layers of her almost waist length hair is ripped and broken now sticking out and fuzzy about 7 inches long. my daughter came back and told me they hurt and ripped her hair so hard with the brush. and we're even rude to her saying ugh is your hair ALWAYS this knotty. I being a stylist myself in the industry understands and knows that you CANNOT aggressively tear through hair roughly to get tangles out because this will most definatly rip hair apart. over the ten years of being a hairstylist myself I have worked alongside some of the biggest icons in the industry including Oribe Canales (Oribe haircare) Michael O'Rourke (Sexy Hair) Beth Minardi (colorist guru) Phillip Wilson (color proof), Brig van ostin (shear genius season 3 winner) and numerous backstage shows in Los Angeles & New York fashion week.... & I can attest the NO STYLIST IN YHEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD EVER BRUSH SOMEONES HAIR IN THIS AGGRESSIVE MANNER as to rip and break their hair like they did to my daughters. I understand the little kids hair can be aggrivating and annoying because of tangles but the comes with the territory. HAVE PATIENCE AND DO IT RIGHT OR DONT DO IT AT ALL. perhaps if the management or owner had given me the simple curtesy of returning my numerous phone calls asking to speak with them then I might not be writing this review right now. but three days and two phone calls later and still no reply from anyone I've come to my last resort to publish this review. shame on the manager the owner for not returning a call and the rude receptionist who told me hairstyles can't break people's hair. word of advice for anyone thinking of going to this salon... be very mindful and make sure your stylist isn't aggravated the day you go lest you may walk out with their aggression showing in your broken hair. -david mccarthy read more

Very nice salon. Complimentary cookies, wine, juice, water, etc. I got my hair highlighted here and the first time was decent but they only gave me a partial highlight. Then I came back for the full and they did it right but I was charged again. The prices are a little on the expensive side but the service is good! I love how my hair came out but it is kinda pricey. I went to Trilogy based off of great yelp reviews. I will never step foot into this salon again. I got a basic gel mani and pedi for an event that I needed to attend. First, they charged me more than I was quoted over the phone when I made my appointment, nearly $100 for just the polish, no tips or specials or anything. My technician made small chit chat, but hardly made any eye contact with me, even when I handed her a tip. I was uncomfortable throughout the entire process. My mani lasted all of 36hours. It held up Saturday evening for my event, all of Sunday, but come Monday, my nails looked like that of a middle school girl. I had to sit through work meetings, shake hands with executives, and present with chipped up polish. I was so embarrassed and so mad that I paid so much money for a mani that didn't even last 2 full days. I don't have the time to go back to the salon on day 3 of a new mani and pay for touchups because I'm busy with work. Like I said, I will NOT be returning to this salon. Nothing about it was worth my money, time, or embarrassment. read more

I'm very dissatisfied with my experience at Trilogy. I had a full foil done and wasn't happy with it. I've had this service done several times at other salons and know what the result was with my hair. The top portion of my hair is lighter than the bottom is and there are "splotches" for lack of a better explanation, of darker hair where my hair parts in the middle and the very front on the sides is extremely light and breaking off. I called and complained and was told on a Monday that there wouldn't be a manager in all day. Seemed odd but one called me back on Tuesday and offered to have a different stylist look at it and fix it. So I went back and the stylist I had this time basically made me feel like I was crazy. She said she saw nothing wrong with my hair but offered to put some more foils in it to "fix" it. I feel like everyone was trying to help the situation but I'm very particular about my hair and at that point was just completely anxiety ridden and didn't want anyone to touch my hair. Especially when they were claiming there was nothing to fix but they were just going to put more foils in anyway and didn't address the fact that I had breakage, which I've not had getting this service done at other salons. I feel like my hair looks like a bad at home dye job and will obviously never go back to Trilogy. read more
