Self care is more important now than ever. Unfortunately, finding the right spa is not easy. I've had some BAD experiences. THANKFULLY, I found Harmony Spa. From the moment you walk in, you'll receive a warm greeting from the smiling face behind the desk. Once checked in, you'll even be asked if you'd like a glass of wine (21 and over). Then you go back for your service - in my case, a massage. I swore I would never have another male masseuse after a horrible experience I had at a resort in the Poconos. That was until I met Tyler at Harmony Spa. I have never felt so comfortable and at ease - even with female masseuse. Tyler was very attentive. I walk out every time feeling refreshed and relaxed. He also suggests at-home stretches so you don't tense up. He's the best and I highly recommend him! read more

Overall, the facility is clean, relaxing, and the staff is friendly. I visited for my birthday and booked three services: a body scrub, couples massage, and facial. One area for improvement is transparency around fees. We were not informed in advance about the 3% credit card fee. Our card was taken over the phone for the deposit without any mention of a fee, and although we received multiple text reminders prior to the appointment, none included this information. There is an ATM on-site, but it would be more helpful to notify clients ahead of time so they can plan accordingly and not also incur ATM fees. As for the services: Body Scrub: The service itself was nice, and the esthetician was great. However, I would not book it again, as there was no shower available to fully rinse off the salt afterward, which impacted the overall experience. Additionally, the service is described as "full body," but areas like the stomach and buttocks were not included, which felt incomplete. Couples Massage: My experience was just okay. My partner had a noticeably better experience--his therapist was very communicative and provided thoughtful touches like a cool eye wrap. Unfortunately, I did not receive the same level of service, despite being in the same room, which made the experience feel inconsistent. I have been a client at Harmony Spa since 2019 & became a member in December of 2022. Samantha is my muses and she is amazing. I usually get a monthly 60 minute massage. 2 months ago I had a bad sciatica flair up. Samantha suggested a 2 hour massage. I value her recommendation and the massage and stretching that she did during those 2 hours has brought me relief. I have not had a flair up since!!! I must be honest. The massage was fine, wasn't the best. But for the spa itself horrible. It was ice cold in the room. It was so cold my fingers felt like ice. You can verify that with Jennifer by masseuse. It took away the whole relaxation experience that a massage and spa day is supposed to give you. When you spend hundreds of dollars on a spa treatment you expect "excellence" not subpar conditions. Then we had to exit the room immediately afterwards which leads me to the question; why offer robes if we have to immediately put our clothes on to exit? I am used to having exceptional spa experiences and this was not one of them. For the money that was spend I was expecting treatment like I get when I go to the Ritz Carlton or Fontainebleau. What's make it worst the owner was contacted and REFUSED to refund any portion of the money that was paid which was close to $600!!! Awful customer experience and sevice!!!!! If you want subpar treatment and want to spend hundreds of dollars on it this is definitely the place. They won't get one red penny from me ever!!! I have to say that I had the most amazing facial experience at Harmony Spa! I had the pleasure of having Corrianna as my aesthetician! She was phenomenal! I loved how knowledgeable and informative she was and was able and willing to explain everything to me. She's so sweet and friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. She took her time to explain to me exactly what she was doing, as well as checking my comfort level on specific steps. Thank you Corrianna for making my experience a special one. Purchased a Groupon for microdermabrasion and had no issues scheduling my appointment. Receptionist was very nice. They ask you to come 15 mins early. I suggest 20 so you have time to complete any paperwork and ensure your appointment starts on time. I was scheduled to be with Corianna. The spa is in a large office building on the top floor. The spa is very small. They offered lots of candy and different kinds of tea. The facial itself was very relaxing and enjoyable. I understand facials should be personalized but I felt a bit pressure to add additional services ($30-40 each extra). Note: the extra services do not mean extra time added on the facial. I ended up agreeing to a chemical peel and red light therapy. I asked if it was ok to have all the procedures at once and she said its ok. She ended up forgetting to do microdermabrasion. At the front desk they said I could just deduct one of the additional services I had. I had no issues with my face days following my facial/peel and was happy with that as well. Update: I was really happy with my facial results but after reading that response from the owner I am never returning. I considered buying the monthly massage facial membership but after the owner's response never again. My review had nothing to do with the groupon it had to do with a service I paid for and did not receive. I do not care about your marketing or profiting issues with Groupon. That's not customers business. The point of the Groupon is to get new business so people can try out your services and maybe return. After weeks of considering buying your membership I'm sorry, your your response to my review makes me never want to return. Next time apologize for not performing the service that I paid for and keep whatever money that you make or don't make off of Groupon to yourself. Update: owner sent me a private message. What on earth has happened to humanity? It saddens me to see paragraphs and paragraphs of such ridiculous comments and reviews. I received an email from Harmony Spa and the discounts for the week. As I went to make an appointment, this page came up for Yelp. I started reading the reviews and was in shock due to how unprofessional and cruel some of them were. I posted my review elsewhere, months ago when I first came to this spa. I treated my neighbor for her birthday and we went on a Saturday morning. Both of us has an amazing experience and our reviews reflect more details. For now, I am just as tacky and drama driven to be posting a message like this since I cannot understand why people are so heartless? I pray for these people and hope they find peace within themselves. My apologies to Harmony Spa for speaking out. Originally, I was trying to be nice but seeing how the owner wants to continue to debate facts or defend something that wasn't attacked as I simply stated facts this rating has progressively gone down as my experience has continue to deteriorate. The things she reply to my review (on her edit) are just downright incorrect/lies/non-truths. I feel bad the technicians will lose business because of the business practices of the owner. My experience AFTER the visit during the back & forth from my honest review has been terrible & now instead of leaving an honest & nice review I will actively make sure nobody I know ever goes to this spa & I will be sure to spread the word to others as well. Never in a million years, as a business owner myself, would I treat a customer the way she has treated not only me but other who have left less than a shining review for her biz. That should tell you everything you need to know about this business. End of story. Don't waste your time. I've wasted enough of mine. Original review: The technicians seemed somewhat knowledgeable however, the atmosphere of the waiting room and the treatment room were less than desirable. A little TLC could make a huge difference. Paying spa prices I want the whole spa experience & that just isn't offered here. We won't be going back. First response: This is in response to the owners reply to this review. I'm not talking about nuts, berries & flavored water. That would most likely only make the waiting area even more cluttered. There is an ATM machine as you only accept cash for tips (something that should be revealed ahead of time on the phone vs waiting for the client to show up then having to use the ATM. The room is also heavily cluttered with other 'crap/junk' for instance there are big CBD signs stating it's sold here, jewelry is sold there & shoved in a corner (looks junky), Buddha's everywhere (I mean everywhere; too many). Feels very cluttered & junky. I felt like I was being sold to vs walking into a relaxing atmosphere. It's not the experience I've had previously at other spas & one I don't want again. Sadly, I brought 4 others in with me. We are all in search of a new spa that resembles what you expect for this kind of business. Bought a groupon for a couples massage for Valentine's Day present. We went on a Friday evening. The Spa is in a corporate office building which was odd to us. It was after hours and very quiet and we weren't sure we had the right building. We walked into their office and were pleasantly surprised. Comfortable couches and chairs, water, hershey kisses and Buddha's. We checked in and only waited about 5 minutes. We did have to complete a health assessment. We were taken back to a massage room with two massage beds. We undressed and climbed into our massage beds. We noted that the hallway and rooms are small and tight. Not terribly so but there are decorations that due to space might be too much for some people who may feel slightly claustrophobic. We did like the decorations aesthetically. Onto the messages: I had a more relaxing massage while my partner had a Swedish. I added a lime scalp treatment and he had a foot scrub. All services were top notch and the therapists were fantastic. We both felt great. We enjoyed the music in the room. The beds were comfortable. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion. They have a lot of options. We both agreed we would return. We decided to book a couple massage here recently since they had decent reviews. Our therapists did a great job, Vernita and Cheryl? The space was a bit cramped. We waited outside of the building for quite sometime since the main building front door was locked. (This was on a Sunday). We kept calling and texting for awhile. Was visiting the Delaware area and stopped in Harmony Spa, the asthetician I saw was Corrianna. She was very sweet and explained the process in detail. She was gentle and everything was pain free. I have scars from acne as a teenager and although my scars aren't completely gone (I know it will take more than one session) I can see a difference in my skin from a chemical peel. I asked for a medium not deep massage on the sheet they make you fill out and was left with bruises on my arms, back and legs. It didn't hurt at the time but never left a massage with bruises. Wish I could say I would be back but I don't like bruises and being asked if I am ok. Shouldn't have to cover up after a massage. My husband asked for deep and wasn't bruised.
