    ESC was a fantastic choice for movers. I messaged 4 providers through Yelp and they were the first to message back. They were also the most reasonable so that was very helpful. I needed to move a couple rooms worth of furniture to my new house. We messaged them on Wed and were able to set up movers for Saturday. On the date of the move they called 30 mins before the scheduled time and let me know they were on the way. They arrived right on time, ready to go. The movers that came were super quick but also very careful with the furniture. They took their time to wrap each piece. They placed everything safely in the truck. The truck that they had was gigantic. It could probably move a full home worth of stuff. The guys were very nice and respectful. Definitely not randoms that were pulled off the street. I highly recommend this group. We are happy we chose them and plan to use them for moving furniture to our new office.

    I started this review a few months ago and am finishing it now because I think its important enough to do so. Id suggest paying special attention to how they handle feedback like mine. Id really like to preface by saying that the reason why I had a bad experience with this company had less to do with circumstance and more to do with the rude, unprofessional attitude I was confronted with. The thing is, I am a small business owner myself and get inundated daily with customer inquiries and I value the importance of treating people with respect and kindness as well as trying to do whatever I can to make any and all situations right. I spoke to someone from the company 2 days before because I needed to urgently move. While we were discussing my needs, there appeared the option to book my appointment via yelp which I did. I was sent the confirmation shown in my screenshot. I was told by the agent that I would be expecting them from 1-4pm and, being that I am a business owner AND moving, I went on about my busy life. The day I was supposed to move into my new apartment and I was at my old one at 1 as per their advisement and I noticed that it appears they have no record of my appointment. I am panicking as I have little time as it is and now I have to deal with the fact that it SEEMED my movers wouldn't show up. I am admittedly freaking out a bit as I have scheduled my whole week around this move and it was starting to look like things were going down hill. Since the individual who I was speaking with did not seem to understand that I had a CLEAR confirmation with a date and time, and all I received in response to my trying to show my appointment was a curt, sarcastic "SURE" (as though I am sitting around..trying to play a prank or lying when it was clearly a misunderstanding). Since it seemed that there was some confusion, I took the time to screenshot my confirmation and send it over via email, asking about my appointment. I was then called and that's when things really got ridiculous The person on the other line, the same individual i had been speaking with via yelp mail, was EXTREMELY rude and nasty. Instead of trying to get to the bottom of the situation- as ANY self-respecting business owner would do- they acted as though I was crazy - like I had made the whole thing up. He didn't want to take ANY accountability or try to help me reschedule or anything- he just wanted to argue. To be honest, this isn't the end of the world for me. I had the opportunity to move to a dream building and still have a lease at both apartments meaning I don't have to move out by the 1st or anything- i just really wanted to settle into my new surroundings. If he had said something along the lines of " I am so sorry, it looks as though the time you scheduled was not done so correctly. We do not book through yelp and can only take appointments via our website. I apologize for the confusion- is there a time that can work for you to reschedule?" I literally would have been a little sad but not LIVID enough to write a bad review. This whole situation could have been easily avoided.

    STAY AWAY. FRAUDULENT BUSINESS AND COMPLETE SCAMMERS! PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU CONSIDER THESE CROOKS. Firstly I want to start with me saying I'm about 90% sure these flawless reviews are fake, but let's get into my review/the worst experience and service that I've had in my entire 24 years of life. Now for my story, I originally was messaged on this site regarding a price quote (it will be in the photos), this was for a cash payment of $80 per hour for TWO MOVERS and a truck (remember this part). I received the quote and called and spoke to "Sergey". Came off super friendly on the phone (anybody would to get money from you) and I reiterated MANY times what my rate would be and clarified any fees which were said to be non-existent other than the hourly rate. The moving date is scheduled for 7AM on a Friday. We are told it's scheduled and we will receive a confirming call about 30 minutes to an hour prior to 7AM. Me and my family woke up an hour earlier to wait for said call and movers, not only did we not receive a call, we decided to give them 45 minutes before we called THEM just Incase they were late by 30 or so. Them being 30 late or so didn't really matter to us, BUT after the time passed we called "Sergey" to inquire about the movers arrival. I can't make this up when I say the man sounded like he JUST woken up and had no idea what was going on, which worries us quite a bit (we had to be out of our current place by end of day). We decided to continue to pursue their service simply because we were not sure if we could find another mover in time. "Sergey" then told us to give him an hour. At this point we were slight dissatisfied but still decided to pursue. An hour and 45 minutes went by, no call no nothing. At this point we're concerned whether or not this guy even has movers available to send out. We call him back, he requests another hour. THAT hour goes by. At this point it's roughly around 9:30 ish, 2 hours over our scheduled time. We give him another call asking what's going on, he says around 45 minutes. They arrived an hour and some change later at exactly 10:48AM. Dissatisfied but just ready to be done with these people, the movers come in, check the place out, and start working. I should known there was a red flag when I double checked our actual price with the workers and they had no idea saying "whatever the boss told you is your price". That should've been my time to pull out of the whole process but unfortunately I didn't make the correct decision. In the midst of the TWO WORKERS (they were both named "Alex" coincidentally) that I requested moving my things, one of the workers got very sick Id imagine from the heat (remember we requested them at 7AM?). Which stalled our moving process by at least TWO hours during the process. Two hours were waited and a replacement second man arrived. Now here is where the fraudulent stuff comes in, Upon packing our things into the truck and arriving, "Sergei" decides to charge us for those hours waiting for a second worker AND for the drive to my location (look at the photos I posted). Which was NOT part of the business deal whatsoever, it's just flat out trying to jip someone out of cash. After being told this wasn't part of the deal whatsoever and that I had screenshot proof of the quote I was given, They refused to unload our things unless we paid that amount. Not having it, me and my family were at a stalemate with these people from 9PM to almost midnight over them giving back OUR property when we agreed to pay them what we were quoted. Even had to get the cops involved (the moving truck didn't even have a license plate). The movers then called their boss to come, he took awhile to arrive and when he did he had walked up to my sister and family with a threatening manner, which I shutdown quick, you don't treat customer like you're about to scrap (which really would've been bad for you because personally I was ready to fold this man in a knot had jail time not been a factor). After hours of waiting we received our things and paid them the amount (STILL more than what we were quoted) just to get be done with this shitty "company" AND they damaged some of my property in the process of simply leaving it in my GARAGE because I was just so done with them. Speaking of company, the man "Sergey" could not even give me a business card or even provide any type of proof that he WAS in fact a businessman. I also have videos of the entire ordeal. So in closing, I hope any poor souls don't stumble upon this company's yelp thinking they are saints because you will be ROBBED. I hope to god you never get another customer and your fraudulent business gets shut down.

    Alex, Nik, and Igor did a fantastic job moving our stuff from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom townhouse from Koreatown to Gardena. This was considered a big job and took 6 hours. Alex was the coordinator and was really efficient with his team. The source had an elevator but our townhouse didn't. The team did a great job dealing with the three stories.

    Moving is one of the worst possible events because it is highly stressful. I am a full time working mom and scheduled everything based on this move. All that had to be done last and was the point of hiring "Superb" Movers was that I needed help transporting larger furniture items...your normal items of armoire, fridge and couch. I unfortunately had to agree to a 3hour minimum job even though there are very minimum items to transport. I was scheduled and promised an arrival of 8-10am and the guy called me at 9:12 to say that they'll be late. He said they had a job late the night before that was up 3 flights of stairs and they workers are tired today and had to change the window to 11-1pm. He wanted to give me a heads up at 9:12, the tail end of the window we were given. You're not doing me any favor by telling me at the end of the window instead of early in the morning. Again, we scheduled all meetings and other appointments around this move so being punctual was highly critical. Their response was the poor excuse and also that timing for moving almost never run on schedule. THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM, NOT MINE. I have a schedule that I need to stick to and the reason for hiring you in the first place! Then they asked to change windows which we unfortunately could not due to scheduled meetings in the afternoon. They offered a discount which is useless for two reasons: (1) i hired you at a premium so I can get things done timely and (2) if you didn't keep your punctuality then why would I trust you a second time? The discount shows that they can do at a lower cost to make up for a half ass apology and unprofessionalism. If anyone accepts that, it would mean to accept mediocre work. You get what you paid for. Being in a service industry, punctuality is a key and it was obviously missed by a mile. Needless to say, this has caused me an immense amount of stress and I had to cancel for a backup plan since I lost trust in their punctuality...That is if they would show up at all. I have left you text messages, an email, and yelp messages to cancel. I also have a recording of the poor excuse given. This experience has been really mortifying and stressful. I will not be using your service any time in the future and you will definitely not be a referred company.

    Alex and Andrew were extremely kind, quick and professional! They gave us a call 30 minutes before they arrived and got here right on time and ready to go. We had an entire apartment's worth of stuff and they masterfully wrapped each item and transported it safely. For the price and the efficiency, this really can't be beat!

    Gash in wall. Admitted it but says, "oh they are going to repaint anyway, just let the owner take care of it". Ummmm I'M THE OWNER!!

    This company was easy to book and they showed up on time ready to work. However, after seeing the size of my job, the manager, Sergey, had a crappy attitude. Often complaining that I should have asked for 4 movers instead of just 2. However, I didn't realize the extent of the move.... my bad! Then, they didn't have a necessary dolly that was needed to move my refrigerator and my husband had to go rent it for them and then help them move it. They left gashes in my walls, broke a light fixture, and chipped paint. WTH?!?!? After completing the move I discovered that they broke my grandfather clock and refrigerator. However, he did come back after my husband insisted he fix the refrigerator and gave us a $70 refund for the broken clock.

    Alex and Andrew at ESC Moving were incredibly quick and efficient. They arrived EARLY to my storage unit, were perfectly professional and moved everything with ease. They got up my flight of stairs effortlessly and were all the awhile so very kind to me. I high recommend them for any level of moving job.

    They helped me move my furniture with ease. Real chill dudes! They texted before they arrived and came in a huge truck. They had all the equipment like blankets, and plastic wrap to keep my stuff nice. Their truck even had extra moving boxes even though I didn't need them. Definitely recommend!

    ESC Moving company provided us with the most amazing, no-hassle moving experience we've ever had. Their pricing was competitive and very reasonable. My husband is very particular about how furniture needs to be unassembled and reassembled. Alex and Rudy were extremely patient, friendly, and well trained movers. They handled our valuables and our piano with much care. They brought all of their own equipment and cleaned everything up very nicely after they left. We will definitely refer ESC Moving company to our friends and neighbors as well as use them again in the future for our next move.

From the start, they took the time to walk through our home and clearly ask about everything we wanted to move so they could mentally map out how to load the truck efficiently. They were extremely diligent with protection, using blankets and/or shrink wrap on all furniture and electronics, and they were very by the book when it came to reviewing the contract and confirming details. I especially appreciated that they checked all electronics before and after the move and even had me climb into the truck at the end to verify that nothing had been left behind. The move‑in was just as smooth. We had labeled certain items to go to one level and others to another, and they followed those directions perfectly, with everything ending up exactly where it was supposed to, with no damage and no confusion. Their organization and care were obvious in every box/container they carried and every piece of furniture they placed. Moving is usually a very stressful experience, but Fito and the Pure Moving team made it feel manageable and even reassuring. I found them to be excellent in every way, and I would highly recommend both the company and this specific crew to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful, and professional help on moving day.

    Yelp Projects: I started with a Yelp project that allowed me to enter the Project details included…read morewith my move. It then sends out a blast ( I assume) to Yelp Guaranteed businsses. Then the messages started coming in. I received 10 inquiries from various moving companies, but Prodigy came in first. You can tell that the 1st messages look automated, but Abby came in with a personal message as well and sent me the specifics to my move quickly. I had her on the phone within a couple of hours. I had diligently worked through all the companies and looked at the various price points and what it included. I was really weary on how fast things would go, but Abby said, for the size of myhome, she suggested 4 movers at $195. Since they also had great reviews and seemed very professional, I completed my reservation by the end of the day. Day of move: Not going to lie, I waited too long to pack up my office and boy, did I feel it on moving day. My office was still not fully packed, it had a lot of furniture to be moved and I was literally still working when they arrived. Arrival time was between 8-9 AM. Ivan called a little after 8 AM to let me know they would be arriving in about 45 min since it was traffic and they were coming from the valley (I was in Echo Park). So I started excusing myself from work and prepared for their arrival. Everything happened so fast. I showed them around the apartment: 2 stories and 1 level up from garage (2 sets of stairs) and then a long driveway. I had stuff in the backyard and the balcony too. I asked if they could put some furniture out on the street for pickup and they helped me out with that as well! I let Ivan know that I was still working on breaking down the office, so he said he would go there last... and they all went to work. All I could here was the plastic wrap noise going round and round. They had broken down everything! Dining table, Peloton, Recliner chair.. It was amazing to watch and they did it with such care. They were done packing up in less than 4 hrs (3 bedroom apartment). We took the drive down south and they beat me there. They were already unloading and asking where to put things. Not only are they movers, they are also interior decorators LOL. We did not move into an empty house, so they helped us move things around and place stuff where we wanted. On top of that, they rebuilt all the things they took apart. I bought them lunch from a Busy Bee in San Pedro and a neighbor even offered them avocados from her tree! At the end of the day, I couldn't find my bag and phone! The whole team helped me try to find it because we thought it got buried in the garage! I had put it aside in one of the bedrooms and forgot where I had put it, but I was so grateful that they tried to help. I was thinking it would be an 8-10 hr day and it turned out to only be 7 hrs including the drive time. They made a very incredibly stressful time in my life as easy as possible. Then Abby, the manager of schedule talked as if I was wrong and was unapologetic then just started complaining WHY CANT WE JUST TAKE THIS DATE SINCE MOVERS THERE ALREADY. I told her cuase were busy today and she just handled the entire situation as if we were to blame and never apologized. On top of that , their work order of WHERE to move my things was the WRONG ADDRESS!!! They dont really care about details and when they make mistakes, they act like your wrong and are rude about it. I understand miscommunications happens all the time, but even after showing her the clear emails which she confirmed herself in writing, she had no apologies. The team was efficient, respectful, and understanding of the hot mess of a move we had for them - lots of packing help with not a lot was ready to go, plus some unexpected furniture moving that required disassembly/reassembly. They came right about 15 minutes after the end of the arrival window which actually worked out well so we could prepare more for them, but overall everything was faster than they/we estimated which is great when you're paying by the hour. They used supplies we had bought from Home Depot and Amazon, plus their own for the wardrobe and other big things. One glass jar was broken in the unpacking process and they were quick to apologize and clean it up the best they could. While they ask customers to leave a review (totally understandable), I appreciate that they don't incentivize for them nor do they demand 5 stars. We'll be calling for them again, no doubt. Thank you!

We had scheduled a delivery day and time, and only hours before they told me that it was not going to happen. Every day after that, I called them and they told me it was being delayed by a further day. They never reached out to me to tell me or to schedule a new time. I had to reach out to them every time. Finally, after 4 days I got them to schedule a time. To add insult to injury, they showed up over 2 hours late to that scheduled time too. Horribly unprofessional, will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I didn't mind the delay. But the complete lack of communication was unacceptable. I had to sleep on an air mattress and stay at friend's places, without any knowledge of where my stuff was or when it was coming.

They took apart our large furniture and put it back together which was crucial. What was also great is they wrapped everything in plastic and or padding to protect everything. I was very pleased with how they did this. I was very nervous about our newly painted pure white walls but nothing major happened to those as well, nothing broken, and otherwise everything handled with care. I am glad they do! Moving from a 3rd-floor 2B/2B to a 2nd floor unit (stairs at both ends!!) is no small task, but Ryan and John made it look easy. I'm a customer service professional myself so let me break it down for you: Communication & Service: my move was a bit chaotic. I requested about six different quotes as my destination and service needs kept shifting right up until the week of my move (talk about running up against the clock, eek!!!). They were so patient, professional, and, more importantly, available! I even texted a question on a Sunday afternoon expecting a Monday morning reply only to have the whole issue resolved the same day in under five minutes. Their responsiveness is unmatched. Care & Handling: they treated my property like their own. They laid down canvas to protect the carpets and skillfully wrapped and stacked everything. I have several pieces of artwork and a massive California king bed that is a nightmare to navigate through stairwells, but they handled it with ZERO issues. Not a single dented corner or broken glass in the whole lot. Plus, they provided wardrobe boxes for my hanging clothes at no extra charge (provided I returned them), which was a big time-saver. Pricing & Reliability: the price quoted was exactly what I paid. They were upfront about factors like stairs and specialty items, so there were no surprises. They are competitively priced, but the level of service you get makes them the best value on the market imo. And believe me, I reached out to four different companies during the initial RFQ process, and none of them had the level of personal service or value-for-price that BZ did (which, coupled with my previous experience with them, is why I chose them). Logistics: they were exactly on time for both loading and delivery. They confirmed the arrival window the day before and they still text me the day-of to let me know they were on their way and reconfirmed their arrival time. So helpful!!! For the interstate leg, they provided a tracking link so I could see exactly where the truck was while I was driving separately. Seriously, if you want a team you can trust implicitly with your belongings (and your sanity), hire BZ Moving. I didn't have to lift a finger and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
