As far as Asian buffets, this one is one of the better ones. They were a lot of choices and everything was replenished quickly. The biggest selling point was their hibachi grills. They had a variety of items and many different sauces to choose from. I love seafood and the fried fish and mussels were tasty. This will definitely be in my rotation given I have a hungry teenage boy. Bonus for having chocolate and twist option for ice cream.

Adding this spot to our buffet rotation! My fiancé and I had gone to the buffet that was previously here and we were not impressed. We drove by again a few months later and noticed a new spot had opened up so we had to check it out. We walked in and were immediately impressed! We were sat right away and able to grab food as soon as we sat down. My fiancé loved the decor, especially the fountain wall lol everything was very clean and organized. The Hibachi grill was open and we loved that we could build our own meal. The sushi selection was also nice, we would suggest a few more options but there was a decent amount there! The staff did a good job making sure everything was well stocked and there were plenty of options to choose to eat. Overall we had a great experience and we will be back!

I've been to a lot of buffets, and this one was amazing! For a typical Chinese Buffet, they got the ambiance spot on, the structures inside really felt like I was inside of a temple, which is a shocking contrast from outside the buffet. 9.9/10 The service was amazing as well! The staff were very friendly and unlike most places, weren't intimidating at all! They were pretty quick as well, after finishing my drink they came over to ask if I wanted a refill. 8.9/10 The food was something else. They had the usual Lo Mein, Hibachi Grill, and sushi. However they had something I don't usually find often. Barbecue Ribs. The seasoning and sauce on them were different from any other ribs I had before, it wasn't too sweet and too dry. 10/10 Overall, I really love the place, I will look forward to coming again. Thank you for serving me!

Not sure what the hype is about this place. The only thing I liked was the craw fish and they were always empty.

Lunch buffet is about $20, Dinner about $25 (both really good deals if you can afford it, because the range of food available is vast. This includes salads, appetizers, entrees and desserts). As of Feb, 2026, this is a place, on "Eat Street" in Mpls that is challenged because of ICE in Mpls - many regular customers not coming in. It's not a pleasant experience when, for example, you grab a lamb leg piece and it's cold on the outside. The inside of the restaurant is decent. I wasn't a fan of the desserts--mostly standard buffet fare without much variety. That said, I did really enjoy the gyro meat and the spiced rice with okra tomato sauce; those were the highlights. The service was good, which I appreciated, but for the price, I wouldn't say this place is worth it. I do want to say, though that I am willing to give it another try in the future, I believe that a lot of times restaurants can just have a bad day.

One standout for me was the chicken wild rice soup, which was rich, comforting, and surprisingly enjoyable even with mushrooms mixed in -- the flavors were well balanced and hearty without being overpowering. The salad bar was another strong point, with a good range of fresh ingredients and prepared salads that felt thoughtfully stocked rather than repetitive. The pizza was decent -- not the highlight of the meal, but serviceable and satisfying as part of the larger selection. To finish, the ice cream was excellent and easily one of the most enjoyable parts of the experience, offering a classic, nostalgic end to the meal. Overall, Q Cumbers is a solid choice if you're looking for variety and comfort in a relaxed, casual setting. It's especially well-suited for diners who enjoy being able to customize their meal and sample multiple items in one visit. Q Cumbers is worth a try if you haven't been. The variety makes it easy to find something you'll enjoy, and there are a few standout items that make the experience feel comforting and familiar rather than overwhelming. Let's start with the obvious: it's a buffet. We're getting our own plates, our own refills, doing the whole "DIY dining" thing. Fine. But for that price, you'd expect at least decent food. Instead, it was bland, forgettable, and sitting somewhere between lukewarm and questionable. Now the part that really sealed it: as we were literally getting up to leave, an employee approached us and demanded a tip. Not suggested. Not politely mentioned. Demanded. Then another staff member came over, pointed at the receipt, and told me I needed to tip. I'm actually a generous tipper, happily so, when it's earned. But being confronted like that? That's not service, that's pressure with a side of audacity. I even tried to clarify, thinking maybe gratuity wasn't included and I misunderstood. I was told, "No, service is completely separate." Okay... then maybe make that crystal clear somewhere? A sign, a note, literally anything. I would have gladly run to my car to grab cash and come back if it had been handled respectfully. But after being cornered and told I had to tip? Absolutely not. If your business model relies on tipping, act like it. Don't ambush customers on their way out like they're skipping out on a bill. Between the overpriced, underwhelming food and the aggressive tipping situation, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a while.
