I got in and out in less than 10 minutes. Papers printed, signed, stapled. Dude running the place was courteous and efficient. Best lunch break errand ever. read more

Found this place on Yelp a couple of years ago. True to reviews, it was and still is efficient & well priced. I'll never go anywhere else. Even our Boxster, which is difficult to smog (a cover plate must be removed) was only a nominal fee on top of the reasonable smog rate. I told Danny I was going to Yelp him but he seemed unaffected; I guess he gets plenty of business through word of mouth but what the heck . . Thanks, Danny! read more

I needed a smog check ASAP thanks to registration renewal for the DMV, so I hopped on Yelp and found this place with all its 5-star reviews. Yelpers did not disappoint. I got there a couple minutes before they opened this morning, but Danny was nice and gracious and got started with my car. The info was passed along to the DMV which he said would update at midnight. He's professional and friendly, and I was out the door by 8:42am. Great service--thanks, Danny! read more

I had a little over one hour to get the registration and tags on my wife's car. (I did not look at the Registration Form first.) So when I got to the AAA I was told that I needed a Smog. (A buddy of mine told me about this place.) So I drove up the freeway a few miles and pulled in. I was immediately taken in, tested and gone in less than 15 minutes! No extraneous Bullshit, no RED FLAGS or Failures...pass, a check for $50.00 and a Smog Cert! Back to the AAA and in less than 50 minutes I had a Smog and DMV Registration! Go to this man if you need a smog, no BS...pay and a Smog Cert! read more

Very straight forward & to the point, only $50 for my BMW. I was literally done in 10 minutes...Awesome!

I have been coming her for the past couple of years and Danny has always been helpful. I just had my car smogged and told Danny that the car had been sitting dead for a while and he told me that he would have to check to see if the car's computer had been reset to pass smog. He told me if it wasn't, I could come back some other time and he wouldn't charge me. Luckily, I was able to do the smog check and got in and out of that place in 10 minutes. read more

Danny is a real cool guy. Very professional and got the job done in less than 20 minutes. Just call ahead of time so you don't have to wait. read more

Short and sweet. I found the place in the little shopping center full of car places, walked in, and Danny took me right away. He was very kind, said it would be ten minutes, and I doubt it was even that long I was waiting. I paid $53 by card and went on my way. Definitely would take my car back here if I was in Orange County. read more

Adding to the flawless record. Super Smog is no-frills, quick, easy to get to, reasonably priced, and very friendly. I only wish he provided more services because I'd return more often than every two years! read more

Getting my car smogged has always been a pain (lots of waiting and expensive). My sister recommended this center to me and I checked it out on Yelp. Everyone was right! It was so easy. I came by around 2pm hoping that it wasn't crowded so I can pick my kids up from school afterwards and there was no wait. Danny said it would be 10 minutes and no joke, it was done in 10 minutes, then I just had to write my check and wait for my receipt! Made my day! Thanks Danny! He knows what he is doing. Will take my husband's car here. Bring cash or check to avoid credit card fees. read more

This guy lived up to the fantastic reviews. Quick process, simple procedure, friendly guy, out in 20 minutes. I will return here every time.

Due for my two year smog check. Came back to Danni and he' still just as quick and efficient! In and out in 5 minutes!

The fastest I've ever completed a smog check, went in on a Friday morning at 11:50, was out by noon. $50 cash or $55 credit which is fair for a small business that has to cover the credit card fees assessed against merchants. Would definitely come back again. read more

I've been here a few times over the years. Today I was in and out in around 10 minutes after a passing visual and OBDII inspection. It was $55 total charged to a credit card: $46.75 for the inspection, $8.25 for the State certificate, and $5 for using a credit card. Danny will give you a copy of the results for your own records. read more

I read Thai P.'s comment and went right away. I was in and out in 10 minutes. No one in line before me and only one lady after me - this was on a Friday at 1:15pm. Danny was very nice. It was right off the 5 Freeway, too. read more

5 minute wait, 10 minute inspection, $50 check (extra $2 for debit, $3 for credit), Done! Never managed to get a Smog check completed in a lunch break before! read more

My wife and I have taken both our cars here and both times it was easy, fast, and priced right. The last time we were there we were 3rd in line and it still only took about 20 minutes TOTAL. They even electronically send in your certificate to the DMV. read more

Sold my car and needed a smog certificate. Head over to Super Smog and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Danny was again courteous and friendly. Prices are not the cheapest, but you don't have to wait hours on end either. For the $10 difference head over to Super Smog, what is your time worth? read more

I've gone here 3 times to get a smog check done on different cars and I'm out of there in 15 minutes or less every time ready to go (today was 7 minutes). There is nothing fancy about this place, as basic as its gets. But its fast, and I'm not there to hang out. It's nestled in the crowded auto plaza and run by the owner/operator Danny. He'll drive your car into the entrance, do the test, take approximately $50 from you check and certificate (my cost for a 4-car sedan), transmit your data directly to the DMV, and you're out. I've gotten Pass each time, so can't speak to feedback if you fail (it's a check-only station). I advise you to come before or after the weekday lunch rush and you'll likely go right in. Works for me. read more

Excellent experience. I didn't have an appointment. Just walked in after lunch on Thurs and it was in & out in less than 10~15 min. $50 bucks. read more

Needed to get a smog check and I had the day off so I went online and looked some places up and this had good reviews. I headed over there and was the first customer of the day so there was no delay. He told me it would be $50 if I paid cash. I walked over to the nearby Wells Fargo to get some cash and by the time I got back, he was already. Fast and friendly. The waiting room seemed kind of small but was not an issue for me. read more

Went in today for a smog check, was in and out in 15 minutes - compared to another place in the same strip who wanted me to wait for 3 hours and wouldn't take appointments for another day. Danny was quick and courteous, no issues. Make sure you take cash, using card means an extra 5 bucks. read more

Really fast service. They don't have a waiting room because they don't need one. Whole smog check took about 15 minutes without an appointment. The fees are also very reasonable. Highly recommended. read more

Great Service, Fast Service!! Price was what I was quoted for my 04 Acura TL. Awesome experience!!!

You'll be in and out in a heartbeat! Danny does a good job of getting the job done quickly and with no drama. I've taken two cars to him and have had zero problems while spending probably no more than 30 minutes there (for both cars)... read more

Simply put, you'd be a complete moron to go anywhere else. I actually joined Yelp in order to be able to give Super Smog (and Danny in particular) a 5 star rating. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. No hassles. No frills. Easy and straightforward. No appointment necessary. read more

Danny at Super Smog is simply the best test-only place I can imagine going to. My older Hondas are all test only and I can count on Danny to make sure they are treated right and tested fairly. I have been going here for years and will continue to do so as long as I need to smog my cars! read more

Going to Pepboys would take my whole day, standing in line early in the morning, waiting, waiting, waiting. They hung up on me when I called to try and make an appointment so I checked Yelp and discovered the highly rated Super Smog. Wow. This guy is smart, friendly, well organized, knows his business and will have you and back to your life in 10 minutes. I will never have my smog check done anywhere else. Go and do business with this guy, keep him successful so we can always get serviced at Super Smog! read more

I was in the area on a Saturday morning for a brief meeting. I remembered I got a notice to get smog check with my registration renewal and that there are bunch of auto shops around Lake Forest dealership area. I called this place and the guy gave me no BS straight quote and estimated completion time of 10 minutes. I drove over and got there 2 minutes later and the person, that I am assuming is the owner was already doing a check on another customer's car. He told me to give a few minutes while I was waiting in a nice small waiting area with AC blasting. about 4 minutes later he comes in, get my info and my key. I was expecting it to take full 10 minutes but he came back after about 5 minutes and let me know it was done. You could totally see that the guy is a genuine and hard working. He was extremely courteous. I was dreading going over to a shop during one of the weekdays, but he just got it done so fast and made it extremely convenient for me.I am not going anywhere else for future smog check on any of our family cars. read more

Thanks to the other yelp reviewers who wrote for super smog. Went in after calling and sure enough the price was as Laz J stated below. Danny was extremely nice and quick. There was someone ahead of me and someone behind. Sure enough he hustled to get us in and out in great time. I think he took 10 minutes to do the guys car in front of me. Mine was also about 10 minutes. I would recommend mentioning finding him on yelp as I think its mutually beneficial. Highly recommended. read more
