9/9/22 It's been a long time since I have been in a Super Shuttle, but the memory of one trip still stays in my mind even to this day. I wrote a review about Super Shuttle before, but it seems to have going the way of a candle in the wind. Nevertheless, I see Super Shuttle's pisspoor survive hasn't changed. I have ridden Super Shuttle and at times did not mind ridding along and seeing whom else we end up acquiring inside the shuttle. Sometimes you might be the only one who gets picked up and paying $14.99 (at the time) was a bargain. Later on the price was $19.99, but to get either of these prices back then, you had to do the share ride. Otherwise, the $14.99 to $19.99 would be more like 30 something or more each way. Anyhow, one of the last times I was on a Super Shuttle, this punk kid started getting rude with all his passangers. I had been on a plane from Switzerland with my sister and rudeness would not be tolerated. All of the passager were pretty much fed up with his attitude and did not tip the kid after he dropped him off. This was back in the wintertime and we did get stuck in the snow a few times too. I have called a few other times for a Super Shuttle and they never showed up for pick up and these were scheduled for a single pick up which cost more. Since those experiences happen, I have found other methods of getting to the Airport no matter which airport. I saw a while back the almost went out of business. If their pisspoor service continues the way it's going, the sure as hell will be. read more

I've been using Super Shuttle for years. They are affordable and dependable. I have only have positive experiences so far.

Worst service ever! The driver never showed. I tried to contact him 5 times on the app and he never responded. I also tried tracking him on the app and it showed him at a gas station. I called the phone number listed but the office was closed despite the automated message saying it was open the hours I called. I requested a reimbursement online but still no money back. Update: I got reimbursed. read more

TL;DR Supreme Shuttle employs shady drivers that ask for huge tips. Also don't leave any items in the car, the driver may claim it's not in the car, but show up the next day with the item and demand a $45 service fee. My mom took a ride home from IAD via supreme shuttle. The driver aggressively asked each passenger for good tips claiming the company didn't compensate him for gas and how each of the passengers in a rich county. When my mom got dropped off she left her bag in the shuttle seat. It contained her ID and iPad mini. She quickly went back to retrieve it, but the driver claimed there was no bag and promptly drove off. There were multiple attempts to contact the shuttle company for retrieval, but they claimed nothing was found. The next day, without any further communication with the shuttle company, the same driver arrived at the house honking his horn to get my mom to come out. He had the bag with him and demanded $45 as a service fee for returning the lost item. As background, my mom is in her 60's and English is her second language. She ultimately was bullied into paying the man the $45 for her bag. read more

Never again will I use super shuttle/ execu car a shuttle or whatever its called! I booked a week in advance for minivan and recieved a yellow cab. Then on the way home my ride never came I called the# texted when arrived to the airport and they never found a ride for me so after waiting 1 half hr at 2:55 am I called a lyft! read more

I was hesitant t book the night before for a 6 am pickup but everything went swimmingly! I selected the group shuttle at the lowest rate, $19, from Herndon to Dulles. That's probably more than Uber or Lyft, but as a single woman traveling, I prefer the safety and security of a transportation company that follows DOT rules (background check for drivers, vehicle safety inspections, regular audits, etc). The next morning I was able to check how close the driver was thanks to their nifty locater app. Arrival was promptly at 6 am, and I was surprised to see it was a large black sedan rather than the ubiquitous blue shuttle. Since there was only one other passenger, they made use of their sister company (must be a black car service) to pick up myself and the other passenger. Our driver, Alex S, was pleasant and amiable - a welcome attitude that early in the morning. He got us to the airport quickly and was very helpful in getting our bags in and out of the car. Had an excellent experience with this shuttle service, will be using it again when I come to the DMV again. read more

I've used Supershuttle to take me to the airport and that worked okay. I will never use them again to bring me home. When I arrived at the Shuttle Counter at BWI at 1030pm, the girl staffing it said she didn't have a van for us yet, that I was probably better off cancelling the reservation. When asked why would I do that, I had a reservation, she said have a seat. I was seated with another couple that had been waiting an hour already. Ten minutes later we get a text that Vehilce #1086 is on its way; we could see it was 10 minutes away on the app. 20 minutes later, we could see the vehicle had not taken the airport turn off and was headed elsewhere. The girl at the desk just shrugged and said he went home to go to bed. Then she disappeared. We called the after hours dispatch center who said a different van was on its and 5 minutes out to pick us up. 45 minutes later we were still waiting and had seen no shuttle. We called again and were on hold for 20 minutes with no answer. I have to work this morning and had to get home. It cost me $116.88 to take a cab home on top of the $47.67 I had already paid super shuttle and the 2 hours I'd waited at the airport for super shuttle to live up to it contractural obligations. Just spent 35 minutes on the phone with super shuttle, got transferred 3 times and did not speak to a person who was interested in getting me my refund. I'm at work and cannot hang out on the phone all day so I am submitting this in writing via your website....who knows when/if I will ever get a response or a refund. read more

I recently had the unfortunate thought to use this airport transportation service. I sit the time my flight arrived, the place and time that I was to be picked up and taken home. My flight was early by 10 mins so I was at the shuttle pick up destination 5 mins early. So after text conformation that my shuttle would be there at 439am It didn't show up until 540am! There is no phone number to call customer service until 6am so I was stuck waiting to the unknown if they were even coming! They got me one time with this terrible service there will not get me a second. read more

I paid $35.22 for a ride each way from Dulles to DC and back. The ride from the airport was fine, if a little slow. The ride back never showed up. I asked for a refund and they are fighting me on it, saying they showed up. (They never did, I had to book an Uber instead.) Why would I make that up, and waste my time writing about it. I like the app. Used it to book my trip from my hotel to Dulles. Like that I can see the location of the driver. Don't like that you put in your flight info and they pick the pick-up time. They scheduled my pick-up 2 hours before my flight. Then I was not the last pick-up; we had to go to another hotel. There were long lines at TSA and I almost missed my flight. I had the opposite experience the time before. They scheduled my pick-up 3.5 hours before my flight and I had to get up for a 4:30 AM pick-up. If I could give a negative star , I would . Our family booked the shuttle to pick us up from The airport at 1:00am, we confirmed the day before. We arrived on time, check in using our mobile. We called super S after waiting for awhile. The operator said "the wait time is one hour" ok, we waited , after an hour, called again, the same person told us " currently there is no shuttle coming in to the airport , we can continue to wait" when asked when the shuttle will arrive, that guy cannot give me an answer. Man, I just cancelled and use the washington flyers ( with help from an airport staff) . The taxi was here within a few mins. Arrived home safely. Super Shuttle has Poor service, a dishonest company.. why accepted my reservation when you cannot give me the service .. Yeah, this service is pretty bad! First trip to airport, driver said he was 5 mins away, like 4 times. Finally, I knew I had to find another way because time was now running short. Thankfully, I found a cab and got to the airport just in time. Do you know that as soon as I arrived at the airport, the driver sent me a text saying he was at my house?! Then on my return home, I chose a private car. Do you know they picked me up in an old cargo van that was for transporting wheelchairs? That was the bumpiest ride ever. Never again SS. Super Shuttle has a well deserved reputation for poor customer service but on my ride back to Maryland from Dulles Airport last week I witnessed a new level of terribleness from them. The driver DEMANDED a tip from each passenger he let off. Exact Quotes: Driver to Customer #1: "You got my tip?" Driver To Customer #2: "Where is my tip?" Perhaps in this driver's home country such blunt rudeness is normal in customer service but here in the United States it is very bad form. Perhaps if the actual service merited a tip then it wouldn't be so bad but I have not seen great service from Super Shuttle yet and I won't in the future because I am D-O-N-E with them forever. read more

Booked shuttle for four from local Sterling, VA address to Dulles Airport. Prepaid month ahead of trip and all was set. Day of travel we were standing in driveway with bags packed and ready to go. Driver never showed. Called Supper Shuttle number on reservation to find that they had cancelled our trip because they were short on drivers. We drove and just made our flight. I just cancelled our return with them. Guess they thought we would use them on our return. NOT. Never again if I can help it. read more

Really bad service! They tell you the wait time is 15-20min. Don't believe them! And depending on which door you go to, you might end up walking a lot. After a long-day travel, and carrying more than one luggage, this is not fun! I waited for 30min, after that, every time I ask an employee about my status, they direct me to another person. They all play the hot-potato -it's not my responsibility- game, a clear indication of terrible management and unsatisfied employees. After finally getting assigned a driver, he seemed overly relaxed, taking his time, chatting on the phone, and not considerate at all of the passenger (terribly rude when asked any question!!) although the dispatcher gave him ok to leave. I ended up cancelling with them and taking an uber. My advice, take a cab, Uber, or Lyft. If the price is surging you're still better off waiting 5-10 min then requesting a ride again. read more

Horrible. Reserved and paid for over a month ahead of time not wanting to wait too long after a late night arrival with the family. App said driver on way but never showed and when I called they said it would be 2.5 hour wait? (It was 1 am at this point) Doesn't deserve the one star. Never again will use this service. Can't believe this group is still in business. Called 4 mins before they were supposed to pick me up for my international flight and said the driver had cancelled. DON'T DO IT UPDATE 1: Trying to request a refund. Per Customer Service rep, can only be done online. No reference to refunds online! Unable to find "refund link." On hold for over one hour. No apology, not even the courtesy of an explanation was offered. I had to press him for more info. It gets worst -- They lied! Jim said, "Well they tried calling you earlier in the day but got no answer!!!!!!" HELLO SUPER SHUTTLE -- how about a little common sense here -- LEAVE A MESSAGE W/A CALLBACK NUMBER! But of course since you did NOT call, that wouldn't be an option -- now would it?! So now I'm stranded at Dulles and clearly have to scramble to Reagan to catch my flight. Did I say they NEVER called me?! NEVER! 3:45 a.m. Outside. Female. Alone. Get this! When I asked about the process for my refund, I was told, "Go to the website." That's it. Just that easy for SS to discard a customer. Did I mention that not once did Jim employ any customer service skills and he was sorely deficient in the professionalism department?!!! And NO APOLOGY! "I don't know how you're getting to Reagan." "I'm sorry you feel that way..." That's the level of customer service that he provided. It is the WORST!!!! made reservations online for a pick up from the airport to downtown, and the driver made us wait for an hour in the car in order to get more people in the van. When I booked the trip from downtown to the airport, the van showed up three hours before it supposed to show up s en though I changed the pick up time a day before. The customer service put me on hold because she didn't want to talk to me. Uber is much better and much cheaper. Worst service ever!!! read more

Total scam. I was outside waiting 15 minutes before my pickup time, and no one showed up. 5 minutes before my pickup time my ride was marked as "completed". No one answers on dispatch, and I ended up driving myself to the airport while I spent 45 minutes on hold. No one ever answered or tried to help at all. DO NOT USE!! read more

The shuttle picked me up at 5.05 and kept me in the vehicle for 45 minuets. There was no explanation given why he waited for that long. Extremely unprofessional and do not use super shuttle. Getting a taxi is way more convenient. read more

I have taken a Super Shuttle several times. Does it get you where you need to go? Yes. Will you enjoy the ride there? Not so much. If you're able to book a private car, it is a wonderful experience. But that's with another company. The last time I took a shared ride the guy who gave us a ride drive deep into the city then back out which was an odd choice. He also would floor it after every stop light. I would watch as the odometer went to 45 miles per hour in DC, then he would slam on the brakes at the next red light. Even if the light were red a block away, he would zoom ahead only to screech to a halt. Easily the most carsick I have been since I was a kid. Never again. read more

While providing a necessary service and cheap alternative to catching a taxicab to the airport, SuperShuttle leaves much to be desired for quality of service. On departure, they were more than an hour late picking me up. I think he even expected an additional tip once we go to the airport. I barely made my flight. On my return, the driver pulled the van off the side of road to look for his sunglasses. I suppose I should be glad he didn't do it while driving. All in all, I have to say they are a necessary evil. I would avoid this outfit in this location like the plague. Other SuperShuttles in other cities are great. Not this. My ride to the hotel took nearly 2 hours for a 30 min trip. An employee put me in the wrong van specifically and then they implied I made a mistake. I drove all over town and arrived at my meeting 90 mins late. On the trip back to airport they sent text msgs with pickup time, location and van number. Ready w bells on. No show in the time window. The correct van showed on a map 30 mins away. Called the company. They told me the hotel should take me to airport despite me pre-purchasing a RT w SuperShuttle and receiving text msgs from them. I said WRONG. After being on hold 10 mins, they said a van would be there in 6 mins. It was 20 mins, an hour late. Long distance to airport in traffic. Time crunch. They inform me they will make 2 more stops. Frustration voiced. Tough luck. Get to airport w minutes to spare, huge security line, no time for rest room or airplane food for 6 hour flight. Never again Super Shuttle. Zero stars and would appreciate a refund for stress imposed. read more

I booked a shuttle (2 weeks ago) for 7 people plus luggage, and prepaid for it at that time. Provided the flight info and what time we would need the shuttle to pick us up after our flight. We arrived at Dulles, on time, after a 16 hour flight from Hong Kong. NO SHUTTLE AVAILABLE!!! My whole crew have been sitting here waiting for over an hour now and still no shuttle. What's the point of booking it in advance and giving the flight info and departure time if they don't have a shuttle lined up for us?! The Super Shuttle rep here at the airport can't reach dispatch and is calling drivers himself trying to find someone to pick us up. This is THE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE!!! They plan in advance AT ALL and don't care AT ALL about the schedules you provide them when booking. They wait for you to arrive and then try finding a shuttle. RIDICULOUS!! ZERO STARS!!! WORST SERVICE EVER! Pickup scheduled (by them) for 10:00 for an 11:40 flight. At 10, they called to tell me they didn't have a driver and couldn't provide an estimated time of pickup. I called back later to request an update and was put on indefinite hold. Finally had to jump in a taxi to try to rush to the airport in time to catch my flight. My in-laws reserved a shuttle to the airport over a month in advance - (Derwood, MD to Dulles). They called and confirmed the night before, besides they were getting email that the shuttle was reserved so I felt I didn't need to worry about driving them at 4am. Shuttle didn't show. They called and were told to wait 15 minutes - nothing. They called again and were told a cab would pick them up. Then the cab company called and said there wasn't a cab available. The ended up driving like crazy and missed their flight, then got re-routed all over tarnation. They'll never call Super Shuttle again. read more

This is the second time this year I've made a reservation with this company and had to cancel due to them not having enough drivers. I got a text message 15 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive and was told to call cos of a lack of drivers. Was kept on hold for several minutes so I got on live chat and promptly canceled. Don't do it. Take Uber instead. I wish I had listened to this advice. The check in app is insane as it doesn't account for getting through customs but yet SuperShuttle encourages you to check in via the app as soon as you arrive! My driver's English wasn't great. I thought he was being rude but found out that another passenger was screaming that she had to wait. Still - It is a terrible way to travel especially after a 9 hour flight. We booked a shuttle for two people this morning at 4am. It was our first time booking. We wrote in the description that we were bringing 6 foot + skis. We knew it wouldn't be a problem since the only thing on your website is vans, and it says you carry skis, but still wanted to let you know. When we woke up at 3:30am on the day of our flight, we received a notice that a Prius would be picking us up. I have transported my skis in my Ford focus hatchback before (a bigger car than a Prius) and it is extremely difficult and uncomfortable even with just 2 people in the car. We called and spoke to dispatcher Adrian. Adrian said immediately, "oh are you calling because you are worried your skis won't fit?" Apparently he already knew, but just did not care. I told him they wouldn't fit. He said he might be able to get a different car, just didn't know when that would be. I told him I had a 6am flight and he just repeated himself and told me he wouldn't fight with me. I told him again we needed the shuttle and he said ok ma'am and hung up. I called back and asked for a supervisor. I spoke with Rob. Rob continued to speak over me as I told him the skis wouldn't fit. He told me in no uncertain terms that the skis would fit because his driver said so and he believes his driver (apparently not us) and that no other car would come get us. read more

Horrible service. Quick to take your money and give you vague instructions. Driver didn't even look at my shuttle pass to make sure I got on the right shuttle. But the counter guy told me to take the blue shuttle waiting and there was only one, so clearly I should've been more vigilant as well. Then the driver blamed me at the end of a 2 hr trip dropping off other people when the mistake was revealed saying I should've told him. Worst shuttle service ever. Driver showed up 30 min early at 2:15pm and demanded we leave earlier instead of the prearranged time at 2:45pm which had already changed from the original time of 3:10pm that I requested online. I paid for a 4 passenger 8 luggage shuttle to pick us up but not only was the shuttle that sent could not accommodate my party but my luggage's weren't able to fit either. I ended up getting an Uber on top of already paying for the shuttle service. It was a very frustrating experience and It was the first time I used your services. Very disappointed. read more

SuperShuttle has lost my business forever. I have used SuperShuttle in the past, and while it hasn't been great, it's been tolerable and is priced similarly to Uber. My experience in Washington, DC recently however has guaranteed that I will never use their "service" again. The first problem was on arrival. My flight was delayed and landed around 1:00 AM. I followed instructions and checked in online and went to my pickup spot. Soon after I got there they loaded a van and it left, while I was told that they were still looking for a van for me. So I sat, until almost 2:30 AM, when the airport "customer service" agent finally told me that they wouldn't be able to find a van for me. I ended up taking a taxi (for $90) to get to my destination, finally arriving around 3:00 AM. This was annoying and expensive, but not the worst thing SuperShuttle did to me on this trip. At this point I was worried about my ride back to the airport, which was scheduled for 3:20 AM for a 5:00 AM flight. I got up early and checked the app, and it showed I had an assigned van, #1065. Based on the distance he was from my hotel, it appeared he wouldn't arrive until around 3:50 AM, 15 minutes beyond the end of their "15 minute pickup window", but I should still have had plenty of time to get to the airport. I watched the app as the van headed my way. Then, less than a mile from my hotel, I watched it turn around and leave. I had requested an ETA several times on the app with no response, and the driver finally called me around 4:10 AM. I had booked an Uber by then, but calmly asked the driver (Robert) why he turned around and left when he was so close to my hotel. He started **YELLING AT ME** about how he was too tired to drive and was falling asleep at the wheel because he had been driving for the past 3 hours. [I should interject here that I believe he was probably lying to me and had really gotten lost, as I checked the app around 6:00 AM and he was still driving around]. After 20 seconds of this, I hung up on him. Obviously, despite the Uber, I missed my flight. I ended up paying American Airlines a $75 rebooking fee and taking a $50 Uber from Dulles to Reagan to get a flight home, as the desk agent told me it would have been hopeless trying to get out of Dulles on standby that day. This also cost me 5 hours and nearly a whole day's worth of work. I am now trying to get a refund. Their so-called customer service phone number does not allow you to do this, instead directing you to their website. The website assigns you a ticket so a representative can call you back, which the automated phone system says will happen quickly. They define quickly as **WITHIN 7 BUSINESS DAYS**. I fully expect to end up having to do a chargeback on my credit card. I also asked to file a formal complaint against Robert, but I expect SuperShuttle drivers get a lot of those, so I don't expect much to come of that either. Regardless, I won't be using SuperShuttle again at any airport. read more
