The food is pretty good, and the waitresses are excellent in my opinion. My only gripe with them is that they will charge you dinner prices even if you come in between 2:30 p.m and 3:00 p.m.. Even though dinner starts at 3 p.m. according to their signage. Don't listen to the haters!! I can tell you this restaurant is amazing! Those who gave it one star are fools complaining about the ice being too cold. I can't believe it's been 15 years since I graduated from OSU! I came back to visit some friends and classmates and was craving Chinese food. I'm so glad I found this place! This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of authentic and delicious Chinese dishes. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the wide selection. The service is excellent, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. A group of us had a wonderful time gathering here. I highly recommend this spot if you're ever in town. Out of all the Chinese buffets I've been to, this one has got to be my least favorite. Why call it a super seafood buffet if there is barely any seafood? Also there is a Mongolian hibachi in the very back (it's not Mongolian). All the food was very bland, and on top of that, the sushi selection was poor. WHY WAS THERE A YAM SUSHI ROLL WITH BARBECUE??? First of all, if you're expecting a 5-Star meal, go elsewhere. This is a typical Chinese Buffet, so I'm rating it in comparison to other Chinese Buffets I've eaten at, not to a Prime Steak House that costs 10 times more. We stopped by here shortly after they opened at 11:00AM on an early November Saturday morning, so all the food appeared to be fresh. PROS: Plenty of food in Buffet Serving Tables Price was decent on a per person basis. Food was tasted okay and none deemed poor. Service was prompt and friendly. Dirty Plates were quickly removed. Most of the Chicken dishes were pretty good. The restaurant appeared to be clean. CONS: Food (all of it) was barely warm at best. Managment needs to turn on their steam tables MUCH earlier. By the time we left, the tables were actually steaming, but we only had barely warm food to choose from between 11:15 to 11:45AM. No refills of beverages were offered. Only a single fork was provided, no spoons or knives. No condiments such as salt and pepper was on the tables. The appealing photos on the webpage are not very representative of the actual food. No fried or broiled fish was available with the exception of Fish Heads and Tails. The entire middle section of the fish with all the good meat was cut out and missing. It was not due to someone taking them to eat, they were just not prepared and served. I also couldn't find no fish dish that the middles would have been used for. Extremely limited Sushi selection...nowhere near what appears in the photos. No crab salad that virtually every Chinese Buffet has was available. No cold Muscles could be found. Only some baked version that was just barely warm. Those might have been good if actually warm or hot. The pizza was gone pretty quick and was never replaced during our visit. In summary, while not poor or bad, the lack of properly heating the food before opening was a MAJOR problem and impacted my rating. Also the name Super Seafood Buffet is misleading as there are far more chicken dishes than the extremely limited seafood selection. And what seafood they had was far from "Super" in either taste or quantity. Sorry 3-stars only (and I am being kind due to the good service). Will I return?...possibly if driving by in that area and am hungry, but it will not be a "destination restaurant". read more

this place was not as good as it looked in the pictures, we were excited to eat here, food smelled good until we got our plates. the food was bland, and at most it was cold. the chicken felt like rubber and tasted like nothing. the spring rolls were worse, as they aren't filled with anything and they're just hard and fall apart. our table was not clean, super sticky. the rice tasted burnt and the soups do not taste how they usually would, either bland or too salty. i do not recommend this place, we were looking for seafood to eat, and the seafood that's there has a very pungent smell to it. nothing was good, and is not what you would expect. 0/10. read more

This was one my go-to Asian buffet in Columbus. It was a bit out of my way, but was worth the trip. I was willing to overlook the ramshackle restrooms (the towel dispenser in the women's restroom has been broken for YEARS) because the food was excellent. And then the good things started disappearing. Snow crab legs went first, and then frog legs, dim sum, and many other things that used to make the trip worth it. After my latest trip, I've decided that what's left is just mediocre at best. They have quantity, but the quality is middling. I realize costs have gone up and the good stuff is more expensive, but when even the staple items (chicken on a stick, peanut chicken, etc.) go downhill, it's time to call it quits. We got takeout and it is honestly a hidden gem when you're looking for a healthy meal at an affordable price. You can get a to go container upon entry and head straight to the bar. Fill it up with whatever you like then take it for weighing. My husband and I both loaded up on rice, Singapore noodles, General tsao chicken, green beans, corn, pepper steak and more! Our total came to $13!!! Between the two of us. That's an amazing bargain. Highlights were plantains. Now, I'm Caribbean so I have high standards for plantains. Let me tell you, if I served them on a plate I would have guessed they were made by a Caribbean grandma. That's how banging they were. Pepper steak wasn't anything special but the value and variety more than make up for it. Everything was hot, clean and tasty. We came on a Saturday around 1:30pm. My wife and I went to the Super Seafood Buffet at Karl and 161 today, Saturday September 29th around 1:30pm, and I noticed that none of the food seemed to be hot except for the soup. I tried at least 8 or 10 items, and they were all room temperature at best, and a couple were actually cold to the touch. I stopped eating about halfway through because of it.
