a meal of rice, broccoli, and chicken
    Alexa N.

Ordered via DoorDash to be delivered. We got a general tsao's chicken, beef and broccoli combo, and wor sue gai. Compared to some other takeout Chinese restaurants, this one seemed the most fresh and less artificial (not that it's not). The sauces doesn't look dyed, chicken was crispy, and portions were generous. It is more expensive than a usual take out place so that's the only thing.

Beef chow mein. This is absolutely the worst food ever. I am going to re-order from another restaurant just terrible just terrible.!

I just ordered this from Uber Eats and this is the most disgusting food I've ever eaten not taste no spice no nothing. Boneless spareribs were literally like beef jerky and not in the good way.

We order delivery from here every so often and for Americanized Chinese food it fits the bill. The prices are reasonable and the delivery is pretty fast. I had the Szechuan shrimp. It wasn't as spicy as I would've made it but it was spicy enough and probably too hot for a lot of people. The shrimp was done right and the veggies were just right, crisp tender . My husband is fond of the hot and sour soup and reports his shrimp pad Thai is okay . Okay with a pleasant tone , not a begrudging ok. We had a laugh over the fortune cookies and they sent along plenty of soy sauce for the kids fried rice.

Run-of-the-mill Chinese. Flavor could be better. I got the Hunan chicken, husband got Empress chicken (does not have mushrooms like usual) and daughter got Lo Mein (pictured). She liked the noodles more than other places we have visited. The chicken was not the best quality and had several questionable gristle bits. Price was a little bit more. Would get again but would not be first choice.

Got their menu at my apartment and since it was on my way to where I was going, decided to try. Got cashew shrimp with white rice and a can of Diet Pepsi for under $13. When I ordered told lady I would be eating part there and take rest home. I also let her know that I would need chop sticks. Food brought to table in to go containers. Had to ask for a plate. No napkins was brought with it and didn't see any out on table or order counter. Had to ask for bag and fortune cookie at the counter when I was done with my meal. No one came to check how I was doing. Food was OK for Americanized Chinese. Lots of cashews and fair amount of shrimp. Enough to get 2 meals out of. The place looks a little run down. No fountain pop and Pepsi products only. With the lack of service and those facts, I gave this 3 stars because I couldn't give it 2 1/2 stars that it really earned. Will keep looking for a better Americanized Chinese place close to my place.

    Hunan Bean Curd
    Steve A.

Dragon House is pretty good Chinese. It's better than the average strip mall. The inside is rather nice. It's mostly a carry out business. The food comes out pretty fast. I had the Hunan bean curd. It's about $7 for the lunch portion. There were lots of vegetables. It has a great assortment of bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and others. The tofu was firm without being stiff. It's located a bit aways from me but it's good if you're in the area. The dining area is much nicer than the average strip mall Chinese restaurant. If you're looking for good Chinese in Galloway go to Dragon House. It's great after hiking around Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. They have a pretty good healthy selection.

    Orange Chicken with Fried Rice

How does this place have a 3-star rating? I almost gave it 5 stars. Truthfully, it's 4 star food with 5 star service. Here's what I mean: Let's be honest, you know you're not ordering gourmet food from a Chinese place in a strip mall. But as far as cheap, fast, Chinese food goes, it's easily as good or better than any other cheap Chinese place. But they are also really fast, and really nice. Last time we went there (about an hour ago), my wife ordered the wrong thing. Genuinely, our mistake. But when she called them back, they they replaced the meal, for no charge. Seriously--what restaurant does that? And all of their meals are easily 2 meals. I attached a picture -- I've already eaten all of the broccoli (only about 8 pieces) and at least 20 pieces of chicken from this Orange Chicken. So for like 11 bucks, you're getting 50-60 pieces of chicken, a bit of broccoli, and about a pound of rice. (I did shell out the extra $1.25 for fried rice). And the Crab Rangoon is too notch. Obviously, there are a hundred places like this in every city in America, but if you live close to this one, I'd suggest it over the other ones in the area. (Also, online ordering was really simple.)

    Fried dumplings (don't do it)
    Michaela W.

I have long been a customer and advocate of Dragon House, often vetoing my husband or kids over their favorite Chinese places in town. They were my first Chinese restaurant I patronized when I moved to Columbus and they met all.my expectations. Over the years I have tried better and comprable places but kept coming back to my old standby. But not anymore. I've been sick so I got the standard egg drop soup and threw in a side of dumplings. These dumplings were atrocious. Small, jiggly, and slimy. Believe me when I tell you I rarely turn down a dumpling, and I've never spit one out mid-chew... until today.

Good food good service. No reason to complain. Could have a bit more spice but would purchase again.

It honestly looks like a cruise ship! The food displays are immaculate, and everything looks fresh. I love sushi and sashimi and their bar did not disappoint! Everything was fresh, and the flavors were amazing! I tried several items from the buffets and I don't think I had anything that was bad. They have a Pho and a Mongolian bar and I was too full to even eat from them! The waiter and waitresses were very nice, kept up with drink refills and removing our plates quickly. All very impressive. Not too busy on Friday at 11:30 am but it got busier. Service for drinks was very attentive but almost everyone i saw just got water. I asked about Japanese drinks and the waiter said we go to the front and grab those out of a fridge. On to the food. I started with the sushi of which there was a very large selection of both sashimi and sushi rolls, including several different toppings. I was bitterly disappointed that the taste of the sushi was not good. In fact, I could not even eat it except for the fried items which were good, although not really hot. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I did stuff a couple pieces of sushi in a napkin so that it didn't look so wasteful but really I could not eat it. Unfortunately this was my daughter's first time trying sushi so still not sure if she likes it. Onto the other hot dishes, the Asian food such as general Tso chicken, chicken with mushrooms, and beef with peppers was all very good. However, the fried rice just had some color and onion in it, no egg, no carrots, no peas. And the noodles were very basic but edible. The spring roll was very mushy again could not finish that. At this point, I was kind of over trying to find things that I liked and decided to end with some ice cream. There were just little cups of ice cream three different flavors and this was honestly the best part of my meal. My daughter tried three little cakes and she said they were excellent. I'm not sure about the salads and the fried American foods they had but overall I would just say the quality wasn't something I would go back for. There were people that had been there before, seemed like regulars and even had reward card to punch so maybe certain palletes enjoy it. I do think that the Asian protein dishes were the best part for me but not worth a return trip.

We spent $75 on just three entrées tonight and were given one tiny bag of chips--nothing extra, no salsa, no consideration for the size of the order. A few weeks ago they forgot our cheese sauce, which isn't cheap, and we let it slide. Tonight, there wasn't even an online option to purchase additional items we actually wanted. To make the experience worse, the front desk staff was rude and dismissive when we arrived to pick up the order. No greeting, no courtesy, just a bag shoved at us. For a place we've tried to support multiple times simply because of how close it is, the consistent lack of care and customer service is extremely frustrating. At this point, it's clear: Fiesta Mariachi and El Vaquero deliver far better food, service, and overall value--every single time. We've given Mi Tradicion too many chances, and the quality keeps going in the wrong direction.

I prefer this set up where everyone gets their own pot instead of sharing with the table like some older hot pot styles. My only complaint is that the controls are not on top of the table so if get a smaller table then it's a little tight to change the temperature and you can knock the controller off the place where it's stuck by magnet. Not a big deal because the controller is movable and it's only an issue on a of couple tables. The quality is really good and most of the options are what you would see at other hot pot locations. There is a little more of a Chinese flair as far as sauces and particularly in the flavor of the kalbi. The bar is clean and well stocked which I appreciate. The items on the bar were not the same at each visit but each time fruit, dessert, seaweed salad, and kimchi were included. Most bbq places I've been to make you smell like the food you are cooking, but this place has great vents and I didn't smell like smoked meat at all! It was great. They have a nice selection of meats, and veggies! We opted to try their bbq + hot pot combo and for two people it was really difficult to finish all of our food. Unless you can eat a lot, be weary of ordering both since they do charge you $13 if you have a lot of food left over. I was not a big fan of the hot pot, but I think I ordered the wrong broth and didn't know what sauces to add to make it taste better. Their bbq was delicious and it was so fun to make sauces to dip our meats in before cooking. If you do go make sure you look up what sauces they have beforehand so you can have a better idea of what to expect and make concoctions that you will enjoy. Lastly we really enjoyed their strawberry lemonade and siji bubble tea! This place was not cheap but I would go back for a celebration with a larger group!
