The General Tso's leaned sweeter than spicy, but the chili shrimp stole the show. Huge shrimp, well cooked. I asked for chili oil and applied it liberally until the dish reached proper sinus-clearing intensity. This place clearly does more takeout than dine-in. They seemed a little surprised we sat down, and much of the extra seating is being used for storage, which I discovered on a walk to the restroom. On the way back, there was the unmistakable scent of a sour mop. Nothing shocking, just very on-brand for a mom-and-pop strip-mall spot. Great food, casual atmosphere, minor rough edges. Compared to some other takeout Chinese restaurants, this one seemed the most fresh and less artificial (not that it's not). We order delivery from here every so often and for Americanized Chinese food it fits the bill. The prices are reasonable and the delivery is pretty fast. I had the Szechuan shrimp. It wasn't as spicy as I would've made it but it was spicy enough and probably too hot for a lot of people. The shrimp was done right and the veggies were just right, crisp tender . My husband is fond of the hot and sour soup and reports his shrimp pad Thai is okay . Okay with a pleasant tone , not a begrudging ok. Credit card fraud alert! The past three times I've ordered from Dragon House, I've had fraudulent transactions on the same credit cards used to pay for my orders. I've used different cards each time, and used a different source (phone, laptop, and pc) each time but every single time I order from this place someone has used that same card to make fraudulent purchases. This can only be traced back to Dragon House. Additionally their website has the PayPal icon, however you cannot choose to pay through PayPal at checkout. Got their menu at my apartment and since it was on my way to where I was going, decided to try. Got cashew shrimp with white rice and a can of Diet Pepsi for under $13. When I ordered told lady I would be eating part there and take rest home. I also let her know that I would need chop sticks. Food brought to table in to go containers. Had to ask for a plate. No napkins was brought with it and didn't see any out on table or order counter. Had to ask for bag and fortune cookie at the counter when I was done with my meal. No one came to check how I was doing. Food was OK for Americanized Chinese. Lots of cashews and fair amount of shrimp. Enough to get 2 meals out of. The place looks a little run down. No fountain pop and Pepsi products only. With the lack of service and those facts, I gave this 3 stars because I couldn't give it 2 1/2 stars that it really earned. Dragon House is pretty good Chinese. It's better than the average strip mall. The inside is rather nice. It's mostly a carry out business. The food comes out pretty fast. I had the Hunan bean curd. It's about $7 for the lunch portion. There were lots of vegetables. It has a great assortment of bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and others. The tofu was firm without being stiff. It's located a bit aways from me but it's good if you're in the area. The dining area is much nicer than the average strip mall Chinese restaurant. If you're looking for good Chinese in Galloway go to Dragon House. It's great after hiking around Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. They have a pretty good healthy selection. read more

How does this place have a 3-star rating? I almost gave it 5 stars. Truthfully, it's 4 star food with 5 star service. Here's what I mean: Let's be honest, you know you're not ordering gourmet food from a Chinese place in a strip mall. But as far as cheap, fast, Chinese food goes, it's easily as good or better than any other cheap Chinese place. But they are also really fast, and really nice. Last time we went there (about an hour ago), my wife ordered the wrong thing. Genuinely, our mistake. But when she called them back, they they replaced the meal, for no charge. Seriously--what restaurant does that? And all of their meals are easily 2 meals. I attached a picture -- I've already eaten all of the broccoli (only about 8 pieces) and at least 20 pieces of chicken from this Orange Chicken. So for like 11 bucks, you're getting 50-60 pieces of chicken, a bit of broccoli, and about a pound of rice. (I did shell out the extra $1.25 for fried rice). And the Crab Rangoon is too notch. Obviously, there are a hundred places like this in every city in America, but if you live close to this one, I'd suggest it over the other ones in the area. The food here is very good. We have been regulars for years now. The interior only has about 5 booths and one table but very clean. But they do a tremendous takeout business. We've both eaten in, staff is very friendly, and have ordered takeout. The last time we're there they were getting about 20 calls an hour for an average takeout of about $35-40 bucks. Not bad. What made me retire from this place for good is what happened today. I decided to get the pork and white rice. I told her my order and she was so confused and asked what did I want? I repeated myself, I want pork with white rice. That's it. No veggies at all. Then she said, uhhhhhh what? I said again, I want your pork with white rice and that's it. Then, she said, like the ribs? I got a little impatient and a guy who works there who was kind, he was bald and white. He told her, he just wants our pork mixed in white rice and that's it. She continued to say, uhhhh I don't know. What number is that? I shown her the menu. I think it was 602-605. I said 602, but without broccoli. It said pork with broccoli and white rice. I said I want that with no veggies. Just the pork and rice. After all that, she said what sauce? Spicy or regular? I said no sauce please. Then, she said she was confused again. I walked out and went next door to OH Pizza. I know it could be a pain to deal with certain customers, but I made myself clear and never raised my voice and never went off. I just don't understand how she didn't understand my order and didn't understand her coworker? So much for ever trying something new because I'm done. We really wanted to love Dragon House's food especially after reading all the great reviews. I'm giving it 3 stars because the ingredients were obviously fresh. My husband had an egg roll and Tiger and Phoenix, and thought they were good, but not great. My sister and her husband had Spicy Szechuan dishes, and sadly the sauce was only slightly spicy and VERY sweet ... not what they expected in a Szechuan sauce. I ordered Chicken with Garlic Sauce. What I received was Szechuan Chicken with the sickeningly sweet sauce. Sadly, I don't trust to actually try their Chicken with Garlic Sauce now because I don't trust it not to be sweet. I'm afraid we will go back to driving across Columbus to get truly great Chinese food. You might like Dragon House. As I said, they're ingredients seemed fresh. This is my go-to Chinese spot when I'm on the west side at my partner's house. It is a small, no-frills spot, but the food is pretty good. I always get crab rangoons (yum!) and I switch between lo mein, fried rice, bourbon chicken and pad thai. My partner had pad Thai for the first time here and really liked it. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been too. I normally don't write reviews and have been here many times before however the last three times have been horrible and the food and service suck. We have ordered online the last three times and have waited almost two hours for our food and even after calling to figure out what is going on-our order was not even started. I've had other issues in the past, but today was yet another straw to break the camel's back. The food is always good, but the girl that almost ALWAYS answers the phone is just downright rude. It may sound like a "crazyyyy" request, but I typically ask for 2 duck sauce packets PER spring roll that I order. In the past, they've failed to include those so many times it's unreal.
