Soup city on the salsa! Very watery. Flavor was there but can we get some texture? The fajita trio was good. Atmosphere is pretty cool. Something you come to expect of a Mexican restaurant though.

I live just minutes away from Mi Tradicion, and honestly, this place is a damn disgrace. I went inside to order because I expected fresh, made-to-order food -- not some cold, reheated garbage. What I got looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Everything was cold and lifeless, like they straight-up don't care. I asked clearly for the sauce on the side, and they just dumped it all over my food like they were too lazy to do the simplest thing. The guacamole? Lumpy, bland garbage that tasted like they used unripe avocados and didn't bother seasoning it at all. How the hell do you mess up something that basic? It's clear they don't taste a damn thing before sending it out. And for the prices they charge? This was a slap in the face. I'm sick of wasting my time and money on this nonsense. Won't be back to Mi Tradicion. I'll go to Cincinnati Mi Cozumel Oh I leave on urbanhollow ct in Urbancrest tell me why it's cold on a hot day and you placed the order

It caters to a clientele that's mostly Gen X's with a few Boomers and Gen Y's mixed in. It's definitely an alternative to the typical sports bar scene that attracts the meat market, d-bag, bro and hipster crowd. I've got to tell you that this is a great place to relax after a rough day. If you feel like putting your feet up and talking with a few friends or maybe even if you want to bring in a book and sit and read for a while, there's an uber comfortable love seat and some chairs that are very butt friendly. You can grab a cocktail at the bar or have a seat at one of the tables and order some dinner to be brought over from the attached China Bell Restaurant. The Spicy Crab Rangoon are wonderful by the way... This is a legit cocktail lounge. They have a full bar and Carla the bartender pours a good drink. Their beer selection covers all the basics and they've got a few crafts for variety. This place only has two Yelp reviews even though they've been here for about 2 years now, so I'm going to call this place a true hidden gem. It's one of my favorite places to go for cocktails. Want to join me sometime?

Needed lunch and thought about North High Street, but was not already mentally preparing to fight for parking like it's a Black Friday sale in 2003. Audible called. Swung into Grove City instead. Smart move. Possibly my best decision since I stopped trusting gas station hotdogs. After some extensive research (opened Yelp Columbus judged harshly, moved on), I had three requirements: 1. Not a cookie-cutter chain 2. Somewhere new 3. A menu that wouldn't trigger "I don't see anything I like" syndrome Enter: Broadway Plates & Pints 4008 Broadway, Grove City Grove City is that sweet spot... close enough to Columbus to feel alive, but still has that "people wave at you for no reason" energy. Parked on the street like a rookie, only to later discover there's parking behind everything. If you can't find a spot, just check the rear. Yes, I said it. Walked in, grabbed a seat. Smaller place, but in a good way. Elevated tables, bar seating, normal tables for us normal-ish folks. Big windows for prime people-watching. My dimpled sidekick even got a wave from a random passerby. #Friendly #ShesGotFans Then... plot twist... Cleveland Ketchup Company Ketchup sitting on the table. Didn't even know ketchup could have a hometown. #OH.. All-natural, Ohio-made, no junk. And yeah... it's actually really good. The Bald Bunch supports local, even if it's tomatoes living their best life. Check Cleveland Ketchup Company out. They have plenty of locally sourced condiment options. #supportlocal Server Emma B rolls up, keeps it simple. Water and a Michelob ULTRA for me. Because hydration matters... and so does survival. We were starving, so appetizer time: Fried Mozzarella Triangles Hot, crispy, did the job. Not life-changing, not disappointing. The Toyota Camry of appetizers. Reliable. Gets you where you need to go. Now the menu... solid lineup. Burgers, wings, calzones, sandwiches, enough options to make commitment issues flare up. I was bouncing between a calzone, Italian sub, or burger... Then I saw it... THE KRAKEN And listen... you don't order The Kraken. You summon it. This thing shows up like it just crawled out of the Atlantic looking for revenge: * THREE patties (because one or two is for amateurs) * Bacon * American cheese * Caramelized onions * Onion ring * Steak aioli * Brioche bun * AND a honey butter pretzel sitting on top like a crown Just in case was not already enough calories. This wasn't lunch. This was a full-contact event. Immediately ate the onion ring and honey butter pretzel solo like a savage. Then went to work. Multiple napkins required. Not first-date safe. Not job interview safe. Possibly not OSHA approved. But man... it was GOOD. Patties cooked right. Bacon had that perfect bite. Aioli and onions brought it all together like a greasy symphony. Left full... borderline questioning life choices... but zero regrets. Fries? Solid. Pretzel Topper? Sneaky good. Honestly might go back just for those. Service? Emma B crushed it. Drinks stayed filled, no disappearing act, no "I'll be right back" and then vanishing into another dimension. Now... let's talk price. $54.25 for lunch. Look... I get it. Everything costs more now. But I'm still gonna complain about it like it's my full-time job. Either prices come down or someone needs to give me a raise. Preferably both. And one more thing... Beer was cold. BUT NOT IN A FROSTED MUG. Unacceptable. Somewhere, Congress is wasting time when they could be solving real issues like this. Draft beer should never warm up mid-drink. That's just science. Final Rating: ‍‍‍‍ - 4 out of 5 Bald Heads Pros: * Parking (once you stop ignoring the back lot like I did) * Great people-watching windows * Filling, legit good food * Friendly, attentive staff Cons: * No frosted mugs (we can fix this, I believe in you) * Prices... but also, apparently I just complain now #OldMan If you're cruising through Grove City and want solid food, a relaxed vibe, and a burger that might require a waiver... this is your spot. And - order some Ohio Condiments at Cleveland Ketchup Company. #FreeShipping #SupportLocal #BaldApproved #ReleaseTheKraken

My Husband and I randomly stumbled upon this place walking to Chapman's one night after we were JUST talking to a buddy about how Columbus didn't have any "great" Wine Bars. So the next weekend we had to go back and check it out immediately!! This place is so friendly and cute as soon as you walk in. You can sit at a high top table, blue velvet couches for a more laid back option or the bar if you come alone or with a friend! The second best part about this place is you can order of a menu of curated pre picked wines and crafted cocktails or pop into the wine shop connected to it called Hausfrau Haven. You can buy a bottle there and open at The Laundry and split it with friends or your partner which I LOVE! You could even do your own little wine tasting too if you'd like! Lastly if you need a snack to drink more wine they have great little apps like nuts, cheese and a few more rotting options!! *My only complaint is I wish there was a water station or could get a glass of water. When I drink I like to have access to water and the little mini water bottles don't do much for me and I feel annoying asking for multiple when there* Minor detail and does not detour me from going!!!! Drinks - my husband had a CBC IPA and I had a Spritzer. Appetizer - we went with the whipped ricotta. This was absolutely delish! The whipped ricotta was creamy, smooth, had a lemony flavor with celery leaves and parsley. Seriously, all of the flavors blended so well together! It was also topped with black truffle and honey (from a local vendor)! The sourdough bread that the whipped ricotta was served with was super fresh and warm (and from a local vendor as well)! Salad - we ordered a Caesar salad as well. I thought that it was super nice that they plated the salad on two plates for us knowing that we were splitting it! Super thoughtful! The romaine was crispy (not soggy), the croutons were freshly made, the dressing had the anchovy flavor that I appreciate in a good Caesar dressing, and the salad was topped with a little lemon zest! I will definitely return just for the Caesar salad! Meals - I went with the Rigatoni and my husband went with the Lasagna. We were informed by our server that the flour used for the pasta is imported from Italy and that the pasta is made fresh daily - LOVE this! The rigatoni was SO good! I love that the pasta and shrimp were all cut into smaller bites! The sauce was absolutely delicious! The flavor was like a mix between a thick tomato bisque and curry! Yum! My husband really enjoyed the lasagna as well! The lasagna was plated into little roll-ups which my husband really liked! Will definitely be back soon - we want to check out the patio once we have warmer weather too!

Thqt surprised me - thats 3 chicken breast at the store lol Each time I have sat at the bar - both inside and out (even in winter). Great ambiance. I love the bar inside - gives an upscale 50s diner with great design and mood. The outdoor bar in winter is very nice and warm - haven't had trouble grabbing a seat at either. Bartenders are nice, very attentive and knowledgeable. Parking is easy, there is valet offered. Overall - a bit over priced for generally good food, but a pleasant night out for date night or girls night out.

Pair a stop either before or after to one of German Village's great restaurants and you're in for a special, albeit pricey night. In addition to fantastic drinks, Lawbird offers cocktail tasting classes from time to time which are a fun way to get sauced early in the day. And you will get sauced. If the owners keep up the good thing they have going - this will become an iconic establishment in the city. I hope they do. I've been more than 20 times so far and never get bored. Cheers!

I love TF out of Law Bird, and I love everything they're doing. I have a few qualms about their…read morereservation time limit (which, I will admit, are almost entirely based on the fact I want to try MORE of what they're offering), but I readily recommend this place to people as one of the coolest cocktail bars in town. Cocktail vibe is more "laid-back friends talking over creative drinks" than sultry, romantic date spot. Tons of natural light means this cocktail bar has had some of my *favorite* cocktail bar photos I've ever taken. It's so pretty in here. NOTES: -During pop-ups, walk-ins are near-impossible on weekends and not likely on weekdays. Make a reservation if you want to make sure you'll have a spot. -No dedicated parking lot. 3-hour-limit free residential parking all around Law Bird, though. We generally have to walk 2 or 3 blocks from parking to Law Bird. Be aware this is German Village, and you're looking at cobblestone sidewalks for high heel and accessibility purposes. -Law Bird mostly has small party seating. If you have a larger group you want to seat during a pop-up, make SURE to get that reservation in early. They have the single 8-person table. -They have snackies and food. Portion sizes are small (despite what the prices may suggest), though, so this is not generally a place to eat a full meal. All of the food is super flavorful, though, so definitely a great snack to add on. PROS: -Keeping things fresh, they regularly host cute seasonal events, new drinks, and pop-up events. In recent memory, I know they've done a Cherry Blossom one, a Spooky Halloween one, and a Christmas one. -They go ALL OUT for their pop-ups. It isn't just a brand new, professionally-printed menu (no pieces of paper with 4 seasonal drinks here). It's also all of their interior decor, bathroom decorations, bartop decorations, and more. Ceiling decor too! They get all up in there. It's really fun to see the space transformed constantly. -Between the new menus and the constantly-new decorations of their space, I love regularly popping into Law Bird. -I LOVE the creativity of the menus, and I LOVE that they offer cocktail classes. (I haven't taken one yet, but I'm excited to!) The menu has unique drinks, served with unique garnishes. They have a few "sugar cocktails", but for the most part, Law Bird drinks tend to be complex and spirit-forward. -Their "themed" bathrooms (even with their own themed music playlists) make me happy. They have two unisex, single room restrooms. CONS: -If you come during a pop-up with a smaller group, they will enforce their reservation time limit of 1.5 hours. This isn't necessarily the end of the world, but the times when they enforce their limits is when they have more customers waiting - and tend to be when the place is at capacity. When they're at-capacity, the bar staff and service staff is a lot busier, with drink service taking longer and servers checking in a lot less. This means we usually only have had the chance to place 2 drink orders during that 1.5 hour time limit before they ask us to leave. This can be rough (to try most of the drinks on a limited time menu) unless you're sharing drinks with your tablemates. If you still want to continue your evening with your friends after that 1.5 hour limit, Antiques on High, Daily Growler, and Cobra are easily walkable from here. -During their pop-ups on weekends, time between placing a drink order and receiving the drink has usually been around 15 to 20 minutes. Not the end of the world as you get to socialize with friends, but again, with the time limit, that can be a bit rough.
