You know what... I am going to give this place a fat gold star. I was insanely impressed. I didn't have super high expectations because for some reason "super pets" didn't sound really nice, but boy was I wrong. It is a really nice store, so clean, and they have a great selection. I was coming in to get a tarantula, and they showed us right back and helped us. They had an amazing selection of fish, snakes, lizards, spiders.... I was so impressed! I was like a 4 years old and was mesmerized by everything. Even though the store was closing, they didn't rush us at all. They helped us find a cage, get the things we needed, and get the spider. They were very helpful and friendly. They also have an AWESOME return policy. I bought the spider for a friend, and they said if she didn't like it than we can return it for full refund within 2 weeks. That was awesome. Honestly this is a great pet store. Fun to stop by and look at the creatures they have! But for sure recommend this place next time you need something pet related! read more

I have never been so dissatisfied with a grooming appointment in my entire life. I brought in my pomeranian for a haircut. My exact words were "I want a light trim, nothing close to a shave", and I explicitly showed how little I wanted her to trim it by pulling on his fur. She called me an hour later (which is already suspiciously short for a bath plus haircut) saying he was done. When she gave him to me, she remarked that it was "shorter than she wanted." She had completely shaved my dog, removing his overcoat when I specifically told her to not shave him. I called the manager and after calmly expressing my concerns and asking for a refund she said they couldn't do anything about it. She then had the gall to blame it on me saying there was improper care and matts in my dog's hair when I know for a fact that he does not since I groom and brush him quite regularly and am very meticulous about his grooming. I've also gone to other groomers who have never had this supposed matting issue. Now that I have taken him home, my dog is extremely irritated and itchy, rubbing his face against the carpet to try to alleviate his discomfort. That's the worst part, that I know my dog is in discomfort. I am incredibly irritated by both the cut and the poor customer service. There is no way I am ever going back there again. read more

It's a pet store. I have to write more... If you have been to the chain pet stores, this is just like that, with about the same prices, and similar merchandise. I was on the neighborhood and wanted to get a simple bed for my dog and a treat so he could be calm in my office after a run at the park. They had what I was looking for, it was affordable, and we were in and out. read more

Very decently priced, organized pet store. Paige was very helpful in assisting us find the right product for our dog. :)

This is an updated review. My original review was removed because I referenced a competitor, even though I said I PREFERRED this store. Lets see if this stays or the owner manages to get it removed. A week and a half later and no one in charge of this store has bothered to contact me, by the way. I've been shopping here ever since they opened. I really like being able to support a local business. Until last weekend. I witnessed a horrible situation in the grooming area. I have personally groomed my own dogs for about 30 years; Mini and Standard Schnauzers; I've also groomed poodles for two of my friends. There is never any reason for a dog to be as distressed as what we witnessed. Crying out in fear - I decided to speak to the groomer and she gave me nothing but attitude. "This dog doesn't like it's feet touched, that's why it's screaming". Fine, I have one like that too. There are better ways to manage that than a tight nylon or mesh muzzle that kept the dog from breathing or panting. "Ma'am, do you think you can do a better job?" Yes I do, actually. I finally walked away and decided to leave and call the manager. When I called, I was told that there was no manager, just a "key holder". I could hear the dog screaming in the background; not just yelping but prolonged screaming. Even the person on the phone said "that's some serious anxiety going on". It was so disturbing that I called animal control! Animal control called me back; they had spoken to the groomer, the store owner, and the dog owner. (Supposedly) The dog was deemed "physically in perfect health" which was never the point. The point was that the dog was terrified when I saw it and heard it only yipping. Who knows what was going on when it was screaming incessantly. The owner supposedly knows that the dog is difficult, but I'd have to wonder - did she hear her dog crying out like it did? She was not there, she has no idea. I've since spoken to a manager who does not seem to care. I asked for the owner to call me, but that hasn't happened. With all the horror stories about dogs dying at groomers (usually big chains) you'd think this would be addressed, but no. I will never set foot in there again. read more

I wandered in there recently. It's a small (non-chain) I think. I went today and they had buy one, get 2nd 50% off. They didn't have what I wanted in stock so they ordered it for me and I'll pick it up in a few days. They are super friendly. It's a nice little store next door to Grocery Outlet. They have some cat food brands I hadn't heard of and I've been searching for something new for my newly picky cat. 'll definitely be back! read more

Went in just to browse, and instantly connected with a tiny marbled gecko that Josue helped me with. He offered a ton of helpful advice, as well as the cashiers at the front who very quick to answer any further questions I had. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed without trying to upsell any unnecessary products. The store smelled and looked very clean, and provided a welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk in. I will happily return here to stock up on food/supplies for my pets needs. A+ customer service. read more

We have shopped here for our pet food for over a year. When I went in today, I remembered I had a coupon for a small free bag of dog food with the purchase of a large (a $65 purchase). I was told I needed a physical copy. When i asked if they could please print one, they said no. I kindly asked if they could make an accommodation, to which they made a phone call and said no. I kindly asked again amd was told no and that I might send their computer a virus. From the Fromm's email?!! So much for Small Business Saturday, or customer care. It's just as easy (easier) to shop online and often get better prices but we do our best to frequent local businesses. I'm afraid you have lost a customer with 3 pets who eat expensive pet food. Customer care goes a long way. It's the little things that create customer loyalty. read more

Nice store with a cool variety of reptiles and other animals. Staff was very polite and parking was easy. Big thank you to the chick who grabbed that tank that was a bit too high for me! Definitely will come again. read more

The grooming department here is amazing! Elizabeth is so wonderful and the best with my dogs! I've never been to a groomer nearly as good as her and she treats my dog like royalty! I love this shop it always has crickets for my beardy also they have low prices in every market

We went in to look at fish. The front half of the store looked presentable. Back half not so much. Counted 6 dead fish (and one frog) at the bottom of tanks, one looking like it's been there for a while. I only counted the larger ones and not the goldfish or guppies. Dead cricket carcasses litter the reptile enclosures. The tarantula had an empty water dish. The bottom of dish was still wet which tells me the water likely evaporated over the course of several days to possibly weeks. Other water dishes were near empty or full of dirt/substrate. Two chameleon cages looked okay, the rest seem to have been forgotten. This is not a reptile specialty store where enclosure maintenance would take several hours each week. All of this can be done in less than an hour a week which is obviously low on their priority list. Even Petco and Petsmart have cleaner looking cages. read more

Nice store. Great variety of products. Very helpful caring and courteous staff. Super convenient location.

Super friendly staff, it's all about customer service for this chick!!! They also have pet adoptions once a month! I'll def be back

I've been coming here for sometime now....Always a happy store very inviting. Store offers alot of pet love from its entire staff!!! Treats your pet like it's their best friend visiting! AAA! read more

Very clean and organized store. Lots of more natural options for your dog, I would come again! Nice staff as well!

I have worked in the pet industry for over 17 years and manage a successful independent store. I have also worked at both Petco and Petsmart for a number of years. So I know how it is and what is to be expected. I was in the area and needed to kill time and this place happened to be in the parking lot I was waiting at. Cool, I'll check it out. Most smaller full line pet stores are dusty and cave like, this was not the case. I am a long time fish and reptile breeder and I will say that all the reptiles and fish looked healthy and their cages were clean. Heck even the birds had clean cages at the end of the day, thats a tall order. The staff was busy and not standing around. This is a good thing, lazy pet store employees mean a dirty store. Everyone was working. I was greeted on entry, asked if I needed help and during check out a second cashier appeared immediately so I did not have to wait to be rung up. Awesome store guys, if i have to refer people to a place in Orange Country, I'll send them your way. read more

Super Pets has a dog right there as a part of their signage, but you know what? This place is not just a store for dogs. They actually have lots of stuff for every kind of pet here. I have two cats, so shopping for them, I found the cat aisles towards the back of the store. Dare I say, I think they may carry more brands of cat food and treats than my local Petco. Like others have stated before, this place is super cute, super clean, super organized and the help are friendly, too. I was greeted at the door as I walked in and was checked on once to be sure I was finding everything I was looking for. Located smack next to the Fresh & Easy on the corner of Tustin & Chapman in Orange. read more

I go here for the fish. Their prices and selection aren't always better than the big chains (Petco/Petsmart), but the quality of the fish are much better. I've been in the fish hobby for several years now and have visited many fish stores, this is the one store that always seems to have healthy, disease-free fish. The nearby Petco and some LFS have seen fish with Ich or fish that are very stressed, but the tanks here are always very clean and the fish always seem to be in good health. It's not worth it to get a sweet deal but bring home fish with parasites or sickly fish. That is why If you want to get some fish and this store has it, I would highly recommend buying from this Super Pets. read more

This store is awesome. Every time I've come in the folks are helpful and polite. They carry the duck and potato diet my dog is on, and always have it in stock. Natural balance. Petsmart doesn't carry it, and this location is right across the street from my work. I also enjoy feeding wild birds, and this place carries mealworms, but I've gotten waxworks here before too. Kinda cool. Clean store nice people. I will continue to support this store:) read more

Love this pet store and am glad it is so close to our house! They carry the brand of dog food we give our dog that we often can't find in larger pet stores. We often take advantage their sales they have a couple of times a year to save on dog food. We also pick up our dog's treats here as well. Service is excellent and the staff is always helpful and take the time to answer any questions we have. read more

I swear they never have feeder fish., so today I called ahead to check. The young lady that answered placed me in a brief hold and came back to let me know that they do in fact have some. When I entered the store the I walked all the way to the rear of the store, where the fish are kept. As I entered the area I could hear voices. As I rounded the corner, I found three employees standing very close to each other, looking into the same aquarium all UNMASKED!!!!! They all looked up at me, one young lady set her Gatorade that she was drinking down and walked over as I backed up and she asked what she could help with. The other two employees continued their unmasked very close conversation. Once I reached the front desk I asked for the manager. The young girl that came over did not come across as though anything I said was concerning. This is a serious problem. I bet the owners of that business would appreciate an outbreak and having to shut down! This isn't a joke people. Stop being selfish and placing others at risk. If you care about your health stay away from here! I will be finding another pet store to shop at. If they could be this careless while a customer is in the store, I shudder to think of all the rules being broken when no one is looking!!!! read more

This store is clean and (mostly) well run, with easy access from the freeway to people can easily find it and shop here. The only issues I have are; 1) The prices. The prices are, even for a small feed store, very high. The foods and litters I have gotten in the past run 10% or more higher than other locations I have shopped at. They also do price matching, but for some reason specifically not to stores I shop at (chewy.com has the food I get at $26.99 + 0% tax with free shipping if I buy 2 bags, where this store has it at $34.99 + tax). I will wait a day or two for the shipped items to get to me if I can save something like 25% or more. 2) Making custom orders isn't always guaranteed While the store carries our brand, they do not carry the specific formula that we use for our pets. This means we like to special order the items when there will be some sort of sale/promotion going on and pick up the food then. Only that instead of holding on to the items, they put them out onto the shelf where other people can buy them, instead of holding onto them for us. This has happened multiple times. So even though the staff seems nice and moderately knowledgeable about pet products in general, It is hard to shop here when I buy items on a steep sale, end up still paying more ($3-4) than if I bought them in my normal fashion, it isn't even guaranteed I will get the items I special ordered. Writing this I almost ended up dropping the stars to 2 after thinking back, but it is a nice store, and *some* items are fairly priced. read more

Aside from the fact the guy was distracted with another customer he also stated a policy that we had to have their tank set up before selling us a fish I was prepared to spend over 200 on fish crap for my kids and was going to let them pick out whatever they wanted but this guy was adiment that we have the new tank setup before buying the stupid 12 dollar fish. We already have a dumb tank but he didn't know that, so this store lost out on a customer and a few hundred bucks. Here's a thought guys, don't demand anything of your customers, they ask questions, you answer those questions. In NO way are you in any position to insist on any policy Do your job and get paid, or don't and you'll end up like the pet store that was there before you. read more

Staff is uneducated and do not understand their customers. There with my dog picking up food, 2 other dogs come in barking and growling their heads off. Apparently, they claim they were service dogs, more proof of the fraud in my local community using the ADA laws to their advantage. Service dogs do not behave that way and the staff working the store should be educated enough to ask people to take their bad dog out of the store. We will never be back! Not to mention the parking lot sucks and the way the store is set up, be ready for an obstacle course. Pet Supply Warehouse Anaheim hills so much better! read more

This store is great. Though I am never in this area but when I am, I will be stopping by. They have everything you possibly need. How cute is that. read more

Today which is Dec 31, 2019 around 5:50pm, I went in and asked to see a small rat and a medium rat for my ball python because to see what girth sizes compared to the girth size of my snake. This was at the reptile section and there was one boy working there. He asks how old my ball python was and what length so I told him. Then he recommended a small rat instead of a medium. This mf seems to be in a bad mood or some shit in New Year's Day. He even said the breeder (Meadow Oak Reptiles) i got this from probably lied about the age of my ball python since the size is bigger than a 4 month, so he just decides on his own to put a small rat in the brown bag. I needed to relax and calm down since I don't have to time for this shit. Anyway, so the workers now can mind read the customer's mind better than they know themselves? Customer is always right? For example, If I want cake, I get a cake! Not like, I want cake and they give me burrito since they sayyy it is better. Absolute worst customer service at the reptile section. read more
