However, the technician that I was appointed had no clue how to do a regular mani/pedi. He was clumsy and I felt he was a novice. The manager noticed that I was not pleased and said I could wait for him so he. Oils finish my manicure but I told him it was fine. The young man finally finished and paid and left a tip as well. Kayla was a very nice nail technician. But the location was sketchy, the strip mall was in bad shape. The nail salon was very old and outdated, did not feel pampered at all$. Also I paid $61.00 dollars for a gel mani and regular pedi; which is ridiculous for this location in Flagler. Having a unibrow is not sexy. In desperate need of some fresh clean brows, I came into this place since I was running errands and in the area. Shirley greeted me and set me up in the wax room. Even though the place was packed, I still felt the service was impeccable. Now let's set something straight, I have extremely hairy and unruly brows. For the first time ever, she removed all my hair with one strip in each area. Just one time ! This is awesome for me because people try all the time and have to do the same area three times just to get it all out. That causes rashes and little pimples to pop up. Not with Shirley ! She was so nice and polite that I know I'll come see her more often. I love the shape she gave me and she kept them nice and thick which is what I like. Super nails is a small nail salon locally in Doral. I went here today for a gel mani and pedicure. I'm always a little hesitant on "hole in the wall" places but I seriously enjoyed this place and will be back. Alex did my pedicure and she did not disappoint! The owner and Alex were extremely nice and sweet. They made me feel very comfortable, which is huge because in Miami I've been to some salons that have not made me feel comfortable and that I've actually been harassed from! I also appreciated that the TV channel was in English!! The place was clean as well. When she started my pedicure I of course asked if the tools had been sterilized prior to use. Alex assured me that she cleans them after each person is done! (She was very surprised I asked and asked if other places don't clean their utensils. I had to tell her sadly yes) The pedicure was nice. Included lotion, a callous buffer machine thing, & a hot towel. Although I liked it, it was not what i was used to (in Jax) for the price. To be fair, I haven't found anywhere in Miami that offers what my hometown nail salons do (hot stone, huge towel wrap around, paraffin treatment, 2 exfoliators, 1 lotion, long massages, etc). But, again, I was relaxed & had a nice time chatting and relaxing. Manicure was nice as well. Alex did a great job on my nails and was meticulous in paying attn to detail. Came out to 50$ before tip, which was a little pricey for what was included but I happily paid it because of the nice service and the quality job. Overall, will return and recommend! Also she is the only person there so the waiting is really long and basically if you are five minutes late she will make you wait for a very long time only because u came five minutes or less. I went to this place on Dec 30, the place was pretty empty, and the decor is ok, not as nice as i liked, the person that help me his name is Oroh, or something that sounds similar. I was completely surprised, he takes his time, but I definitely recomend him, pretty good, gives and excellent massages on my feet on a regular pedicure, very relaxing. One star is way TOO MANY! The owner s very unprofessional, unfriendly & doesn't seem to care about acquiring new customers (as most businesses would be delighted). Their prices are very misleading. They keep adding on fees that should be included for the services. It's preposterous ! I came in to do my refill and pedi, after all the up-charges it would be about $90. That's ridiculous for a pedi/refill ! The owner is terrible, she kept rolling her eyes, terrible service. She was not accommodating or professional. I'm in shock that a business can function like this. She was charging $8 to replace ONE nail, she glued the tip on my nail & when I said something about color, SHE CUT IT right off. I used to be a regular customer. I absolutely love Alex and she's been there since the previous owners were. I stayed going when Shirly bought the place because of Alex. Alexandra does amazing pedicures. Shirley does nice nails but the prices for the exact same service VARIES DEPENDING ON HOW BUSY THEY ARE. I have always asked for square nails, last time i was there i was even charged extra for the shape apart from the already high and ridiculous prices. I have always paid $45 for a pink and white. To pay $50 plus $5 for shape when they are slow is just insane. Shirley needs to consider how she tried to charge customers extra for capital gain during slow times as if regulars aren't smart enough to know the differential of extra charges for the exact same service. Ok I really like the quality of the work that the owner does - the other technicians are alright. I would come here all the time and even gave an excellent review the first time ... However they have a practice of wasting my time that is mind boggling . The owner is always busy and if you want your nails done well by her you have to catch her when she isn't busy. Don't make an appointment that won't work either because she tries to squeeze as many people in as possible which I understand. What I hate is that she makes promises she cannot keep- she says they will start your pedicure while you are waiting for your nails - this is a lie do not fall for this scam. This means you will wait 20+ min in a chair (add 10min for every person ahead of you) then they will start the pedicure, then your nails. They are not fast and cheap like the mall . The pedicure is mediocre but not worth the time. It's basically a way to keep you in the shop for 40+min while Shirley can rush through as many nails as possible. It's sad because I really think she is good but I absolutely cannot abide by the policy of telling me "it will be a 10min wait" and the reality of walking in at 6pm and leaving at 8. I just don't value the work that much . Go to the Kendall palms area at least there are 3-4 other places . I hate to leave a bad review but when you have things to do its a horrible time vortex . I guess if you have nothing to do it doesn't matter but me, I can't wait . read more

Both the man and lady working here do an excellent job on acrylics, very neat and symmetric! The lady always listens to what i want. She is patient and delivers the results i ask her for (thin nails, round shape, we design stuff on my nails together). The price is right, reasonable.
