Ok...so I have some mixed feelings about my experience at this salon. It's new, clean, and the staff are very friendly. I went here today with my daughter because my normal salon was booked solid. Overall, not a bad experience but also, not necessarily worth the price for what we got. Pricing is a little bit higher than I'm accustomed to: I got a spa pedicure for $40 (cuticles, callus removal, massage, sugar scrub, hot towels and paraffin wax), my daughter got a kids pedi for $20 (basically a foot wash, clip and paint) and then I had my eyebrows done for $13 - came out to be about $80 after taxes. Yikes...the same is about $20 less at the place we normally go to in HH. But okay...Tiffanie did a good job on my daughter's toes and a fabulous job on my eyebrows. What should have taken an hour took nearly two - and not because they were super busy. Tiffanie started my nails after doing my daughter's, and then hopped around to different customers who arrived before and after me. So I waited a little while and Misty ultimately did my pedicure. Now...she was super sweet, but she too hopped around to different customers. She talked my ear off - I feel bad saying that because she is so sweet, but I'm trying to relax. I didn't know how to say so without coming off as rude. Her overall pedicure job was okay, but the paint job isn't great - even after she cleaned it up. I think she didn't wait long enough between coats and so it's drying funny, and then it's not as neat looking as I would have hoped. All in all...I'm not sure I will be back. This visit was mortifying. I came with my mom to try to take our minds off my grandmothers sudden passing. We showed up for our 3pm appointment. We weren't brought back until 3:30. Someone was getting their nails done by one nail tech. So the man who seemed to be running the front desk started doing my nails at the very last station, which had a layer of powder all over it. My arm rest had nail polish on it, and the vent underneath was yellow and had powder caked onto it. We weren't feeling very chatty, so he asked how we are. My mom told him "my mom passed two days ago" and he starts talking about NATURAL SELECTION??? And how everyone has to die, or we would use up all earths resources. My mom told him she didn't want to talk about it, and then he went on to say that the world is overpopulated anyway, and we need to stop making more people. All the while, he would not stop watching the tv at every available second. I am completely floored. By the way, no one had started doing my moms nails and it was after 4pm. After he put on my third layer of dip, he switched over to start my moms set. He started talking about how his grandfather died two years after he planned and paid for everything. He started asking us when the service was and if she prepaid for her funeral. All the while, he was buffing way too much of her natural nail (because he wouldn't take his eyes off the tv). He told my mom that funerals should be a party, and she shouldn't be sad. Bear in mind, she and I are just sitting in horrified silence. After two layers of dip, he gets up without saying anything and walked to the other side of the salon, gets a drink of water and gets on his phone. When he came back, he told us he turned the ac down. Eventually, when the other person finished her set, I was told to move seats so the other tech could finish my manicure. She was nice enough to apologize for our loss, and left it at that. Once he finished the third layer on my moms set, he abruptly got up again, and just left! I could see that he was sitting on his laptop at the front desk area, while my mom had half finished nails. Once the female tech finished my nails, she asked my mom to come to her table so she could finish the session. Once she finished, we were left to dry. When we went up to the register, it was $50 each. We didn't get extensions or colors that cost extra, and we both have short nails. Any other place in Temple is going to start at ~$35 for dip nails. So we paid extra for an unsanitary salon that was 30 minutes late to start one appointment, and an hour late to start the other. I suppose telling my mom that her mother's death is a good thing was free. Such a horrible experience, and I will never come here again, and I will not be letting anyone I know come here either. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Now let me explain, I have never written a review bad or good, but my experience at this place was awful! And everyday since when I look at my nails I get more and more mad that I had to write something because no one should have to spend a hour and a half watching Top Model while the nail tech that started my nails is giving a pedicure to someone that came in after me. Now if he had done a good job I may have been able to look past the multi tasking or juggling of customer but No! He did not even apply the acrylic properly after butchering my tips by cutting them way to short then continuing to file them even shorter because he tore the tip & had to even it out... during the third time he left doing my nails to do someone else's, I was looking at my unpainted and awful looking nails, I was going to leave then Tiffany luckily noticed how irritated I was & grabbed my color to paint them. They charged me 50$ for shitty nails a waste of my time & I just couldn't let this go unknown so hopefully they can Acknowledge and correct the poor service they gave. read more

This place was HORRIBLE. First of all there were only 2 people working so the wait was way too long. I pointed at the $30 pedi only to be told at the register that I was given the $40 dollar one and that would be what I was charged. The push NEVER dried and when I went back in the shop to show them, I was told it was because it was cold outside. Never heard that one before and I'm pretty sure people in the North have their nails polished. The polish was old and smeared right off when I got home. Worst nail experience ever. Made an appointment and still had to wait forever to be helped. They ignored part of the group completely until they got reminded that they were part of the group. Didn't give anyone any of the services requested, but still charged them for the fancier package. Nail polish shrunk the second I walked outside. Looks like a 3 year old did my nails. I had to wait a very long time since there were only 3 people working. Staff was fast to get everyone done but the prices were horrible. I've never had to pay for shape or a top coat. My nails were 10 dollars over because I wanna we them shaped and matte. Shape,matte,and cuticle oil is 5 dollars extra which is outrageous. That should all be included with the package. I was so excited to try this salon after reading all the wonderful reviews, but was very let down after visiting. The people working there were very friendly, but the service itself was inconsistent at best and very mediocre for the price. My grandmother and I both got the $45 pedicure. As the pedicure was already started, she informed me that they didn't have the leg mask and just squirted some lotion on my legs before the hot towels instead, my grandmother only got the sugar scrub on one leg and didn't even get any massage with the lotion. Misty set a timer for four minutes for the massage on my legs. Four minutes for a $45 pedicure. My grandmother got a design with white polish, which was smeared with the top coat and no attempt was made to fix it. It was maybe thirty-five minutes start to finish, and both technicians immediately started on other people who had been waiting. It really felt like we got a rushed job even though we made an appointment. Very sad! read more
