Slightly higher prices than queens but a much more enjoyable shopping experience. This supermarket is huge and clean. They give you gloves to wear. They have the same selection as queens but I think in some aspects it's even more due to the size. They have a nice selection of cookware too. The vegetables and fruits are about the same price and the quality is great. I love the purple sweet potato. The meat is noticeably pricier than queens. Overall probably the best chinese supermarket I've been to in terms of price, selection, quality, parking , shopping experience. Their food court is nice, a taste of chinatown. The 3 thing over rice is 9 which is pretty expensive compared to flushing but it's worth it for me as opposed to going to flushing. read more

I was a fan of H&Y Mart, then Hmart opened and H&Y went down hill and I start going to Hmart. Since Super FL opened... I realized that the fruit & veggies are better at super FL. But the meat &seafood are better at H Mart. I love both food court at H mart & Super FL, since the super FL food court just opened, and it's the closest Chinese roasted duck near me.. This place is an absolute gem is exactly what Long Island needs more of! The prices are very reasonable and they have a wide selection of both international and domestic goods. I haven't tried their hot food yet but it's cheap and I've heard great things. It can be somewhat disorganized and hard to find certain items at times but if you go there enough times you'll get used to it. Hopefully, more Asian supermarkets start popping up in the area. This review is specifically for the meat department. I don't understand why they won't cut the meat for you. No matter how much you buy, or how big the slab of meat is, they won't cut it. Sometimes I'll let it go because they have a great selection of Chinese groceries. Sometimes I'm annoyed especially when I have to chop the meat myself. Everyone should post a review about this and hopefully the owners sees it and wise up. read more

The Korean community has H or H&Y Mart, the Chinese community has this Mineola market that's as just as well stocked with difficult to find Asian produce and groceries. They also have a big fish market and butcher both having a great selection at fairly reasonable prices. The regular groceries are pricy but the produce and meats are reasonable. I'm looking forward to the opening of their food court. Certainly worth stopping by and recommended. read more

Flushing comes to Long Island, just a little cleaner and a little nicer! It didn't register in my mind that Super FL Mart was an Asian supermarket until one of my partners started telling me about it. I made sure to make a run in next time I was near. The store was clean and the selection was excellent. They have a pork bun with kimchi that was really good. We had one brand of frozen dumpling that we didn't like too much, but they have enough of a selection that I'm sure we'll find one to our taste. Can't wait to go back! read more

This is a big Chinese super market on long island. Selection is great. Obviously not comparable to those in flushing or Chinatown. But u will find 99% of your Asian stuff here Didn't have a chance to try the hot food, I did talk to some staff since I needed help, and they were all friendly and helpful They seem to speak mostly Mandarin, if u soeak Cantonese like me, then u gotta start learning Mandarin! read more

I usually don't review supermarkets (I mean what is there to really say - they sell groceries) but I thought I'd just add a quickie about this place since it's probably a godsend to the Asian and particularly the Chinese community in Nassau County. While most Asian families need to schlep to Flushing to get their groceries, with the migration east on the Island, businesses were bound to follow. The market is very big and the aisles are spacious (a far cry from your usual Asian market) and they have a comparable selection to the large markets in the heart of Flushing. The place (for now) is clean and it has a large parking lot. Prices are a bit higher than Queens but its worth it if one doesn't need to brave the traffic and crowds of Flushing to get groceries. read more

Hooray, a Chinese/Asian supermarket is now on Long Island! I'm always late to the party, my mother had been raving about this store for ages. I finally had a chance to stop by a few weekends ago and was really impressed. Super FL Mart has a great selection of everything your heart could desire. Fresh produce, seafood, meat, dried goods, housewares. Almost an entire row for TOFU. I can pick so many vegetarian/vegan staples here. I'm in heaven. Outside of convenience (parking lot, store is large and didn't feel crowded), the store is clean and decently priced. Second time here, a great Asian market! Superb selection of groceries, fresh fruit and veggies. AND a great food court serving Hong Kong style noodles and soups. Super FL Mart just opened a few weeks ago and they have everything you would expect a full size Chinese supermarket to have and more. They sell fresh produce, fish, meat, seafood. Lots of Chinese herbal stuff you'd want for soups, tea, etc. Dry and frozen noodles, frozen dumplings and buns galore. Everything you need for hotpot is here too with a pretty decent selection. They have candy, cookies, crackers, lots of Asian snacks, etc. They also carry a lot of Korean items and some Japanese items too. I definitely don't need to go into Flushing anymore. The prices are competitive - I really don't feel as if they jacked up any prices vs. other Chinese supermarkets in Queens just because it's Long Island. Right now they are doing a flat 3% discount off your bill, perhaps as a grand opening sale. The parking lot is pretty big but the layout isn't the best. The spaces are on the narrow side for LI parking lots, but at least you don't have to worry about parking. Upcoming is a small food court area. Looks like they're gearing up to sell sushi, hotpot, noodles and that kind of thing. The area is closed off and empty at the moment, but they put up signs for it right to the side of the entrance. Finally, a legit chinese supermarket in long island. I had my reservations at first. I thought that the market wouldn't be as good since it was in LI. After all, the last one that was opened in hicksville (good neighbor) was ghetto and closed down after a year or 2. However, I'm glad to have been mistaken. This place has everything the markets in flushing has and more. Plus it's a huge space where you can wander all the aisles and a massive amount of stuff you may not even find in flushing. One of the nightmares of going to a flushing market is finding parking. This place has a gigantic parking lot and tons of street side parking. That plus the fact that it is only 5 minutes away from my house. If this place stays open, I don't think I will ever go to a flushing chinese super market again :D read more

So happy there's finally a real Chinese supermarket in LI selling fresh vegetables, meats, and seafood (and all the ethnic oddities that your Chinese grandmother would want to buy!) It's clean and we'll maintained and I hope it stays that way. The parking lot is huge which is convenient during weekends. The only ding is for the prices, which is nominally higher than those in Flushing (queens chinatown), and the lack of a decent bakery or hit foods section. There's a part of the store that's still not stocked so I'm hoping that's where they'll put the hot foods section. Overall, this is now my go to place for fresh greens and seafood! read more

Wow, if Walmart had a long distance and more attractive Asian cousin, this Supermarket would be it. The shelves were stocked to capacity and the products are just like the ones you would find in the rinky dinky Chinatown, Flushing and Brooklyn Chinatown markets... the only difference being that you could spend literally hours here given the ~50,000 sq/ft space (used to be a King Kullen, whatever that is). Was there on opening day with my wife and saw that the mayor and deputy mayor (of Mineola), a NYC councilmember and some Congresswomen (?) all turnt up. I've been to my fair share of asian supermarkets and this probably takes the cake. If your out in the neighborhood and need some asian delicacies, its a no brainer. read more

The store has an excellent variety of Asian products which I love! Decent parking lot too. Might be a little smelly primarily because of some of the dried seafood but it dissipate as you pass the dried seafood (by ththe entrance). Fresh veggies and fruits. Cheaper than H-Mart! The only bad experience I had was getting yelled at for taking plastic bags at an unmanned cash register (because I was bagging my own & I was helping an older lady). I didn't know and the bags weren't available for customers to access unlik at H-Mart & American stores. The bags are only accessible by the cashiers. And they don't speak English so it's hard to argue. But I'm happy with the store and the stuff I bough. read more

To call this place a supermarket would be an understatement. It goes beyond super. Super HUUUUGE PARKING LOT too. I absolutely love this place. I could spend a couple hours in there. They have great selection here, from Chinese, Vietnamese, American, Korean, Spanish, and Japanese. The meat and seafood section of this place looks amazing, could make you dizzy that's how large the selection is and you can tell it's always fresh, not sketchy like other supermarkets. They have butchers who will custom cut your meat for no extra charge. The vegetables and fruits are amazingly kept fresh and neatly displayed. There's also a fresh bread select too. You will find anything and everything you need here and not pricy at all. They have plenty of cashier therefore, the line move quickly. Everything is neat and organized. A scratched car door from disorganized shopping carts in the parking lot ruined what was a pleasant visit to this interesting new supermarket. There do not appear to be stations in the parking lot to return shopping carts, which meant, when I was there the other day, customers leave shopping carts all over the lot. Upon going back to my car, one cart had collided with my drivers door, causing several scratches. The store really should have employees periodically organizing and returning shopping carts to prevent this in the future. Aside from this disappointment, the store is very nice. Massive, plenty of selection, and an abundance of interesting international items not normally seen outside of, say, V & T in Hempstead. Prices were on the high side, no sales evident. Will I return? Likely not, until the figure out how to prevent shopping carts from damaging cars. Garden City Food, now known by another name, is far better in terms of produce and prices. read more

One of my favorite places to shop for groceries. Great variety of vegetables and live seafood. During coronavirus pandemic, they have the best precautions for customers. The are the first to require all the customers to wear masks to enter the store, and right now they have people at the entrance taking temperature and giving out free gloves. I do have one complaint about their frozen food. It has happened quite a few times that the frozen dumplings or buns I bought had not past the expiration date yet but already rotten inside. We went here a couple of times to eat at the food court. First we had the 3 entrees, rice and soup for $6.49+ tax. And the second visit we tried the BBQ meat over rice. I am still on the fence regarding the food. Though we are not talking of "hit out of the ballpark" type of food. But the edibility quotient. Yes they are edible. From a scale to 1 to 10, they are a , meh 5. But what makes it even less than 5 is that the whole place is too damn cold! No Heat! There is absolutely no fun eating while wearing a down jacket and hat! If I was camping in the fall or winter then this is to be expected. But not indoors! Just one look at those that work there and you will realize that they do not or never did turn the heat on. I'm sure there are OSHA violations there somehow.
