Love shop delight the deli dept is my favorite. Everything is freshly prepared. Butcher & fresh fish. Lots of fresh veggies & fruits. Bakery is great for their hot bread and pastry. Dried fruit are plentiful as well as spices. The check out ladies are friendly. The parking behind the store is a nightmare so park in the front. read more

I come here often. This review is from a shopping experience today. The prepared food is always very good. Hit or miss with some of the sides but the meat does not disappoint. The staff behind the prepared food counter was very patient with my indecisiveness. However, the cashiers are very unfriendly. I was actually very surprised to see some reviews say friendly employees- I wonder who they are talking about. The cashier never said a word to us. Not a hello, not a thank you for shopping, and not even a you're welcome when I said thank you. It's very easy to spend $100 minimum here. This is the third time I have had issues with the lack of "customer service" in this grocery store. I returned to my house to realize that one of my bags was missing from my purchase. I returned to the store to discuss this issue with the cashier, who called the owner of the store. The cashier came back to tell me the owner is in a meeting and cannot deal with this. I advised her that I am merely missing sweet potatoes, green apples and tomatoes- easily replaceable and fairly cheap. She ignored me. Some employees trying rip off customers ordering kebabs. I ordered 2 strips of kababs with rice that costs $14.99 and instead, the employee gave me one strip of kabab with salad and charging me about $20.00 and keeps miscommunication with me just trying to be a crook. So I left the supermarket to make the employees feel very bad which they'll have a lesson learned. This business should go downhill for good. read more

Surprised by the high rating. I live next door to this supermarket and go fairly often for quick things since it saves me the trip of having to drive to Fairway or Whole Foods. The produce is great here - and the only really great thing here. Delicious and fresh fruits and veggies. The bad? Staff is rude. Some are fine, but a lot seem miserable to be working there and have an attitude. A lot of items don't scan (if you're in the market you'll hear an automated "uh oh" sound come from the register). This is all well and good except I've been overcharged for things more than once. They will sometime put in an arbitrary amount if they aren't sure the price instead of figuring out what the price is. I've also bought their prepared deli meals before and more than once, the food went bad well before the expiration date. If the weather is bad and I need something quick, I'll come here, but other than that I'd much rather make the drive to Fairway / Whole Foods or walk over to Best Market. read more

I'm wondering why the sangak bread uses black sesame seeds instead of black caraway seeds (siah dooneh)? This is the correct ingredient... it is easily attainable and I don't think there's much difference in price. So why use the wrong ingredient? It would make the bread much more delicious, authentic, and special if it had siah dooneh/black caraway/nigella. read more

Went there to buy a few items and the credit card machine broke as they were charging. They had me go to another cashier and charged my card again. I tried to get a refund of my money because I got charged twice, had proof of the double charge via the chase app on my credit card, but never got reimbursed. They have very nasty management staff there. Not helpful at all. Type of people t hat instantly put you down and make you feel stupid, even though they are at fault. read more

Great fruit and vegetable prices and great variety. Great appetizing and rotisserie. Chickens. Great prepared food and quick meals for when you don't want to cook! Grocery prices are high but you are paying for convenience and proximity to the LIRR, it's worth it. Big variety of middle eastern and kosher product, especially Persian delicacies. Fresh baked bread and desserts are amazing too. I have had no problems with customer service and I shop here regularly. I shop here very often. Mainly for produce & fruits. Whenever i needed help in finding something, even tho the employees looked like they are not going to understand me, they do, and point or take me to the product I am looking for. It's a busy & successful store which explains why they constantly need to mop the floor, and organize the goods that just came in. There were time I needed to return goods for either refund or exchange, I found out that it was very easy to do so. read more

We ordered a large delivery for a shiva, and when I called back to get a copy of the receipt, they were so nasty, yelling at me on the phone with the most disgusting attitude, screaming at me that they've sent it over numerous times and that it's my fault if my fax machine isn't working ... other faxes come through just fine. Seriously, never ever coming back here, and never recommending you out to anyone ever. You should be ashamed of the nasty, most rude people that work there. To top it off, we were overcharged for things, and if I hadn't called back for a receipt reprint, we would've never known there was an overcharge. I think this stores is great! the fresh food, vegetables and fruit are excellent. The prices are somewhat high but if you want quality you have to pay for it. However, my one problem is the prepared foods: they contain too much salt. Even if you're not on a low -salt diet, salt should not be added to grilled salmon (as an example) as fish is a naturally salted food and salt can be added at home if it is desired. The store is a treasure for Kosher food and products. Clean, very well stocked. Wish we had one in St. Louis. A ton of prepared dishes that you can take to go as well as huge cheese selection and bakery. Even if you don't require Kosher the selection is very diverse. read more

Stay away from this place like a plague. The owners here are sooooo rude, you can't even imagine. They have no concept of customer service. Their employees don't speak English at all, so asking a simple question like price or anything else is useless. Not just that, I know a lot of people who don't speak English but are pleasant, Not here, here they don't even look at you, avoid eye contact and roll their eyes as if you are annoying them. Horrible vibe in this place. The one lady that does speak English, because I wanted to put an order in, is So rude, approached me with her hands on her hips saying at the top of her lungs in front of everyone "what do you want?", can you believe it? But that goes directly along with the owner/manager, because when I finally called (because nobody knew anything in the store about his whereabouts), it took 30 minutes to track him down, first they "claimed" he wasn't there, then changed their mind, and when finally tracked down was irritated and hung up the phone. This place should have a health inspection, it's sanitary processes are very questionable. I know many people in the area and I and they will definitely NOT be coming here. They obviously don't want orders, don't care about their customers, don't believe in customer service, and that is what they shall get, an empty dirty store. The take out department has so many mouth-watering dishes, from the gormeh sabze to the many varieties of rice and stews that I always visit when I am in the neighborhood on business. The giant four foot laffas, hot and fresh out of their oven are just the snack for the long car ride home. And if you haven't had lunch, they'll grill up a kabob for you from one of many choices. But this is not the star of the show. The AMAZING presentation displays as you walk to the take out department show you just how creative and talented their food prep people are. ten types of chicken poppers, ten types of homemade soup - even real minestrone with the gazillion ingredients required! It makes the commercial minestrones sold on the same shelf pale in comparison. The cheese platters, the fancy bakery cakes and pastries, always make it worthwhile coming and always put a giant dent in my wallet. But when I get home I get attacked by very excited family members who also love their stuff. They make gorgeous fruit platters, some with really exotic stuff, and the colorful veggie platters that look so beautiful, artfully arranged and appetizing, that you can't help but pick one up in the hopes you'll start eating healthy. Sandwiches galore, such that if I am in a rush, I really can't stop in for a quick grab and pay because I know I'll sit there with indecision trying to figure which one to get. Can't eat wheat? They had a watermelon and feta cheese sandwich that made me scratch my head and shrug and say I'd never have thought to put those together, but they made it look so interesting and appetizing, fitting perfectly into the sandwich box, with both sides perfectly evenly cut, with no sign of rot here or on any of the items in any of the platters, that I'd actually consider giving it a whirl. Thank you for this wonderful fun store. I wish you many more years of hatzlocha there. My only gripes are minor. The late night take out counter service is very surly. The prices throughout the store are not clearly marked, and the cashiers are not familiar with the products or prices, so watch the register tape to make sure that neither you nor they made a mistake regarding the price you expected v the price you paid. Register in their customer base at the register BEFORE you check out your stuff, so that you will get credits for your purchases. Afterwards it is too late, and the two times I left them with my info after payment, they never entered my info. Parking is a pain. Expect to find stuff on your own. If you have the time this is actually quite fun, since every time I go exploring there I find new and interesting stuff I have never seen before, and the displays so beautiful it's like waking through an art museum.
