This new bubble tea spot replaced Vivi Bubble Tea (our favorite place for taro & almond milk tea) and since they just opened, we decided to try out their version. The drinks only come in one size but you can choose your sweetness & ice level and add toppings for 60¢ each. We got the taro milk tea with bubble and almond milk tea with lychee jelly. I probably should've went with 50% sugar bc 80% was too sweet for me. At Vivi, I used to get 70%. The taro mt was really good and the bubbles were perfectly cooked. It had a creamy, fresh taste, not made from instant powder and they use lactose-free milk for all their drinks. The almond mt with lychee jelly reminded my husband of an exact replica of Vivi's. He gets it with 140% sugar and loves his drinks extra sweet. Tidal Tea definitely live up to the hype with the quality and unique taste in their drinks. Though, I wish this place had a loyalty card or app like Vivi, KFT or Gong Cha where you can earn free drinks but it does not. The service was relatively slow bc the girl up front is still in training so please be patient with her. She was really friendly and I was greeted upon walking in by the gentleman who was training her. If you're in the Great Neck area and craving bubble tea, try this place out. Can't wait to come back again!

I am a huge bubble tea fan and always love to try new places. Passed by this place in great neck and gave it a try. There was only one person working and waited for a little bit for the drinks. I think the drinks are just meh... asked for 25% sugar level and still tooooo sweeetttt

The make a very nice black tea with passion fruit and boba. Tasty and refreshing lattes! They have games you can play while enjoying your drinks. Seats and tables available. 5.50 for most drinks. Good value for your money. They have rice balls as a meal or snack. Asian snack stand in the corner. Will come back!

Since Tidal Tea is on the south side of the GN LIRR station and I live on the opposite direction, I hadn't noticed they opened up. I actually found out about Tidal Tea through the TGTGapp. The staff seemed pretty close knit as I caught them right before closing and some staff were heading out, making plans as a group. While the staff was making my drink, the owner Kelvin... super chill... chatted me up. He explained they just opened two months ago and their other location is at City College in Harlem... which at first sounded like an odd choice for a boba shop but it makes sense bc he's an alum (CUNY representing). They're still fixing up this new location. They're planning on finishing up the rest of the first floor and opening up the basement level, so it'll be interesting to see what the space becomes. Got two oolong tea bobas and a strawberry tea boba. Since we were chatting, I completely forgot to mention to make it less sweet and light ice (most places make it overly sweet to the point of tooth decay upon first sip and chock full of ice that there is barely any actual drink). However, when I drank it, the drink was near perfect. Also, never been a huge fan of boba (irrational fear of choking on the balls... no comment) and the boba had a good balance between firmness and chewiness. No lie... I ain't gonna share the drinks and save them for tomorrow. On the cold walk back, I stopped off in my building's lobby to snap a pic of my boba in front of the Christmas tree (LOL) and to send to my nieces who I know would love this spot. Finally found a place that makes a boba that I don't always need to remember to tell them to cut down the sweetness and ice... Looking forward to going back... though that'd be a problem if I stopped there on the regular after getting off the train every day. [yeah I know... it's "bubble tea" not "boba"... I lived in Cali way too long and it stuck.]

See photo details on the Oreo coco which is amazing. Service is great as always! Very welcoming store as well for anyone that likes to sit and relax.

Very good oolong milk tea. You could really taste the tea flavor in it and the tapioca was the perfect chewy consistency. The owner is real nice and seems to be really proud of his business as he should be. I've also tried their Lychee yogurt bubble tea. I'm not really a fan of yakult in general so it was a bit tart for my taste but I it was good nonetheless. Can't wait to try their other flavors!

Coffee milk tea insanely good great caffeine kick without the sugar can't go a day without it so pleased to have this place to go to in Great Neck...clean covid friendly...sweet as pie staff that know the menu inside out and have no problem explaining recipes All around amazing experience thank u!!!! Five out of five star rating

Taro slush with Oreo crumbs, pudding and bubbles ON THE BOTTOM!!

Toppings on the bottom! Taro slush or the Oreo slush with Oreo cookies, pudding and bubbles is fire! I always order through the app so it's ready when I pick it up but they're very quick regardless!

    Jasmine milk tea

Drove by for a bubble tea. Got jasmine milk tea and matcha latte. Both with bubbles. Their bubbles are good, chewy but not undercooked. Jasmine milk tea is alright as well. However their matcha latte tastes artificial. It tasted like those matcha milk you buy in Chinese supermarkets. Their sugar consistency is off too. I got both drinks for 30% sugar, Jasmine milk tea taste pretty much sugarless while the matcha one is still so sweet.

Japanese Matcha Latte add Tapioca Bubbles
    Reva W.

Ordered an iced matcha latte and added tapioca because this is my go to when ordering from a new place. The matcha was good, but if you order from here I would stay away from the tapioca. It was stale or something it was very hard, which I've never experienced anywhere. But the rest of the drink was good so I'll give it another try just without the bubbles lol!

Folks, iam not cheap or watch how much I spend when we go out to eat but I refuse to be taken advantage off of what I get charged. The hash browns were also very expensive and the two strawberries on the waffle were $7.the Nutella swirling was also a $7 charge. Fast forward to last weekend, when I bribed them with a promise to visit a Mr. Beast Burger on a visit to Queens. I looked up nearby locations on its website, and the first location we tried in Port Washington appeared to be an incorrect address. We ended up selecting the Great Neck location next, which is actually the address of the Inn at Great Neck. The bartender at the hotel confirmed that they provide Mr. Beast Burger meals but said I had to order online. The website for the popular YouTube influencer didn't allow a pickup order here, so I asked the bartender again. He didn't know and turned instead to the person at reception, who told me I could download a meal delivery apps (which I decidedly don't use because of the fees they charge independent restaurants) and select the pickup option. I did that, but it took about a half-hour longer than the app said to have my meal handed to me, although it's possible the bartender didn't know to check. (There were two other people at the bar, so it's not as if it were that busy.) Limited to one order each, my kids ordered the grilled cheese, whose greatest innovation is being made with one half of a small hamburger bun placed upside-down, and the fries, which were cold and slightly soggy. Neither order was exceptional in any way or of any notable quality. Like I said, the guy is a marketing genius.

Note: They don't open until 5. The burgers all consisted of two patties and were all cooked decently on a soft bun with some crispy edges, which reminded me a little of Shake Shack. Even the french fries tasted like a variation of Shake Shack that just met expectations. I prefer the unseasoned fries over the seasoned. All the food can be considered mediocre without anything special that stood out. If you're craving a burger without any additional frills, MrBeast Burger is worth a try.

My client is diabetic so ordering and reordering is easy thanks to this. There is a fair range of selections of entrees in the way of protein and vegetable sides. The owner operates with unethical business practices that I witnessed firsthand, and it has been a truly frustrating experience. On multiple occasions, vendors who provided services were ignored for months after submitting invoices. Despite repeated follow-ups, the owner would often promise payment by the end of the day, only to fail to deliver, leaving vendors in difficult situations. The company's service is subpar at best. Clients only continue to work with them because of artificially low prices that the owner uses to undercut competitors, even though the quality of work reflects those low prices. The owner constantly obsesses over high-quality clients but will never reach that standard, often making mistakes that have to be corrected and then blaming employees for the errors. As highlighted in previous reviews, the owner also refuses to pay employees as promised. Despite assurances of payment, he would vanish and leave employees without compensation. This unprofessional behavior, combined with the lack of an HR department, makes for a toxic environment. Also makes inappropriate comments during company meetings that make you uncomfortable so you have do an awkward laugh because there's no Hr department to go to.
