Tucked in a nondescript strip right off Glen Cove Road, this market would be easy to miss. It's a small specialty market that has groceries, meat, seafood, poultry as well as cooked food and a deli. They also have a cafe where you can eat their food in the back if you're so inclined. Stopped in to grab a few sandwiches and we were not disappointed. The menu has a large range of offerings but everything was freshly made and tasted good. My personal favorite was the mangiare (pastrami on a roll with cheese and russian dressing). The staff here was excellent and prices were fair. A good place to stop by if you need to grab a quick bite if you're in the area.

    Graces market.

This place has lots of cheeses, deli, bread, lean meat, and has something tempting in every department. The place is cool and the manager that was there was super friendly and helpful. Tons of salads in the deli. They have a cool café in the middle of the place for lunch. Stools around a bar sort of. If your a carnivore..... their "90%" sirloin is genuinely lean and they grind it themselves... super lean... could actually exceed 90 - I never read the package.. I look at the color... (Have you ever been in a Walbaum's and seen their "93%" it's pink and looks like 70% - think about what that means for your heart) They have Italian and French bread and some flavored dinner rolls- a bit spongy but the girl is super nice.. Not crispy etc.. One warning: *** They tried their hand at a display of fill a bottle from kegs of Olive oil.... and Balsamic vinegar... They have three olive oils... Italian.. Greek and Californian............. tried the Italian one... ********Stay clear..... felt like something bad happened after the tiniest taste from a mini spoon. HORRID. Not sure how bad olive oil tastes until today because I have never experienced it.. ... the suppliers have buffaloed poor Graces buyers! Hideous!! beyond explanation. Terrible.... Bitter off grassy metallic greasy taste that wouldn't go. All in all I liked that it seemed like a cleaner fresher better version of say a Christina's epicure etc... less aging salads, fewer but many fresh choices. So it's a good place to for all kinds of take home.

    Yumms

Come and eat this burger. ( graces burger ). It was delicious and so is the rest of the store . They literally have everything and it's top quality. If you can't afford, don't bitch about it . Bc it will cost you $$$. But after all , you can't take it with you. Come and indulge ! You deserve it

Hidden gem for breakfast! The very best wraps ever!! The chefs at the counter are great-. I get my usual egg white mushroom broccoli with itsy bitsy amounts of cheddar. Delic! I love it so much they may add to menu "Connie's wrap"!!

    Imported olives from different countries

I was searching for high end items like caviar so I didn't need to got to NYC. My husband mention Grace Market online and went in person to check it out. Was the best decision I ever made. I met Rosemary (the lady that takes care all the catering orders) and Mr. Rusty (amazing person!!!! show me around the market, and best imported quality cheese, Foie gras, Pate, caviar, pasta, olive, aged steak ,& black truffle (all high end items you need in one place!!!) I love this place and will go back again! They delivery locally too!!!

We ordered the bronzino and steak and especially the steak was incredible. We also had the fall salad which they had thoughtfully put in two plates. Again amazing perfection of taste with crunchiness of the roasted nut. I'm not drinking alcohol right now but they had two zero proof wines from Tuscany that was pretty good. Overall my experience was 10 out of 10. Really impressed.

Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, which obviously isn't the restaurant's fault. What WAS incredibly disappointing was their solution: instead of seating us inside the actual restaurant, they walked us over to a completely separate, off-premise catering room nearby. We were literally the ONLY people sitting in this random room. It felt like we had been removed from the restaurant entirely and stuck in an overflow event space and not exactly the birthday dinner or Felice experience we made a reservation for. What made it worse was the host's attitude. Despite there appearing to be plenty of available tables inside the actual restaurant, she flat-out refused to seat us there and essentially told us we could either sit in the catering room or go somewhere else. No apology, no attempt to accommodate us, and honestly just incredibly dismissive and rude. It was such a bizarre and unwelcoming way to treat first-time guests. The food at least started off strong. The bruschetta and eggplant were both great! For dinner, we had the chicken Milanese and cacio e pepe, and neither was anything special. Our server was nice and the service itself was pretty good so I don't want that to go unnoticed BUT being shoved into an empty catering room and basically told to take it or leave it by the host completely overshadowed the rest of the night. For somewhere we were genuinely excited to try, it was an awful first impression and definitely not the experience we expected.

WARNING: Extremely disappointing and potentially unsafe experience…read more I rarely leave reviews like this, but people need to be aware of what I experienced at this deli. I bought the cocktail shrimp ($12 for half a pound) and was shocked. The shrimp had a greenish discoloration on the sides, was extremely stringy, and had an off smell. It did NOT look or taste fresh and honestly raised serious concerns about quality and storage. When bringing it to the attention of the cashier she replied "Ella no quiere". Bringing it to another person attention "what happened" Ella no quiere again. It's not that I don't want it. It was disgusting they were selling green shrimp. The gentleman at the counter was very sweet, but even if he gave me a fresh one, it would've been from the same green, stringy batch regardless. They should absolutely not be serving this especially on the Fourth of July. I also tried the lobster salad ($22 for a small half pound), which was basically mayonnaise with corn and celery and only a few tiny pieces of lobster. nowhere near worth the price. The chicken salad ($12.99) was even worse. It was oily, unappetizing, and looked like it had been sitting out for a long time. Easily the worst chicken salad I've ever had. Look at that oil! Overall, everything I purchased felt low quality and questionable in freshness. I was genuinely disgusted and surprised a place like this would sell products in this condition. I would strongly caution others before buying seafood or prepared foods here. I will not be returning.

Before I go to a new grocery market to shop, I am not looking for price comparisons, I don't know exactly what I am looking for, maybe a sale on a mystery pallet liquidation of foods as shopping among people in tight confines is becoming more and more unpleasant. I would roll the dice and see what I get, like a gameshow - the showcase showdown. So I typed into a search "Long Island Grocery Stores" hoping to find some information that would keep me from my new phobias and here is what I got instead. 1. Shootings in the parking lots 2. Workers beating pork against the ground 3. Big stores buying the smaller stores and the accompanied protesters and some weird woman with a bleached blond helmet head that is a psychic(?) I saw someone with a salted and sweet-butter sweatshirt shopping the other day, she was in aisle 3 and breathing really heavy in front of the Redi Whip and talking muffled into her phone, she sounded like a dying saxophone. Being the overworked owner of a new business that focuses on gardening, I look to the produce first - Bell Peppers, 99 cents a pound, broccoli and eggplant the same - but I had to take a peek, just a little peek at the meats and a rumble began in my tummy. Porterhouses, ribs, and brisket will run you $8.99 to $10.99 per pound -- more for what they consider the better stuff - they never show those in their circulars. I talked to a neighbor that I was trying to avoid, she's a loudspeaker chattering whiny little bird but she is nice enough and means well. She saw me and cornered me to tell me about man and god and war and food prices, so i faked a smile and excused myself to get to the checkout line that gave me additional feelings of dread as the lines were long and slow. I took a deep breath and held it, I wondered if I could passout under the bright lights and get away from this experience as quickly as possible. Instead I resorted to steady breathing and went about the overpaying experience.

I love a fun and unique ice cream flavor, so I went with Honey Lavender and Lemon Poppy Seed. Both were so incredible! The lavender was not too floral-y and the honey flavor came through very clearly. The lemon was bright but creamy, not sour. The poppy seed added a nice crunchy texture.
