Went here all the time when I lived in NY. The battle for a parking spot is rough on the weekends, but it's still the best Grocery Store near me if you don't want to pay the premium prices of a Whole Foods or a smaller market. The place is always clean and the employees are always helpful. They have most everything you could want. I love their seafood section. Used to come here and get lobsters for lunch all the time. They would even cook them up for me. They were a very good price too. The bakery section is something I would try to avoid at all costs because everything always looked so good. I especially loved the fresh donuts and bread here. They make the best French baguettes. The deli is pretty good too. There's so many delis in the area though that I have to say I've only come here once or twice for something I wanted. Overall, it's a very reliable grocery store and is almost always fully stocked with whatever you're looking for.

Today is August 10th, 2017 This expired Dec. 26th 2016. You're telling me not one clerk checked within the last 8 months?

I went food shopping on Tuesday. Noticed there were alot of items that looked a bit suspicious... bought this Betty Crocker whipped frosting from King Kullen. I opened & we agreed, it tasted funny! Looked at the exp. date below... what! Dec 26th,2016 Today is Aug 10,2017. Are you trying to kill somebody??? They had milk on their shelves that expired a week ago! Get your expired sh*t together!

Order from the deli and they let you know over the loudspeaker when it's ready . Tre cool

They are revamping their look and I'm thrilled. I come from miami where shopping for food is a pleasure in places that are spacious, CLEAN, uncrowded even at high traffic you have room to move. This is the ONLY market that I feel respects the clients need for elbow room. I've witnessed cart rage in Whole Foods, Waldbaums and fairway for that reason. Moreover, new shopping carts AND self check out counters! Will be coming more often. BUT would really love an expanded organic section :)) and what's up with all the plastic bags??? You know that is what is holding you back from five star ratings. Hope KC mgt reads this.

Everything here is over priced. Sometimes by a lot. Most people in town don't care much because it's conveniently located. Started going to Whole Foods for my organic stuff, and stop & shop for my non-perishables. Also they are very lacking in common health food trend items like kefir.

A staple for me in the area. I normally grab something here for lunch since it's cheaper than having to order something and paying extra for a delivery charge. It's a nice huge space and the variety is next to no other in the vicinity. I normally grab something from behind the deli counter than what's been pre-packaged. The Chicken burrito dinner was kind of lack luster, the taste was bland all around and they only had like 4 pieces of Grilled chicken in the burrito.

I found it this way Happy Mother's Day

Shopping has become a high intensity mental workout for me, I used to get hungry when I food…read moreshopped and now I completely lose my appetite and feel a food borne illness slowly creeping into my body as I enter. Before I go to a new grocery market to shop, I am not looking for price comparisons, I don't know exactly what I am looking for, maybe a sale on a mystery pallet liquidation of foods as shopping among people in tight confines is becoming more and more unpleasant. I would roll the dice and see what I get, like a gameshow - the showcase showdown. So I typed into a search "Long Island Grocery Stores" hoping to find some information that would keep me from my new phobias and here is what I got instead. 1. Shootings in the parking lots 2. Workers beating pork against the ground 3. Big stores buying the smaller stores and the accompanied protesters and some weird woman with a bleached blond helmet head that is a psychic(?) I saw someone with a salted and sweet-butter sweatshirt shopping the other day, she was in aisle 3 and breathing really heavy in front of the Redi Whip and talking muffled into her phone, she sounded like a dying saxophone. Being the overworked owner of a new business that focuses on gardening, I look to the produce first - Bell Peppers, 99 cents a pound, broccoli and eggplant the same - but I had to take a peek, just a little peek at the meats and a rumble began in my tummy. Porterhouses, ribs, and brisket will run you $8.99 to $10.99 per pound -- more for what they consider the better stuff - they never show those in their circulars. I talked to a neighbor that I was trying to avoid, she's a loudspeaker chattering whiny little bird but she is nice enough and means well. She saw me and cornered me to tell me about man and god and war and food prices, so i faked a smile and excused myself to get to the checkout line that gave me additional feelings of dread as the lines were long and slow. I took a deep breath and held it, I wondered if I could passout under the bright lights and get away from this experience as quickly as possible. Instead I resorted to steady breathing and went about the overpaying experience.

Duracell and Energizer, which last longer with so many promises made to us over the years by the manufacturer. I think the older ones lasted longer and they were in smaller packs that now hold twenty or more. I see off brand batteries, Walmart has theirs and Stop and Shop has a off brand that they sell and its close to half the price of the afore mentioned. What happened to the battery checkers of years gone? Even one volt allowed up and can power a little flash of the light or a few more clicks o your remote, You just placed the contacts in correct polarity and squeeze.. I am harping on batteries now not because I am getting back into toys but I had a problem at the my girlfriends house of a kitchen sink. With little interaction I am not a fan of motion activated touchless faucets, when batteries run out, you can not use it like a regular faucet. A kind management man that greeted me very quickly upon my reaching the customer service counter wasted no time to escort me to the proper area and stayed a bit to chat about this situation I found myself in. I have not purchased more than that at this Stop and Shop location, the one in my neighborhood is in a hole and I just do not enjoy shopping subterranean. I hope to return soon and explore the aisles and shop with the same kind of happy customer happiness I just left with.
