Haven't been to 16 Handles in possibly over a decade, but it's great to see the OG in the Frozen Yogurt space is still as amazing as I remember! The flavor options were plentiful - including a bunch of oat milk options if that's something you're looking for - and the toppings were premium! Full size black and white cookies, do cookie dough balls, and so much more! 16 Handles is still definitely at the top of their game, and this location was an excellent one! read more

Great flavors, Great topping choices. Nice staff. Will be coming back. Enjoyable experience.

With all the hot new (and come-and-go) trends in the frozen treats market, It's been forever since I've been to a fro yo place! Boy did I miss the good ol days of late night (or all day) froyo runs! So many options, so of course I had to try them all ! The fruit flavors are very refreshing and the peanut butter/ chocolate / cake flavors are very decadent! Just the right balance of sweet and tart! read more

Amazing! I'm really glad my friend convinced me to give this shop another try. This store has gotten it together! I stopped coming here two years ago because it smelled bad and the staff were so rude. l was so pleasantly surprised to see the changes here- friendly staff with name tags (Shoutout to Ashlee and Douglas!) who not only were friendly but actually took the time to answer allergy questions. They cleaned up the store a bunch since my last visit. Gone is the dingy cheap furniture and dumb, dark lighting. The blue vibe is SO much more welcoming than the vile green and the store smelled like caramel! The soundtrack was fun too. Idk if they have a new creamery or maker, but the froyo was fresher and tastier than the crap I had here years ago. The fresh cut fruit was better than the nasty frozen stuff I remember. The new owner got this right! I will definitely be back! read more

The customer service was excellent especially outstanding from the employee "Nico" very good place read more

Amazing amazing store, been going here since the Great Neck one closed. Great options, scenery gets festive with the store on holidays, and the owner is a great guy. Highly recommend read more

I went to 16 handles in Port Washington one weekend. I was feeling down and was having a bad day. I went in to get some frozen yogurt to cheer me up. A young kid approached me. He asked me my name and I asked for his. He said his name was Will. He could tell I was having a bad day and he started showing me his new flavors. something about Will really cheered me up. I will never forget the great service that Will gave me. I am very happy that I stopped in that day. read more

Excellent, tasty selection. Very friendly staff. Especially appreciated the very clean facility.

Absolutely disgusting. Without exaggerating, the filthiest fro-yo place I've ever been in. Saw multiple violations when I was there and they had their kitchen door propped open, including food being stored on the dirty ground. Maybe the owners should spend less on gimmicky claw machines and hire some deep cleaners. read more

Tasteless icy nothingness... and super expensive!!! I used to get 16 handles in Great Neck and Jericho and it was delicious. What a waste of calories and money!!! This 16 Handles is a loser!! read more

Always love 16 Handles but especially this location. It's clean, staff is friendly, they always have yummy sorbets on hand, and the toppings are always fresh. Just recently they had some new toppings, like mini black and white cookies (!!!!) and waffle cone pieces. Love their coconut sorbet! read more

Saw a COCKROACH ON THE YOGURT MACHINE! Gross. Also, signs posted everywhere for "Free WiFi" and there isn't ANY. Girls behind counter just shrugged shoulders. Bathroom was DISGUSTING. Filthy, even though according to the sign on the door, it was supposedly "cleaned" 3 hours earlier and there's was NO TOILET PAPER. read more

Finally, 16 Handles opened its doors in Port Washington after months of teasing with the signs. A frozen yogurt heaven where creativity can equal countless possibilities and one may never be bored. With ample seating space in the front and a few tables towards the back entrance, mixed with the signature lime-green decor, 16 Handles offers (addicting) different flavors on any given day along with topping varieties, such as fruits, cheesecake, cookie dough and brownie bites, not to mention rainbow cookies (and a lot more to list) and assorted sauces to cover the unique creations. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and quite active in not only helping customers but also keeping the place spotless. Overall, a frozen delight not to be missed in a great environment.... My favorite flavors are the red velvet, go bananas, cookie & creme, along with lychee, cheesecake and cookie dough bites... *** On a side note, i first visited the 16 Handles location out in Syosset and found myself addicted to the frozen yogurt Heaven, and now to have it in the same town, i feel my 180+ pound wt. loss may be in danger... lol, but so worth it...*** read more

Great place to come during the summer or even winter. I think I like this location better than the great neck location, but the space is small so there's not much room. Overall, good flavors! read more

I've tried a lot of places like 16 handles but this place is top notch as far as flavor , toppings selections and the friendliness of the people who work. I'm totally addicted. I'm here 3-4 times a week. and on my birthday ,It was free read more

I really like it here and probably come here every time I'm in Port Washington! It is fun to make your own flavors and get your own toppings and it's just a good little treat once in a while! The one thing though is, the last few times I have been here the person who is supposed to be at the front is in back doing something, so I end up having to wait a long time. But, besides that I really like it here read more

Tasty. Variety of toppings. Sample cups. 5 people cost 35 dollars. Not totally crazy when you consider the options. I'd go back. read more

I was pleasantly surprised! I'm a TCBY kind of person, and I had a froyo craving. My grandma suggested 16 Handles, so we gave it a shot. The decor is what I consider "typical froyo"--modern and sleek. The yogurt flavors were displayed on little screens above the handles, which I wasn't overly fond of, considering the nutrition was there too, and seemed less healthy than TCBY (we're talking saturated fats here). The froyo was good, but not great. It was really creamy and just didn't feel like froyo, it felt like froyo trying to be ice cream or something. Eh. The red velvet was pretty good. Toppings were alright, although some of my favorites were missing, and they didn't have the hot fudge/caramel toppings I so love. Service was good, although I don't understand why each cup has to be measured one at a time. Everywhere else I've been, you put the cups on the scale, and done. Here, it was one cup, weigh, next, weigh, next, weigh--it just seemed counterproductive and unnecessary. Oh well. 16 Handles is probably the best froyo in the Port Washington area, but there's a TCBY in Garden City...yum... read more

A $10.00 gift card was mailed to our office to make up for the mistake.

Took my daughters here on Monday. Very clean establishment. We love the cake batter flavor!

My husband ordered the vegan ice cream as I am severely allergic to diary and did curbside p/u.. i start to eat it and realize it tastes really "milky" to me and call the store to make sure I was given the right ice cream. I was told sorry the girl that made it was new... well I'm allergic to diary and thankfully had steroids on me to take after eating this. When you offer different choices for people with possible food allergies your staff should be trained to make sure to read the labels and re read them. God forbid my allergy was any worse or it was someone with a nut allergy. I've called the store now 2x asking for a manager and haven't gotten a call back. Just disgusting and I will no longer go there! People with allergies BEWARE read more

I am a huge fan of 16 Handles but am shocked by how dirty and poorly run this location is. I attempt to come here each week with my children who take a class nearby, and it seems the floor is NEVER washed. You can hear the sticky noise as you walk through. The toppings are messy, and so are the yogurt dispensers. My daughter also saw what looked like a small roach on one of the dispensers. We also frequent the location Jericho Turnpike which is always clean, fully stocked and well-organized. I don't know if these two locations are owned/run by the same person but this one definitely seems totally unsupervised. 16 Handles is such a great product, and has so many great locations, so this one really should get its act together. read more

I like this place but they don't keep it clean anymore. Tonight I saw a roach by the toppings. I think it's time to find a new place to go.

Love this place.. Fruits always fresh.. New flavors!! Clean, nice employees.. Friendly.. Can't go weong

I love 16 handles! And this location is great, the employees are very friendly and always try to make sure your satisfied. The location is very clean and there's a large parking lot in the back for the shopping complex. This location does have room for you sit down and enjoy your yogurt read more

Finding vegan desserts isn't easy. Their key lime sorbet and mango sorbet are fantastic! I have to admit, the key lime is my new favorite, with its perfect tanginess. Couldn't resist topping my sorbet with blackberries. Mmmmmmm! Happy spring! read more

To be fair their products are good, but sometimes the pricing gets ridiculous. For example, We got a small size cup (the pink one) we got the usual which cost $5 dollars today he (not sure if this person works there, he wasn't dressed like the rest) then charged almost $9 just for one. I find it very upsetting the response I got when I asked why was it so much, I didn't wanna make a show bc we knew some ppl there but definitely not going back. read more

today i went with my dad we made four orders since it's not self serve anymore because of covid. the girl who was helping us was blonde and wearing a sea cliff beach shirt, i didn't see a name tag. she seemed so agitated and short with us.
