Amazing! I'm really glad my friend convinced me to give this shop another try. This store has gotten it together! I stopped coming here two years ago because it smelled bad and the staff were so rude. l was so pleasantly surprised to see the changes here- friendly staff with name tags (Shoutout to Ashlee and Douglas!) who not only were friendly but actually took the time to answer allergy questions. They cleaned up the store a bunch since my last visit. Gone is the dingy cheap furniture and dumb, dark lighting. The blue vibe is SO much more welcoming than the vile green and the store smelled like caramel! The soundtrack was fun too. Idk if they have a new creamery or maker, but the froyo was fresher and tastier than the crap I had here years ago. The fresh cut fruit was better than the nasty frozen stuff I remember. Saw multiple violations when I was there and they had their kitchen door propped open, including food being stored on the dirty ground. I was pleasantly surprised! I'm a TCBY kind of person, and I had a froyo craving. My grandma suggested 16 Handles, so we gave it a shot. The decor is what I consider "typical froyo"--modern and sleek. The yogurt flavors were displayed on little screens above the handles, which I wasn't overly fond of, considering the nutrition was there too, and seemed less healthy than TCBY (we're talking saturated fats here). The froyo was good, but not great. It was really creamy and just didn't feel like froyo, it felt like froyo trying to be ice cream or something. Eh. The red velvet was pretty good. Toppings were alright, although some of my favorites were missing, and they didn't have the hot fudge/caramel toppings I so love. Service was good, although I don't understand why each cup has to be measured one at a time. Everywhere else I've been, you put the cups on the scale, and done. Here, it was one cup, weigh, next, weigh, next, weigh--it just seemed counterproductive and unnecessary. My husband ordered the vegan ice cream as I am severely allergic to diary and did curbside p/u.. i start to eat it and realize it tastes really "milky" to me and call the store to make sure I was given the right ice cream. I was told sorry the girl that made it was new... well I'm allergic to diary and thankfully had steroids on me to take after eating this. When you offer different choices for people with possible food allergies your staff should be trained to make sure to read the labels and re read them. God forbid my allergy was any worse or it was someone with a nut allergy. I've called the store now 2x asking for a manager and haven't gotten a call back. I am a huge fan of 16 Handles but am shocked by how dirty and poorly run this location is. I attempt to come here each week with my children who take a class nearby, and it seems the floor is NEVER washed. You can hear the sticky noise as you walk through. The toppings are messy, and so are the yogurt dispensers. My daughter also saw what looked like a small roach on one of the dispensers. We also frequent the location Jericho Turnpike which is always clean, fully stocked and well-organized. I don't know if these two locations are owned/run by the same person but this one definitely seems totally unsupervised. 16 Handles is such a great product, and has so many great locations, so this one really should get its act together. read more

To be fair their products are good, but sometimes the pricing gets ridiculous. For example, We got a small size cup (the pink one) we got the usual which cost $5 dollars today he (not sure if this person works there, he wasn't dressed like the rest) then charged almost $9 just for one.
