H Mart - Williston Park is one of my go to H Mart locations. There are plenty of parking spaces. I enjoy H Mart's banchan (ready to go side dishes), marinated meats, fresh produce, and so much more. Aisles are always stocked and organized. Though this location does not have a food court or an on-site bakery, it is still a great H Mart to visit. I recently learned about the Ottogi Jin Ramen x BTS Jin collaboration that features special-edition packaging and exclusive, limited-edition Jin photo stickers. I had to look for it at H Mart - Williston Park and successfully found it. Jin Ramen comes in mild and spicy flavors. It features soft chewy noodles in savory beef-based broth with nice flavor. This is a great H Mart for weekly groceries. read more

This location shares the parking lot with other stores. It's not a huge location like LIC or Jericho though it's bigger than the Woodside location. You have to know your prices. Some items are more expensive than other stores. Other items are comparably priced. They have the items you are looking for though it might not be a big selection. Checking out was easy and quick. You don't have to wait a long time despite a limited number of checkout lines opened. There is no on-site bakery nor café though there are stores nearby so it wouldn't have made sense to have them. I'm so happy this H Mart is located where it is--so convenient for me! Otherwise, I'd have to drive all the way to Flushing or Jericho... yikes. I usually shop here for banchan, frozen dumplings, tofu, and fresh fish from their seafood department. Sometimes I just grab a piece of garlic or a bunch of scallions. They don't have everything the Queens H Mart has, but it's still good enough--and honestly, pretty awesome. There are always employees on the floor ready to help you find whatever you need. It's pleasant to walk in; they've got Korean sweet potatoes roasting right near the entrance, which is super tempting. The store is clean and pleasant overall, and their fish department is brand new--they just renovated it! read more

You gotta love that this place is open 365 days a year! We were suffering through a mediocre Thanksgiving mess when someone got the urge to make a homemade Mac n Cheese based on a famous Terbossian recipe. Of course, what's open on Thanksgiving at 6pm? Nothing. Not even Burger King, McDonald's, or Wendy's!! But there IS ONE EXCEPTION. H Mart! We rolled up, collected our box of macaroni, cheese blocks, milk, butter and flour. While some prices were a little inflated ($4.19 for an 8oz bag of shredded cheese), the milk, butter, and flour were in line with standard grocery store pricing. Most importantly, they were OPEN ON THANKSGIVING! We headed back to the house and an hour later, the grumpy mood had shifted to pure bliss thanks to Christina's Famous Mac n Cheese...and to H Mart! read more

Williston H Mart had very unique Korean foods like Cold ground bean broth noodle soup and frozen pan-fired stuffed Sesame leaves. They do have food samples usually on weekends that you can try. My favorite is the Korean premade & packaged bunchan area. These are referred to as side dishes but they are not really. Bubchan is shared dishes at the center of the table that is not individually ordered. I recommend shopping at any of the H Marts. read more

I love this Asian grocery store. It has so much stuff and everything is always fresh and delicious. We came here to buy some stuff to make sushi at home and they have toro which is a premium fatty cut of tuna. It was delicious!!! This is the only grocery store still standing in the area. The produce section usually has a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables. H Mart caters to Asian cooking so it'll be easy to find east Asian spices, sauces, and fruits (one of the only grocers that carry Lychees). The seafood section is also abundant. The reason I give it 3 stars is you will usually find the other patrons to this grocery store are pretty rude. Also, it lacks diversity with what it carries. This isn't the place you will want to shop at to buy groceries for Thanksgiving. read more

This was my second visit to this location I believe and it was spent almost only in the ramen section which is monstrous. If you like ramen and different kinds like my son does you should shop here. Huge variety and it's clean, organized and workers are helpful. I did a little video and a whole section dedicated to ramen in wild bc I felt like it was never ending and my boy was in ramen heaven. In the end the ramen was so damn good I could not help but think that place is AMAZING man. You will not find this in your local grocer. We also got mochi, Alaskan king crab legs that we put in the ramen and some more Asian snacks like roasted seaweed and pocky. I like that they have a little pots section and also that they take ebt which surprised me. Definitely returning soon. read more

I'm currently visiting my parents on Long Island for a few days from out of state. Yesterday, I decided to go grocery shopping with them at H Mart. I'm disabled, so I don't get out much, and I also need to wear a face mask for my protection. So, while we were leaving the store, the security guard at the entrance kept staring me down, which felt threatening and made me feel self-conscious and unwelcome. (And we had just spent over $200 there.) I'll tell my parents to stick to the stores in Flushing. It may be slightly more inconvenient, but at least in Flushing they don't treat disabled customers like criminals based on appearances. read more

This Hmart may not be the biggest or have the most variety, but dang, do they have a big parking lot! And not a lot of people come here, because it's a little further away from the main highways, but it is so worth the extra drive. I've been to all the ones in Queens plus the one in Jericho and I'd much rather have an easy going shopping experience here with no waiting and get most of my usual groceries. You won't find a food court, food samples or 3rd party vendors, but the vegetables, meat & seafood are fresh. There's also a massive selection of kimchi, banchans and other prepared foods like sushi & baked goods. Pre-made Japchae (sweet potato noodles) and Pajeon (Korean pancakes w/ different fillings) are also available to reheat at home. The meat selection is particularly good because they offer high quality beef with some great fat marbling, almost on the level of wagyu. If you look at the LA kalbi (thin sliced shortribs across the bone), you never see such nice marbling at your regular supermarket or butcher shop. When you marinate the kalbi in the store-bought KBBQ sauce, it caramelizes really nice and it tastes just like as if you grilled it at your favorite KBBQ restaurant. If you're feeling lax, you can even get your beef (short ribs or ribeye), pork or chicken pre-marinated (sweet or spicy). I like to cook it on my outdoor gas grill or on the stove top cast iron pan. Good location for H-mart with shared parking lot with other stores in the area. Aisles are labeled so easy to find what you are looking for. The vegetables are fresh and most are already packaged. Bought asian veggies and tofu there - great place to get them if you are not close to Chinatown markets or want to travel all the way there. Pulmone Crispy Seaweed to snacks are really good. The store itself has a great variety of food and groceries to choose from. Staff is friendly and check out is easy. Never had to experience long lines on the weekends so far. read more

This is another absolute gem. Fresh produce, numerous Asian items which are all delicious. Live seafood and fresh smelling seafood. Great meat opens. John - Seafood Dept is so awesome. Very disappointed in the seafood department. We asked for fish to be cut, cleaned and gutted for grilling. When we got home and opened it to cook, discovered that it was mushy and unedible. It's one thing if it wasn't cut and cleaned, but to know that someone knowingly sold unedible fish was very upsetting. read more

My other half took me to this H Mart and first the parking lot is much bigger, the store appears to be much bigger. However, their meat section is smaller and their dairy and frozen food section are set up differently in comparison to the Great Neck location. Meanwhile, the store has a section for cook and meal prep appliances, which was very very tempting. They also had more variety of ramen and prepared items. At the entrance of the store, they had the hand sanitizer and disposable gloves. In addition, there were no masks, but they had a more variety of hand sanitizers. I'd definitely come back for the ramen, prepared food and appliance options. read more

Very disappointed to find this market with pricing that was somewhat higher than the location in queens, near flushing. I always check the produce and meat section and it is admirable to see high quality produce and meats. However, this was was not the case here. We picked up a head of cabbage, since it was on sale. The market seem dirty as well, does not clean. If you goto the flushing location, the parking is difficult but the produce and butcher choices are very much high quality. So this was odd to not see here as well. Will definitely not be back, i just happened to drive by and we figure we stop and check it out. read more

I don't find this grocery to be especially cheap. Also, don't be alarmed by the chilly reception of staff and shoppers, I find it to be the Korean's nature/culture. Produce prices are little higher than Chinese groceries but they carry Korean products that they are known for. The staff though has unfriendly attitude or it's their Korean character - quiet but efficient. Location is really good . They have fresh fruits and vegetables at fair prices, meat that are freshly packed and precut for you, a seafood market, pre-marinated meat, snacks snacks and more snacks (the Honey Butter Chips!!!), prepared food like buns, kimbap, jap chae and sometimes sushi, a huge selection of frozen food, etc!! Came here on a Friday night around 7pm for the first time. Light crowd. I have to say it's a great place to come if you're looking to make any cool dynamic/ more cultural dishes. The produce options were vast for certain veg groups like the mushrooms and root vegetables. They have a lott of fresh seafood options and variety of how they're made to be used in different dishes. They prices were a bit more than I wanted to pay so i more or less browsed and didn't purchase. I usually stopped by here to get ice for my family parties and events. I had the pleasure I stopped by this store to pick up flowers for my mom. She adored them and the best part was they were plump yellow roses. Great for special occasions and surprising mom. I go here mostly for the assorted Asian mini-pancakes, seaweed salad, and kimchi. They used to carry my favorite gum (Starburst Strawberry), but that no longer seems the case. The reason I give only three stars is the horribly loud music - even LOUDER than most other stores. It's always a female singer belting out some stupid emotional song and it is terribly annoying and distracting. I even wear over-the-ears headphones and listen to my own music to drown it out, but need to turn up the volume to do so. It makes the experience extremely unpleasant and I longer spend as much time in the store - nor visit or buy as much - as I used to before they got this lousy idea to play the overly emotional girly pop s#%!. read more

Service was so friendly this time around! The female cashier was so sweet and accommodated our questions about the difference between the baked goods and it was a really nice experience! Much better than the one I had last time. I bought Chilean sea bass that was cut into very even pieces by the worker, which was very time efficient and helpful. I really appreciated that, and will come back to buy more fish. The baked goods had more variety because I went in the morning this time, and I chose some excellent buns - two with streusel like texture that I later found out are referred to as soboro buns, and I loved them as much as I love the anpan bun. The place is a chain apparently and caters to the Asian population- but they have the aforementioned seafood department and super fresh fruits and veggies. There are enough varieties of kim-chee to boggle the mind and frankly, I never knew that many styles of noodles were available in the world. What the differences are, I have no idea. It's a very clean, very pricey, and very appreciated place. This is the only place we've gotten our fish ever since discovering it, as well as our non-packaged, fresh produce (for the [cheaper alternative of the] rest we go to Trader Joe's). It's a wonderful, HUGE Korean/Asian market, compared to everything in the city m2m's. We buy kimchi and fish, whole and fillets, almost every week. We generally skip over the rest, but who am I kidding, we find some way to indulge. My sister had a period of getting dumpling wrappers, and I once in a while get something from their pre-made section, be it acorn or pea jelly, birds nests, or mochi or some glutinous rice treat. The other day I bought miso paste, rice powder and potato starch. No really, there's a ton of a lot here, and even though I have no idea about Asian food market products, what constitutes a good quality selection, what goes with what, what's for what and what's just plain experimenting, I know this place is the Fairway of Asian food markets in quantity, size and variety, and I'm just willing to pay the East Hampton/Manhattan price for that kind of thing. read more

This place is 90% cleaner than V & T in Hempstead, larger than any asian supermarket in Manhattan, closer than flushing, open late and has a ginormous selection! I love it. The seafood is fresh and it has a housewares section. yay ! They stock bundles of hard to find items like funky vegetables, random ito en teas, loose teas, natural teas sans high fructose and all sorts of yums. Oh and by the way, it dosn't REEK of fish like V & T in hempstead does! Ew! This place will be the sole reason I will have adult-onset diabetes. Never lets me down. This fairly large H Mart is located in the Williston Park/New Hyde Park area. It's a good sized, easy to access location with a good parking lot. I come here mainly for their produce and specialty items. Their vegetables are flawless and high quality. Nothing is in bad condition or old. Usually many things are fairly priced. Another great aspect of their produce is the variety! There are so many different types of fruits and vegetables that you've never seen before. There are many great asian rare vegetables. Everything is impressive. My favorite part is the selection of mushrooms. Every aisle is packed with different types of asian foods. Its fun just to walk up and down the aisles. Their meat section is fantastic with beautiful cuts of meat. Their fish section is great too. This store is good for specialty items like seaweeds, marinated meats, asian preparation supplies, foreign snacks, tempuras, frozen potstickers etc. This isnt the ideal store for everything. Just know that there are no cold cuts or home supplies like shampoos or good priced paper towels. This store does smell a little bit and is less organized that H Mart in Great Neck. This is a great store and cant wait to go back :) read more

Growing up in Atlanta GA, I'm very familiar with H Mart. Although this location isn't as grand as the ones in the south or the newer ones out in Jersey, its still very clean and quite nice inside. Unfortunately unlike the other newer locations it doesn't have a food court nor the Tours les Jour that you commonly find with H Marts because of the space. The selections are good however and they do seem to have the same things on sale for the items I see in other locations. I prefer this location's parking lot as the spaces are plenty and its quite easy to park. H&Y in Hicksville is where I normally go being that its closer but H mart does have more offering here being that its bigger both in store size and as well as less parking lot traffic. Overall its a good location as there are many other restaurants and shops nearby off Hillside Ave and not too far from the highways. Like other H Mart locations they always have free samplings during weekends which makes the visit even more enjoyable. read more

Not my favorite supermarket, but when I need specialty items, it is my go to place. Their produce section is quite impressive, showcasing many hard to find fruits and veggies. Bok choy, Shangai, ampalaya, Korean pears. The fish section is expansive and full of a wide array of sea creatures. the meat section is pedantic (by American standards) however, they carry the bare necessities. They have a nice frozen section full of Asian desserts and treats. The parking lot is ample and there is always enough shopping carts. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION SPOILED FOOD SOLD AND REFUSE TO EXCHANGE OR REFUND. REPORTING TO DEPT OF HEALTH. Both my friend and I bought a prepared packaged potato salad from here and when we got home and taste it, it was sour like the mayonnaise had spoiled. We went back to the store 3 days later, this location is 45min away from us and further out of the way, to ask the store to exchange for a fresh potato salad. We werent even asking for a refund but just for a unspoiled product and they refused. Saying no return right now, and when I said I dont want to return but only exchange then they made some excuse no exchange past 24hrs. I said no where in the store is this listed anywhere, not even on the receipt so how am I suppose to know. Then the man said he tastes every food that gets delivered and guarantee freshness so Is he saying he tasted every potato salad packages, obviously not, and that would be unsanitary. I explained I live 45min away and it's not so easy to get to their store so I came on the 3rd day to exchange. They spoke broken English that is barely understandable and do not stand behind their products. So if you buy anything spoiled you won't get money back or even an exchange. I rather spend my money at another store. They just lost business for my family and my friends family and all of our relatives and friends because we are posting this on social media Facebook, instagram, Twitter etc. read more
