I initially got my wedding dress alterations done elsewhere but, I noticed that the threading on the bustles and the cups were coming undone. With less than a week until my wedding, I was in a panic to find a wedding dress alterations place that could take me in (my previous place wasn't available). I called Super Dry Cleaners said they could see me the same day. When I got there, the owner and his wife (the seamstress) were so warm and understanding of my dress emergency. The seamstress carefully looked through my dress, walked over and got some thread, and not only redid the undone parts but, redid ALL the threading on my cups and the bustle - all while standing at the counter. I was so amazed and thankful for their kindness! I was already stressed with the wedding planning and they took such a huge load off! I was able to dance the night away without worrying that my bustle was going to come undone! I almost wish I came to them first so, I wouldn't have had to go through all this stress! So... I recently moved to Pasadena, and was in need of trusted Dry Cleaners nearby. My assistant found this place based on their high Yelp ratings. Wtf...? Out of closet full of clothes - I picked out 1 Gucci pants I needed dry cleaned to try them out. This particular pants has been worn twice since purchase. I dropped the pants off and requested my pants to be done by the next day. Which a man (assuming his the owner??) agreed. Next day my assistant goes in to pick up my pants and notices the pants are NOT cleaned. Korean Lady acknowledged the mistake and said the pants can be cleaned again and ready next day. Second day: my assistant goes back and sees the pants still not cleaned but damaged. The korean man tells my assistant its discoloration. Really??? I didn't know if I bring my pants, you will discolor my pants! I should of gone crazy and demanded they pay me $680 for my pants. But... thinking about how small business needs to survive and I'm sure the intention wasn't to damage my pants. I decided to forgo threatening and if needed pursue civil lawsuit. Again... if you own expensive pairs of clothes. Knowing which dry cleaners to go that you trust is extremely valuable. This has been a very expensive lesson. In regards to pricing? I don't know if they're cheap or expensive. I will definitely not be returning to this place. Do NOT trust this place with your expensive clothes. Shitty clothes? The price is a bit high. When I picked up my clothes, I was satisfied. They were also able to remove the stains on my clothes except for one dress (refer to "MeH" moment). The hem of my jean shorts got undone because I washed it. I brought it here to get re-hemmed; they did a good job. :: Customer Service:: Friendly. ::"MeH" Moment:: -I've been going here for a long time but unfortunately my chapter has ended. I brought my cream color summer dress and it had an oil/food stain. When I came to pick it up, I was told they were not able to remove the stain. This is my favorite dress so I didn't want to give up. I found another cleaner that was able to get the stain out. -On another visit, they accidentally gave my clothes to someone else. When I picked it up, they couldn't find it. Luckily, they found it in a couple of days. -I brought a blouse to get a hook sewed in but it fell off so they fixed it. When I got the blouse back, instead of getting a metal hook, it was a hook but made of thread. Highly recommended! After my wedding, my dress wasn't in the best shape (the hem was very dirty after a night of dancing). Since I wanted to keep my dress and have it cleaned, I shopped around a few dry cleaners at first. Super Dry Cleaners was by far the most fair, helpful, and friendly out of everyone I spoke to. Another absolute gem of a mom-and-pop shop in north Pasadena! I was looking for a place to get my suit tailored, and I was drawn in by the 5-star reviews here! Additionally, at the time, there was a 10% off Yelp Check-in offer, so it clinched a visit for me. Ms. Young, the seamstress, was very nice and helpful. I was quite proud of the first suit I brought to her to do: I found it on clearance at Nordstrom Rack for a great price as a set and I thought I'd just need a bit of work done. She and her husband showed me that it was actually not the right size for me; I needed to go a bit smaller for both parts and I would waste more money getting it fixed. They recommended that I continue searching for a better fitted suit to reduce my own costs, and I appreciated their honesty. They didn't want me to have to waste a lot of money doing extra unnecessary tailoring work. I brought them back two alternatives and they helped me choose the better fit one. The pants needed hemming ($13) and the jacket sleeves needed shortening/button moving ($40): reasonable pricing. They were able to finish the work within a week. After my friend's wedding, I realized that one sleeve was a tad longer than the other. I brought it back to them and they happily offered to fix that issue for free. They had only pinned one sleeve during the fitting, and I had assumed they'd measure to ensure both sides were equal length. They informed me later that they don't measure, relying only on pinning, so just be aware of this practice. Perhaps insist on getting both sides pinned or asking for measurements. Really great couple that runs this place. I recently got married and needed my dress altered. I called a few places but each place seemed hesitant or unwilling to alter my dress for me. All I really needed done was the hem but because of the delicate lace appliqués many places didn't want to alter it because they didn't have enough experience or didn't want to deal with such a difficult job. I was stressing out because my wedding was in about 2 months! I happened upon this place on yelp and I quickly called! First the owners (a husband and wife) were willing to take a look at my dress, second, they never hesitated or were unwilling, and third they knew a few ways to alter my dress in order to keep from ruining the appliqués! They had such a great attitude and you can tell the locals love them as many of their customers would come in and speak so casually with them like friends. They really saved me and got my dress hemmed in time for my wedding. They gave me the extra fabric from my dress and my sister-in-law was able to use it for diy flower decorations! They saved my sport coat!!! I have a tailored Hugo Boss sport coat that had been too close to a "hot" bulb. Before I had a chance to move it, the damage was done. The fabric from the jacket covering was burned into the fabric of the jacket. I knew it was a long shot and was told by the owner that he wasn't sure he could save it... I was desperate to save my favorite jacket, so I told him to give it a try. They did amazing work and finished ahead of schedule! Very impressed and satisfied! I went last week on a Monday to have my dress altered for a wedding that I was attending on Saturday. I was pressed for time, but Mr. Young and his wife really took care of me. She altered the length of the dress and I asked her to use that material to add onto the back area of the dress (the back was too low for my liking). She also took in the shoulder area as well and made it more fitting. The dress was ready that Thursday. They both were so sweet and kind. I rarely post reviews on Yelp unless the service and experience was either really good or really bad. I've been going to random dry cleaning places for years and haven't found one that I completely like u til now. I was wearing my garbadine trench cape coat and had accidentally brushed it against my car as I was getting in and out. So there was a dirt stain on the back of the coat. I always carry a tide pen with me to fix stains on the spot and ensure it doesn't set. Well, it was a huge mistake because it made the dirt adhere to the fabric even more and left a sizable wet ring around the dirt. I googled for best dry cleaners near me and the frustrating part is that most reviewers based their comments and review on the person working there giving them good or bad customer service but not about the outcome of their clothes that was being dry cleaned. I chose to try Super Cleaners. Both the gentleman and lady that works there are nice. They were able to remove the dirt spot and the wet ring off my coat without discoloration!! The first attempt there was still slight dirt on there and the wet ring was still there. I learned from the cleaners not to use the tide pen or any type of spray on most garments because it causes more harm than good. The cleaners cleaned it again for the second time for free and 99.9% of the dirt is gone! There is a tiny pinpoint dirt spot still on there but hardly noticeable. I brought in my BHLDN wedding dress to be cleaned and they did an exceptional job. It rained on our wedding day, and the whole bottom of my dress was coated in mud and dirt. On top of that I let it sit for months after the wedding without being cleaned. I honestly was terrified to even open the garment bag when I brought it in, but was assured they would take their time and get all of the dirt possible out.
