Delicious wide variety of Chinese foods. I enjoy the fact that they have a microwave. Favorites are fried rice, green beans, mushrooms, onions, broccoli. Like the salad with ranch dressing & cold broccoli & onions. Love boiled eggs. read more

I enjoy this spot a lot, it's what you would expect for a Chinese buffet in the Midwest. The value is exceptional considering you get many options ranging from a salad bar, to soup, to even ice cream. Pepsi products...unfortunately. The soup can taste a little off so hot or miss there. This is absolutely the worst oriental buffet I have been to. The food was terrible and completely inedible. Inside was filthy. The tables were sticky, floors were covered in filth and the ceiling had plastic completely covering it and hanging down, see photo's. read more

My bestie and I tried this place for the first time today and the food was okay, not to bad. Since it is Sunday, the price all day is $13.95. A bit to much for what was offered on the buffet. We were getting ready to leave and I told my bestie to not move his plate! He did and a cockroach ran and went back underneath the table! I had just seen it come up from under the table!!!! He and I almost screamed. We both got up saying 1st and last time we would be coming to this place!!! We will be reporting this to the health dept. Where there is one cockroach, there are many more! We wish we would have gotten a photo, but we were both so shocked and upset, we hightailed it out of there!! We should have demanded our money back! read more

We came fairly late so there weren't many people in here. Needless to say many of the food trays were low or empty. We are like magnets because when this happens, it seems that many others seem to follow us. As others began to come in, the buffet was rapidly filled with hot, delicious foods. We we very pleased. I love the Hot and Sour soup here. Just the right amount of hot and just the right amount of sour. There was a delicious shrimp, (fried without batter) and crab. I highly recommend that dish. The egg rolls are disappointing for me. They are cabbage only. All of the other items make up for them though. The building is old, but it is kept very clean. Stopped in here for the lunch buffet. It was pretty inexpensive! Overall the food was good. There were a few dishes I tried that tasted odd, but nothing too major. The food was hot and everything was kept up on nicely. The hostess was making sure to check on everything when she had down time. She worked very hard at making sure everything was in good order for the entirety of our meal. The only complaint I had was that all the tables were pretty sticky. This is a pretty middle-of-the-road Chinese buffet. It's clean, offers a fair selection, and the quality is pretty average for average prices. I won't rave about the food but I also have no complaints. If you're looking for a decent place to have dinner without breaking the bank, this is a good bet. They do refresh the food regularly, so that is a plus compared to some of the competition. Final summation: Average food at an average price. I'll likely go back at some point, but I won't go out of my way or make special plans just to visit. read more

The sweet and sour chicken was dry to the point you couldn't bite into it. Very low food selection wasn't even any egg rolls. The fried rice had no flavor and the chicken on a stick was made weirdly. read more

I have driven by this place so many times over the years, and yesterday was my first visit for lunch. Why did I wait so long? It was great! Everything I tried on the buffet lines I liked. I also liked the size of their buffet; not too big and not too small. If it was too big I would want to try everything which can be somewhat overwhelming for me. Now I will have to go back and try all those other things that I did not get to taste. I did see a previous review about the tables being sticky. Sort of funny, but I did notice our table being a little tacky when we first got there too when I put my hand down on it. Maybe it keeps your plates from sliding around? :) The pedestal type table top right next to the end of the buffet line also wanted to spin on us. Either of these issues will not keep me from coming back though. read more

I'm sad to report that this restaurant has gone down hill a bit since I last ate here. It has either changed hands since then, or they just haven't kept it up. They still have a Mongolian BBQ grill which is nice, but cleanliness hasn't been kept up and the service has dropped off a little. I went there about 1:00pm, and there was only one employee working the whole front: cash register, table bussing, putting food in the trays, running the Mongolian grill. The men's room was "acceptable" but could have easily been detail cleaned a little better. A few of the steam tray dishes were good (still making it a great value overall), but most were similar to the "fill-up cheap" strip-mall Chinese buffets. Salad bar included iceberg lettuce, sliced cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, a very good vinagry/spicey cucumber/tomato combination, and a good seafood salad. Dessert bar included cantelope, white grapes, canned peaches, canned pineapple chunks, pudding, and one of my favorites: banana slices in a sweet red (either strawberry and/or cherry) sauce. Lunch was only $6.97 including drink and tax, so it would rate a 4 out of 5 on value. This place has been open many years, but the New Century Chinese buffet not far from here on Pendleton Pike (a much better location) closed recently. So I don't know if this place can stay open long. It's no longer worth going out of your way for, and won't impress anyone, but if you're in the area and want a Chinese buffet or Mongolian BBQ/grill, it's acceptable, and still a good value. Menu Item Suggestion for New Diners: The Mongolian grill/BBQ seems a good standard.Otherwise pick-and-choose small amounts from the steam tables to find out what's fresh/good that day. read more

This is good food. My family always go in to eat. I love crab Rangoon and mac and cheese. The kid cashier is very mean but i still like to eat here. :) Tip: Usually fresh foods come out during breakfast time around 10:30-11:00 the other time the food isn't fresh At night don't bother going if it's not busy because they won't refill the food unless it is busy. read more

I went there this evening with my boyfriend who is vegetarian. I tried the chicken dishes on the buffet and the pepper chicken and grill chicken were my favorite. I opted for some lo mein with them. All of those were good. However, the general tsao's chicken was soggy as were the other breaded chicken options. The crab rangoons had been sitting for a while and were oily. They had quite a few vegetarian options if you are okay with eating mostly carb rich foods and some veggies. We inquired about getting tofu off the menu and having it prepared in general tsao sauce but that was not something they could do. I've never had a problem with the food or the prices. BUT....I'd just like to find myself feeling a little more welcome when I visit. The little kid as the cashier is a bit questionable, but what he or someone should be doing is putting on a grin and saying "Welcome! or Hi there! How can we help you today?" vs what I usually receive... "2 adults?" (with no smile or warmth offered). Then a "Please sign" (my ccard receipt). END of conversation. Not even a Thank You!
