Super chicken is a casual Peruvian style chicken restaurant. The chicken was charred nicely and flavorful. I also enjoyed the side of fried plantains and house salad. Additionally, their green sauce and mild sauce are really good if you are a saucy/dipping person. Ordering is like Chipotle style where you will go down the line and choose the amount of chicken and your sides. This made ordering very fast. read more

Great music, great food, and so filling after a long day at work! The staff here is extremely helpful. It was my first time here and I was not familiar with Peruvian cuisine and they explained the menu items for me. The chicken Saltado is so tender. The veggies are nice and blistered as well. You have to get the green sauce here! The location is also right next to a rail stop so it's easy to access! read more

This is our family's "go-to" place in the Tysons Corner area (on Route 7) for carryout Peruvian chicken. Overall, it has many pluses. First, the seasoning of the yummy charcoal-grilled chicken is really nice. Second, the yucca fries are wonderful, but you may have to wait a few minutes for a new batch as they are a popular item. Third, this Super Chicken was renovated in summer 2025 - with new signs for menu options. It still has a casual vibe if you choose to dine in. The only minus is that prices have risen a lot since 2022 (as with many restaurants). But the family specials are a treat every now and then. read more

The Tysons Super Chicken is top notch. My husband and I stopped in for lunch over the weekend- it was packed. We had to wait a few minutes after ordering for our whole chicken, but it was worth the wait. The interior has been renovated recently, it's cute inside and I recommend dining inside for a comfortable place to eat. read more

Yes, please I wasn't super excited about trying this place however I was forced into trying it from someone else. The prices are a little expensive however the flavor is worth the price you're paying. The amount of yucca that you get as a side is ridiculous and I love it. The flavors are so good as well. The chicken is so good and so are the sauces. I need more. There is plenty of seating however they stay super busy so make sure you get there and eat. I also tried the dulce cookies at the register and I must say the bigger ones are so much better than the smaller ones but they are delicious nonetheless. I can't wait to return back and eat more of the food. The menu isn't huge however it's definitely worth going to. read more

Always good here. I order super chicken for a company luncheon. Everyone enjoyed it, the chicken especially. Only issue was the Yuca was a bit dried out this visit. Everything was ready and on time, the nice gentleman even brought it outside and loaded it into my car. It was the hottest day ever, but he did it with a smile. read more

Unfortunately on the drier side of Peruvian chicken that I have had but still decent. I did not take any pictures during my visit but they still get a four star review due to quality of sides/sauces, value, and comfort/cleanliness. The restaurant seems to be a staple for many of my Nova friends that grew up here so I gave it a try. Ordered a whole chicken to share with a friend, the cassava fries and beans with chickpea were delicious. They have quite a lot of side options to choose from. Service is what you would expect from fast casual spot, comparable to Chipotle. read more

I love this place. Their charcoal Peruvian chicken is amazing. Also they don't skimp on the sides. Albeit they do skimp on the sauces. Their yellow sauce is the best I've had of the many places I've been to. I usually order the family special with multiple sides. The fried rice is excellent and comes with chicken as well as their fries. They also have chickpeas and their coleslaw is good as well. Overall my regular go to chicken place. read more

Simple menu with good flavored Peruvian chicken! Fresh hot cut right in front of you. Nice selection of sides. Friendly and efficient staff. Well run. Clean with good space to accommodate, no crowding. Met with friend both of us enjoyed the experience, will come back if in the area and in the mood for Peruvian chicken. read more

Came for their lunch special ($15 for a half chicken dark and two sides)! The lunch surge definitely happens around noon, so the line can be medium to long. The food was delicious and very authentic. Loved the smokey flavors of the Peruvian chicken, yuca, and their sauces. Extremely generous portion sizes as well. Plenty of indoor seating! read more

Really good tasty chicken! The amount of sides they give are huge. The white rice and plantains were really good. Getting through the line was pretty quick. The people were very nice. Nothing is more debated than Peruvian Chicken. I was in the area and wanted to give this place a go. I've heard some state that this is the best Peruvian chicken in the area. It was good. Maybe better than good, but not the best. El Pollo Rico, Sardi's, the list goes on of other Peruvian Chicken spots that have my heart so the competition is fierce. If you're in the Tysons Corner area, Super Chicken is still a solid choice to satisfy your appetite. read more

Super Chicken - Picture came out amazing! ;) - Latin American Near Me - Vienna, Virginia

A super find right next to the Greensboro Silver Line Metro stop, as it was my first time at one of their fast casual restaurants. The line was long when I arrived, but the employees were efficient and courteous to all as they worked the line down. It seemed as though that those in line were repeat customers from their ability to quickly provide orders with no questions. I ordered a chicken sub sandwich that was quite delicious and decided to splurge, for an extra $1.00, and substitute fried rice in lieu of fries. A note about sandwich and wrap orders, these are not as quickly ready to go as the primary chicken meals. It wasn't a huge wait and either way you will be in and out fairly quickly if taking your order to go, especially if getting one of the chicken platter meals. I was quite impressed at how clean they kept the restaurant, as they had someone wiping down tables as soon as dine-in customers would leave and the bathroom was well kept. Hopefully there will be more Super Chicken locations popping up throughout the DMV in the future, as I think they have less than a handful presently. read more

Good chicken here. Was on my list of places to try for Peruvian chicken, and it didn't disappoint. Portions are generous and the chicken is really tender and seasoned well. They appear to have a 1/2 chicken dark special with 2 sides for around $13 (if I remember correctly), which is a great deal. Sides were good. Nothing too crazy, but pretty decent. My only issue here is the sauce. The green sauce is great, but the white sauce is too creamy/full of mayo. Plus, they charge for any extra sauce that you may want after the standard amount. Still, I'll be coming back here soon. IMO, Sardi's is a better place with better sauces. Just my take though. read more

The best chicken place ive been to hands down. I was apprehensive to go out of my usual choices. My coworker raved about it and i was forced. Im so glad I did. The flavors are amazing, and the food was hot and perfectly cooked. I love the yellow sauce. Its a very clean environment. Prices are a little high but you get what you pay for and this was worth it. read more

Great place for quick, hot and fresh proven. All of the sides are delicious. We really enjoy the chicken and the salad with lots of dressing. The plantains aren't delightful. I don't know what they inject into their chicken here but I'm not sure I want to know, because anything this delicious cannot be good for me. Lots of tables to sit at and everyone was very nice. I'm not someone who's had a lot of Peruvian chicken during my life, but I know that Super Chicken at least makes chicken that is bussin. Super Chicken isn't a super fancy place - it's more of a fast casual place that has seating but no servers. That's not what you come here for, though - it's the chicken. I'd personally recommend getting dark meat, which is actually cheaper than the white meat. The chicken is seasoned extremely well, never overcooked, and overall slaps. You also get two sides - and you have plenty of choices here. You can go with yuca, fried rice, regular rice, salad, and so many other options. I personally go with the regular rice and chickpeas, which is phenomenal. The yuca is also awesome. Lastly, the sauce. They've got a yellow savory sauce and a green spicy sauce. They are both phenomenal and add so much to the experience. Unfortunately, you have to pay if you want extra sauce. read more

I have been craving Peruvian chicken for the past couple of days and after a day of holiday shopping this really hit the spot. When you walk in restaurant, you get greeted with the delicious smell of chickens roasting over the charcoals. The menu is simple and not too extensive, which I prefer. We got a family special #2 which was a whole chicken, and 4 side orders. We got 2 sides of yuca, black beans and Plantains. just note a sides of plantains cost .75 cents on top of your meal. The staff were all super friendly. You know a place is good when even during non-peak hours there is still a line. The chicken was flavorful and moist. The plantain and the beans were as expected, but the yuca really hits the spot. It was just freshly fried and fluffy inside. If I had to nitpick, the yellow sauce was a little bland and thick. Also, some of the tables were a little dirty. Overall, it's a good meal. This hits the spot and you will walk away happy and full. read more

Super Chicken Tysons is the gold standard for peruvian chicken in NoVA. I've tried several spots around the area and they are by far the most consistently great peruvian chicken joint. I typically ask for the whole chicken with fries, salad (with onions), and fried brown rice. I wish they'd give 8 sauces instead of 6, but oh well. On weekends they serve ceviche, of which I'm a fan of serving as an appetizer to a group of 3-5. The ceviche is also high grade and supercedes that of other places that specialize in seafood/peruvian cuisine. They someimes run out of ceviche if you walk in late afternoon so try to show up at noon-2pm. All in all, I've been coming for years and will continue to come as long as they keep delivering. read more

4.5 Tried Super Chicken after several years and now two toddlers. We enjoyed the chicken a lot, and it's always better nice and hot. If you are ordering there go to the front and left to start your order with your choice in chicken and then sides. You can see what they have and we got yucca, black beans, white fried rice and corn on the cob. The yucca was ok- some were too thick and dry. There is a place we love with fried yucca so we will still try it and probably get the fried plantains which looked very good. Other sides are ok. The fountain drinks were unfortunately missing a few sodas and the one we got was flat (kids didn't notice). Covid times there's plenty of separation but the tables were not clean so we cleaned it off ourselves, which is ok for fast casual but had to go to bathroom to get wet napkins. But as far as Peruvian chicken it's very good and if we lived closer would be in our regular rotation for take out as it is affordable for a family and can satisfy many tastes. read more

I first tried Super Chicken years ago and it absolutely WOWed me. Beyond excited to grab it again tonight for dinner, I'm happy to report that the chicken was just as good as I remembered. I ordered a Family Special #2, which came with a whole chicken and four sides. First off, the portions were MASSIVE. Like unless Nandos is being cheap and giving me a quarter chicken when I ordered a half, this has got to be at least two chickens. But I'm not complaining, I love my chicken. Taste wise, the chicken is oh so juicy, maybe even the juiciest chicken I've ever had. It's flavorful without being too salty and the yellow and green sauces on the side pair perfectly. For sides, I ordered corn on the cob, fries, pasta salad, and coleslaw. Everything was super yummy. The portions of fries was also very big. Price wise, the meal cost around $40 but this was beyond plenty to feed my entire family for not just tonight's dinner but probably also for part of our lunch tomorrow. I remember I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first tried it a few years back but this has got to be one of my, and my family's, favorite restaurants in northern Virginia. The super juicy chicken is definitely a must-try! read more

This place slaps. Ordered a whole chicken combo, which came with two sides- I got the yuca fries and salad. The worker piled on the yuca fries, which was great. The restaurant is kept clean, they take an effort to upkeep the dining areas. One thing I would change, would be to decrease the amount of salt in the chicken. The skin was pretty salty, a bit too much for me. read more
