Clean room! New flooring!
Matt S.

Beat my expectations, given the ultra low price I paid for this room. Hotel is environmentally friendly: no throw-away plastic bottles (probably available upon request), the heater/air conditioner was not on by default, I can appreciate all that. Room is clean, nearly everything (flooring, sink and counter, etc) had been recently replaced. Looks like they recently remodeled the whole place. Breakfast only had waffles, toast and cereal: no eggs and bacon, but for this low a price, I wouldn't expect anything more anyway. Professional service, no complaints here. Thanks!!

If there was a no star option I would use it. From the time of check in it was horrible service rude woman telling guest she doesn't care no refunds due to cigarette burns in rooms. An on the sheets comforters an on furniture. Before we even checked in. Once checked in after inspecting the room to find a musty odor among a smoke smell. To also find cigarette burns in the room also an in the. Ath tub of all places. In what is displayed as a nonsmoking property. Also harassed after checking out for using the pool. When multiple of my friends are guest checked in an was forced to leave. And was told it is not okay to use because guest can't use the pool. When there was no one at the pool. By far the worst customer service by far. Will never come back or recommend to anyone ever!!!! Stay anywhere else but here! I'm actually leaning toward this women is racist as she did not say anything to any of my Caucasian friends once! Definitely need to do some customer service training!

*3.5 Stars* Super 8... you have served me well! I'm giving you a solid 3.5 stars on this one. It's always so hard to decide on decent hotels when it comes to using Yelp. You have your scary one star reviews and then your glowing five star reviews, but sometimes it really all depends on preferences and your own personal experience. I decided to book a hotel for Yelp's Grape Escape since I knew I would be drinking all day and it was a 2 and half hour drive from me. I booked the hotel later than I should have, so the closest hotels that I could find to the Anderson Valley that weren't already booked up or super expensive were located in the city of Ukiah. Super 8 is affiliated with Wyndham Hotel Group, so I was able to book my hotel right from their website and I received at 20% off booking promo! Woo hoo! The hotel is located less than 2 miles from 101 and it was super easy to find. Check in time is at 2:00, but I arrived around 7 o'clock due to all of the earlier festivities. The check in process was super easy and the lady at the counter was very cordial. When I got to my room, I noticed that they had given me a room with two queen beds instead of one king. It didn't bother me too much, but this might be an issue from someone else... especially if it ended up being the other way around. Luckily they were the same price and it was non-smoking, so it ended up being no biggie. The interior was neat and clean and the air conditioning/heating worked very well and was in great condition. The room came equipped with a mini refrigerator and a microwave which I didn't use, but it was nice to have them there just in case. It also had a mini flat screen TV which I watched only briefly while I was getting ready to leave the next morning. During the day and into the night, I didn't hear any noise and I was able to sleep soundly. However, I could hear the people upstairs running and walking around early in the morning. It sounded like a bunch of people in high heels were just walking around the room the entire time. It was extremely annoying! The night before, I looked at the hotel brochures to see when the cut-off time for their complimentary breakfast was. I couldn't find it and I didn't call them to ask, but I should have because I missed the cut-off by a half an hour. I wish that there was some sort of documentation listing when breakfast starts and ends, but I can't totally blame them for that. Just so YOU all know... breakfast ends at 9:30 am (not sure when it starts?)! I had a decent experience and I would stay at this Super 8 again if I was in the area.

If I could give negative stars I would. Please board this place up. How can a place so awful be a part of such a beautiful area? As soon as we pulled up outside and looked at the dirty parking lot and trash blowing across the grass, we should have turned and run. The "no smoking room" was tiny and stank as did the rest of the building. It smelled like nothing I've ever encountered; imagine a petting zoo for decrepit animals smoking Marlboros pinched between what was left of their rotting teeth. We went out early and stayed out as late as we could manage. The next morning we were up and out, passing on the free breakfast as we could only imagine the state of the the kitchen. If you can handle it, check out the photos (but be warned, they are not for the squeamish). The thing I'm pointing to is literally a bugger wiped next to the headboard. Avoid this dump at all costs. You literally couldn't pay me to stay there again.

Overall the property and the service were fine at this location, however, the cockroaches in the room were unacceptable. Enough said.

Entering the hotel, with pleasant customer service and plenty of coffee to warm us up after a long three hour drive hit just right! Upon entering our large modern king room, we enjoyed: fire place( should be part of every Hilton experience) , balcony, fridge and microwave. The bathroom also exceeded our expectation- with his and her mirrors; plenty of hooks and towel holders; and large closet space. We really appreciated the flooring in the entry way with the coat rack( this should be part of every Hilton experience). Morning hospitality was nice as well. More warm coffee and breakfast hit the spot for our drive home. Amazing! Hilton experience as expected but this experience one of the best Hilton experiences I've had this year. My only concern was there may have been a pet in the room so maybe having separate rooms for pet owners would be appreciated. Again thank you for an amazing stay!

Good to see that they had luggage carts because we had an assortment of travel and grocery bags and boxes to deal with and a rather long trek to our rooms. Our rooms were pretty nice but we must have had a family with kids above us that were wound up from their adventures. We heard them scampering around long after 11pm. What you gonna do? The bed was very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. The TV had lots of channels and we found some movies we enjoyed. Breakfast started at 6am downstairs. They had a great assortment of vittles. I tried the pre-made cheese omelet with a few potatoes and some sausage slices. Pretty good, but the omelet could have used some salsa. I went back for a couple of the mini waffles. They offered malted vanilla of cinnamon roll flavor batter. After 3 minutes in the waffle iron, they are ready to go. The chocolate and caramel syrup were too thick to dispense from their squirt bottles, but the raspberry topping flowed easily and the whipped cream can had plenty of propellant. Back in our room, the 2 sinks had good lighting for getting yourself ready for the day. Not too impressed with the shower / bathtub setup, though. The tub diverter that you pull up to direct water to the shower head didn't seal well. Half of the shower water went past it into the tub. Not impressed with the toilet, either. It sits too close to the floor, like it was designed for a child. Also, it's placed too close to the sink counter. The toilet seat was loose, too, making it more of a challenge when sitting down. We mentioned that to the clerk, so hopefully, it will be fixed. The balcony was tiny, with 1 plastic chair & table. The view consisted of the street below and the parking lot across the street. The glass door and the screen door were very hard to slide in their tracks. Best to avoid the balcony altogether. Anyway, the place was very clean and attractive. The pool area was very inviting but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Maybe next time.

They don't take cards. Breakfast was very basic, toast, Eggo style waffles, cold cereal, juice, and coffee. But what made it truly unforgettable was Rachel and her incredible team. From the very beginning, Rachel made everything feel easy. She's organized, intuitive, calm, and somehow manages to be both laid-back and on top of every detail. I never felt overwhelmed, never stressed. I fully trusted her, and that trust paid off a thousand times over. The florals were perfect--gorgeous but not fussy, exactly in tune with the setting and the vibe we'd envisioned. Her staff was so kind and attentive, and the whole event flowed effortlessly thanks to their care and presence. Guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was, but also how relaxed and fun the day felt. There was no pretense or pressure--just love, laughter, tacos (SO GOOD), and pure joy. Rachel also helped us source our hair and makeup artist (who was amazing), our dessert vendor (adorable and delicious), and even supported our late-night In-N-Out plan. She managed every piece of the puzzle with grace and humor, and made sure we got to actually enjoy our wedding day. (Which we did. Fully. With Palomas. And a piano man. And guacamole on my dress.) We've joked with our guests about making this an annual thing, and honestly? We might not be joking. Yokayo is that special. And if you're lucky enough to have Rachel by your side, you're in very good hands.

It's not the fanciest hotel but it was remodeled not too long ago, and as modern as it can be. The décor of the hotel is nice, the room was clean, and the area is pretty quiet; parking was easy, safe and free. The other hotel options were just a tad bit better, but this was pretty good and a bang for your buck. The one thing I will say is the walls are super thin. I could hear clear conversations of our neighbors, BUT I turned on the AC so that pretty much phased out the talk. Also, the gym is a no-frills kind of place. One treadmill, one bike and one elliptical. There are no weights of any kind. I didn't use the pool, which is indoors; it was empty despite the outdoor heat. The front desk was great. On two dif occasions, I asked for band-aids and lotion and they easily supplied both. Check-in was easy, fast and done with a smile. There are some good eats within walking distance and downtown is just an easy few lights away. A simple breakfast is included in our stay and it was perfect bc we had lunch plans, but I needed something after my workout, so I would make myself a granola bowl with fresh yogurt and fresh toppings. Overall, this was a good stay and I would come back here again.

There was no decaf available in the lobby. Coffee for Americans is a big deal. The tea options (in the lobby) were extremely limited. At this price point, I really would expect to have adequate supplies for what the room is and for the amount of guests on each reservation. The hotel has the potential to be fabulous.
