We checked in on a Thursday afternoon, greeted by Robert behind the front desk. Robert is…read morewonderful; cheerful and welcoming. Unfortunately, we found out that our room booked through hotels.com was different than what the hotel property had reserved. We booked a studio room but the property had us booked as a room with two queen beds. The size difference was noticeable. Apparently, the hotels.com booking system has been having issues with this property. I hope they fix that. Robert behind the front desk was wonderful, apologizing for the mix up and reducing our rate for the incorrect room. I also appreciate Robert for getting milk for my infant. It was almost 11:00 pm at night and we needed milk. Robert was able to get milk for the child and all was well! Highly recommend this property based on the way Robert cared for us, even with this room reservation mix up. If you use a third party booking, call the property direct to make sure your reservation is accurate. This is a recurring problem. Pool was lovely! Big hit with my kids. The pool is also partially covered by an awning, which is great for keeping my kids out of the sun but still having fun! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Located just off highway 101, the Hampton Inn Ukiah was easy to find with plenty of parking. We…read moregot a friendly greeting and the clerk did a good job of finding rooms for us and our friends that were close together. Good to see that they had luggage carts because we had an assortment of travel and grocery bags and boxes to deal with and a rather long trek to our rooms. Our rooms were pretty nice but we must have had a family with kids above us that were wound up from their adventures. We heard them scampering around long after 11pm. What you gonna do? The bed was very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. The TV had lots of channels and we found some movies we enjoyed. Breakfast started at 6am downstairs. They had a great assortment of vittles. I tried the pre-made cheese omelet with a few potatoes and some sausage slices. Pretty good, but the omelet could have used some salsa. I went back for a couple of the mini waffles. They offered malted vanilla of cinnamon roll flavor batter. After 3 minutes in the waffle iron, they are ready to go. The chocolate and caramel syrup were too thick to dispense from their squirt bottles, but the raspberry topping flowed easily and the whipped cream can had plenty of propellant. Back in our room, the 2 sinks had good lighting for getting yourself ready for the day. Not too impressed with the shower / bathtub setup, though. The tub diverter that you pull up to direct water to the shower head didn't seal well. Half of the shower water went past it into the tub. Not impressed with the toilet, either. It sits too close to the floor, like it was designed for a child. Also, it's placed too close to the sink counter. The toilet seat was loose, too, making it more of a challenge when sitting down. We mentioned that to the clerk, so hopefully, it will be fixed. The balcony was tiny, with 1 plastic chair & table. The view consisted of the street below and the parking lot across the street. The glass door and the screen door were very hard to slide in their tracks. Best to avoid the balcony altogether. Anyway, the place was very clean and attractive. The pool area was very inviting but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Maybe next time.

You could tell it was an older carpet, but it was still very clean. Everything was spotless, there was plenty of light, and plenty of space to charge my gear. The TV had Dish Network with a great picture. The heater kept the room, plenty warm, and. While the bed was a tiny bit firm for my personal choice, I still got a very good nights sleep. There was a desk to work and/or eat at, as well as a fridge and a microwave. Wi-Fi was plenty fast enough to stream video. They have a soda and a snack machine, but they take bills and change only. They don't take cards. Breakfast was very basic, toast, Eggo style waffles, cold cereal, juice, and coffee. Not bad, considering the price.. there are plenty of places nearby if you want something more to eat. There are also a lot of great restaurants in town. A good night, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

But what made it truly unforgettable was Rachel and her incredible team. From the very beginning, Rachel made everything feel easy. She's organized, intuitive, calm, and somehow manages to be both laid-back and on top of every detail. I never felt overwhelmed, never stressed. I fully trusted her, and that trust paid off a thousand times over. The florals were perfect--gorgeous but not fussy, exactly in tune with the setting and the vibe we'd envisioned. Her staff was so kind and attentive, and the whole event flowed effortlessly thanks to their care and presence. Guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was, but also how relaxed and fun the day felt. There was no pretense or pressure--just love, laughter, tacos (SO GOOD), and pure joy. Rachel also helped us source our hair and makeup artist (who was amazing), our dessert vendor (adorable and delicious), and even supported our late-night In-N-Out plan. She managed every piece of the puzzle with grace and humor, and made sure we got to actually enjoy our wedding day. (Which we did. Fully. With Palomas. And a piano man. And guacamole on my dress.) We've joked with our guests about making this an annual thing, and honestly? We might not be joking. Yokayo is that special. And if you're lucky enough to have Rachel by your side, you're in very good hands.

Such a beautiful property and venue and the staff are super friendly. Can't wait to go back!!read more

Parking is free and breakfast is for all guests to enjoy every morning from 6am-9am during my stay. My room is as advertised but I wished the showed had more pressure to it. Shoutout to the lady at the breakfast service. She was very attentive and replenishes the area. In my room, there is a microwave and mini refrigerator. The tv is loud. I think it's how it's programmed. Even when I lowered down the volume on my last use, it reset back to a very loud volume. One of the bedside lamps during my second day started flickering. Thankfully, the room is bright with natural light when the curtains are drawn. Coffee near the front desk is available 24hours. There's hot water as well for those who prefer tea

Don't expect much. There's scrambled eggs, (salty) sausage patties, oatmeal, bagels, and yogurt. The best thing is the waffle maker. The pool is open until 11:00pm, but I didn't check it out. The major negative were the noises. When we walked by in the hallway, we could hear the neighbors loud music. It wasn't any better in the room as the walls are thin. The front desk worker was able to switch us to another room. The ac/ heater unit was noisy, but thankfully we didn't need to use it at night. The mini fridge was also noisy and we eventually had to unplug it. I was not able to get a good nights sleep.

I have stayed at most of the motels in Ukiah, but I had never stayed here before. I made my way down the tree-lined streets and found this small peaceful oasis. The owner was very kind. In spite of my appearance he showed me a nice room and gave me a great rate for the night. It depends on what kind of princess you are, but this is a really decent place to stay. I am a princess, but also down home girl from the Ozarks. I love this place! This is a simple motel, but it is perfectly simple. Almost zen like simplicity. It's very peaceful. It feels really safe. A lot of motels in this price range and in this region do not feel very safe. The parking spots are right in front of your room. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. Key points: * Simple but good amenities * Clean * Safe * Wifi that works. If you are a travelling professional like myself, you need good internet. Voll delivers. * Nearby an excellent Japanese fusion restaurant, a pub with good food. Also across the street is a corner market and laundromat. If you aren't super demanding, just need something simple and clean, this is a really great option.

Nonetheless, do yourself a favor next time you are in Ukiah... skip the chains and keep your eyes peeled for the Voll Motel "Vacancy" sign. You won't be sorry for the experience and value at this family-run business!
