Highly enjoyed our stay, 2nights and 3 days went very smoothly and quick. Room was very clean and inviting. Bed was super comfy and cozy. Shower and amenities were relaxing and the breakfast was super yummy with a-lot of options. All hotel staff that we encountered were very friendly and always had a welcoming smile. Best part of this hotel which I like is after returning from a long day trip tired they didn't felt like driving far to get our dinner done as there were many options just in front of the hotel which was just 1-2 min walking distance from the hotel lobby. They had parking lot just in-front of the main entrance of the hotel. And the area was vey safe and quiet. The room includes microwave and small refrigerator, they also had ice machine on every floor just in-front of the elevator. read more

Please invest in new door cards, the ones you give are very worn. I stay here about once a month during the summer for work. Almost every day the door card gets demagnetized. Stayed overnight for NYE, on the way to see my boyfriend for New Year's Day. It's my second time staying here and it was such a comfortable stay and very quiet which I liked. They decorated for the holidays! The staff provided such good hospitality, very friendly. Comfort Inn has free parking, free wifi, and free breakfast. Also, the damage fee hold of $10.00 is so reasonable compared to other hotels that charge around $75+. I don't think the hotel was completely booked up because I had the option to choose to stay on the 1st or 2nd level. The king suite was perfect! Very clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep on. This time around I noticed the tv monitor is rotational in the room. This is one of the few hotels that have so many channels to choose from, and I was able to watch the NYE countdown til midnight. Also, the shows/movies actually align with what's said on the tv guide. I missed out on the breakfast unfortunately, but it smelled really good. The good They have a great location and their staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is mediocre hot food is blah. My issues "the bad" have to do with the lack of maintenance to the rooms that we have stayed in. In one room, the bathroom ceiling fan looked like it was only being held up by one screw and every time anybody flushed the toilet in our section, the pipes made very noisy sounds. The toilet handle in the last two rooms that we've been in could use fixing. The last room we stayed in we couldn't figure out why our dog was trying to get under the bed. Turns out one of her favorite toys we lost a month prior. I guess we left in our room was under the bed meaning the cleaning staff didn't clean out under the bed for over a month. We found a dusty lollipop and a water bottle.. I brought it to the manager's attention and he said they " have regular cleaning schedules" They good my dog was very happy. She had her toy back. Other good they're close to Walmart, Home Depot, Costco and other shopping stores and they're close to Highway 101. The good the beds are comfortable and I always feel stay safe when I stay there and that our car is safe. The night clerk was friendly and professional. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was very disappointing. At 7 am there was no juice, bacon, or forks. They should of keeping an eye on the food to make sure they didn't run out. Always stocked. read more

My room was very nice and clean and the clerk was friendly/helpful, but my one-night stay involved a parade of minor annoyances. I had to get my door-lock card replaced THREE TIMES (as did the guest next to me); my tv remote intermittently worked; my in-room coffee-maker was missing a part, and when I went down to the lobby the hotel coffee-maker was broken(!) Horrible customer service towards a guest that frequently stays at their hotel . I left a cash deposit and they found towels that they claimed they could not wash so they needed to charge me 50$. They also put me in a room they knew had a broken air conditioner . Instead of switching me into a new room they gave me a box fan . This place is a joke . We stayed here during my daughters wedding in nearby hopland. It was a perfect stay for us. The beds were comfortable and there was a pretty good breakfast in the morning. We also had a lot of fun by the pool Everything was clean and the staff was amazing Melanie saved us twice during our weekend. One was a forgotten purse that someone was trying to claim as their own. From the greeting when we came in to the room, everything was great. Our room had an office area, fold out couch in the living area, a separate wet bar area. Great water pressure in the shower! I had made reservations well in advance for an overnight stay after a long drive. I had been very,very clear we had a cat with us. Upon check-in, I was told , "No cats. No exceptions!" So we were left with no place to stay after a long, long tiring day. I won't be returning to any Comfort Inn! read more

Pet room was nice, quiet and clean. Breakfast was good. Our third party booking service didn't work in getting a double queen room, so we had to take a king with a roll-away bed, which was just a box spring with a blanket. It wasn't possible to sleep on it, so we all shared the king. Recommend booking through the Comfort Suites company website or calling. read more

Besides the elevator floor being sticky since I checked in, I type this at 8am, after construction started in the room next to mine. When I tried to call down, it rang and rang and rang, and after five different calls, and another to the main line from my cell phone, still no answer, I had to get dressed and go down to the lobby. That's where I told them the problem, and I was looked at like I was crazy! Construction at 8am IN the hotel, and I'm crazy. So now I'm up, and awake enough to write this review. I gave them two stars because the beds aren't bad, thought the mini pillows are a nightmare... at least they have real premium channels. And that's the best I can say for this hotel. read more

After a 4 hour drive it was my 1st time coming to UKIAH I decided to stop to COMFORT INN & SUITES, EDUARDO was the one in frost desk and was very disrespectful and rude. As I got to the frost desk and waited 30-40 minutes for somebody to check me in, Eduardo from front desk came from outside smelling a lot like Marijuana, I asked him he smelled a lot like Marijuana and he was just talking back and being very rude Will not be coming here again!!!! read more

Reading reviews online I can never tell if a hotel is a bug-infested hell hole or a decent place where a vocal minority had a bad experience. At any rate, I had an unplanned stay in Ukiah and I was perfectly happy here. The price was cheaper than the two neighboring hotels, and the rate quoted to me in person was the same as stated on the website; no pricing hijinks here. The woman at the front desk was friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was in-room wifi, but it was a bit spotty. The location was also good: near the freeway and right next to a mini strip mall with a few dining options. Nothing to knock your socks off, but enough to keep you fed. Walmart is right across the street for any other emergency supplies. What more do you want in a hotel? read more

We did a last minute reservation and choose Comfort Inn because it was less expensive than the other hotels near by. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I love that you get free breakfast. It's such a nice perk. I love how convenient the hotel is to so many things... in the same parking lot you have Starbucks, restaurants and even an upscale dispensary which just opened up. The only thing that I didn't like was that the bed was very firm. I am critical of beds and haven't found a hotel bed I like since I got my new mattress. read more

COVID-19 WARNING: NO MASKS WORN BY ANY OF THE EMPLOYEES OR GUESTS, INCLUDING THE GENERAL MANAGER! Scary uncomfortable experience staying at this hotel. There were signs on the door stating masks were required by all who enter yet none of the employees were wearing them and no enforcement to ensure that the guests were wearing them. When I pointed this out to the desk clerk and asked to speak with the manager the manager refused to talk to me and told the desk clerk to tell all the employees to wear masks. This lasted about two hours and then no-one was wearing masks again. Finally the general manager showed up and to my shock and horror he was not wearing a mask either nor was he enforcing masks being worn by anybody in the hotel. When he saw me he avoided me, clearly due to his refusal to speak to me at any point during my five day stay regarding my concerns.My family's health was at risk and the staff was rude and cold as a result of my request that they follow COVID-19 regulations that are required by the state of California. Even worse the rooms were filthy, surfaces obviously not wiped down, dirty blankets stuffed in the closet, pizza sauce smeared on the shower curtain, and a dirty toilet. I had to disinfect and clean the entire hotel room before I could feel comfortable and safe to stay there. In addition they have several low income families living in their rooms, dirty children running around barefoot and swimming in the pool with no parental supervision. Women half dressed and barefoot walking through the halls. One family had six children and three adults living in one room. There was an element of drug use and ghetto lifestyle. There were more trashy low income people there than regular hotel guests. The entire hotel was in disarray, boxes of furniture lining all the hallways (evidently they were remodeling the rooms one by one, and even the workers who are doing the remodeling were not wearing masks). When I got home from my stay I realized I had left a couple of items in the room, a necklace and a dress. When I called the hotel they told me that no items were found nor were they present in their lost and found. I asked the clerk what was the protocol when they found items in the room that belong to guests and he stated that they were very clearly instructed to gather any personal items and store them in the lost and found for gas to retrieve. My items were stolen from my room, likely in retaliation from my request for Covid-19 compliance. I have left two more messages for the general manager requesting a call back regarding the theft and the noncompliance. The manager still continues to refuse to talk to me. I filed a formal complaint with the corporate headquarters who agreed to investigate these agree just lacks of noncompliance which is putting everyone in the hotel at risk. read more

Travel to the area and choose Comfort Inn in Ukiah. We we greeted by Cheryl who was very welcoming. She treated us with so much respect and friendly at the same time. We checked in past 10pm and she mentioned she was off at 11 and she looked like she just came in. Her positive energy and the fact that she acknowledge and joked my kids was great. Everything is very clean here, no it's not a high end hotel but the room was quiet, clean and the beds were comfortable. Great location and free breakfast was great. In light of the COVID challenges for businesses, I think Comfort Inn & Suites performed fairly well. I was greeted well and check in was a breeze as it should be. Grabbed a luggage cart and headed to my room. This location is in the middle of a renovation so there was furniture everywhere. Several large items were being stored in the hallway. With the luggage cart and the housekeepers blocking the aisle with their vacuum cleaners and equipment I had to call out for one of the housekeepers to move the equipment. Is that a fire hazard that impedes the ability for people to quickly evacuate? Possibly. In any event, the housekeeper didn't acknowledge or smile even after I presented a very nice good afternoon. Maybe she was having a bad day and she wasn't wearing a mask. I'm good either way but that decision may effect other customers. In any event, to the good part. The room was very clean. The shower had excellent water pressure and the AC was great too. I was curious how well they cleaned the pillows and bedding....hopefully good enough. Parking was easy. It was a quiet evening which is good and the location was perfect; close to pizza, coffee, stores, etc. Overall is very good experience. read more

This hotel is only worth a overnight stay if that. Here on business, refrigerator in room is only big enough to maybe put a 12 pack of cans into. Internet is "high speed" if you're living in the 90s. Wifi is spotty at best. You'll get lucky if you can connect to the Starbucks wifi across the parking lot of a better connection. Definitely not worth staying at. read more

The Wifi didn't work in my room. I called to ask the front desk for help, and the person told me "oh that happens sometimes." She then gave me a bogus number to call for help (was a "no working number" and hung up). After the number didn't work, I called the front desk again numerous times, and the person simply wouldn't answer the phone. Very unprofessional. All a busy, tired traveler needs really is a comfortable room, adequate coffee, and Wifi to be able to get work done. This place has an average room, a black liquid that in no way resembles coffee, and faulty Wifi. With bad customer service to boot. Stinky, stinky, stinky! The hallways, the room, the bathroom. Nothing else really matters when a place reeks. My husband is usually not as bothered by odors as I am, but even he was grossed out. No compassion for guests effected by the evacuations. After spending over $1000 we were able to go home and checked out at approximately 1pm. The front desk assured us that the manager, Lenae or something would call me to discuss the nights charge. I have yet to receive a call 4 days later and she is "never there." Nobody at their main line seems to speak clearly enough to understand that nor can they get me a manager. I just keep being transferred around. This is not your friendly community based caring hotel. We have a reservation tomorrow during the pandemic. My one year old son and I are traveling by bus. I called to ask to check in at 1pm when our bus arrives, instead of 3pm. Linnae answered the phone and informed us that there was no guarantee we could check in at 1pm. This is disappointing during a national pandemic when occupancy is around 25%. We were invited to wait inside the lobby with our masks on. I don't understand the logic of making us wait when there are rooms available for social distancing. read more

Motion lights in a motel room is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I'm writing this after being woke 3 times already because ever time you roll over in bed BING goddamn light comes on. This feature is absolutely awful. It's 4:41am and I'm wide awake now because this is the third time it's happened. Of course you have to get out of bed to go turn the stupid thing off, yes there seems to be a little delay and it will stay off for a little bit but as soon as you roll over or move BOOM light on! And the switch is at the door. This sucks. Replace these stupid things ASAP whoever is in charge. read more

We reserved exactly 2 months in advance directly with Choice Hotels, not a third party booking system. In our reservation we noted that we have an 8 pound dog. We were exhausted after a long drive and were disappointed to be told that there wasn't a king suite available for a dog. We agreed to regular king room even though he said that the price would be the same. A couple minutes later he said that he couldn't do that and we could have a room with a double bed. My husband is very tall and that just wouldn't work, especially when we were paying about $200 per night with the pet fee. Then he told us that we didn't tell them about the dog in advance. I had my reservation printed out and showed him the note on the Choice Hotel site. The clerk, who was sick by the way, kept saying "Sorry, guys", but didn't offer a solution. We left and drove another 4 hours that night to get home. I did promise him that I would give them a poor review.. So, Sorry, Guy. The next morning a credit card charge showed up. When I called I was told that I was a "no show". I had to be peeled off the ceiling at that point. I spoke to the manager and I have to admit that she was more than apologetic. She was very kind and reversed the charge immediately. We travel regularly and Comfort Inn has been one of my "go to" hotels for several years. For the price and for the location, it's lovely. I like that it's close by to a Starbucks and some chain restaurants. Boyfriend and I did not check out too many of the amenities while we were there, but we did enjoy the free breakfast that the hotel provided. You really can't complain too much when it's free! Our room had a beautiful view of the distant mountains so long as we didn't look directly down too much, as it then showed us a rundown parking lot in the foreground. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a cheap place to stay that won't make you feel like you're in the middle of some seedy hostel film. read more
