You can see all the sights in one day. Fast way to get from one side to the other. You can jump off at any time and easy to park in small areas as there is not a lots of parking. If your handicap it's the only way to do Key West. Bring an extra handicap registration paper to help ensure parking. Zachary Taylor Fort and Kermits Key lime pie a must see. The staff here are awesome and prices were great. They even gave us an easy to follow map of the area. read more

We rented a golf cart for 5 days. It's was easy to pick up from one of their 2 Key West locations. The price was the best I found on line for the island. They will pick you up and drop you off at the airport if needed. They offer a discount for first responders which was very much appreciated. The golf cart worked well and was very comfortable. we rented a four seater golf cart yesterday (cart # 50). The breaks were awful. Twice I ended up in the middle of an intersection when I had a red light because I couldn't get it to stop on time. Also the  accelerator had to be pushed down half way before it engaged and then it took off like a rabbit. There was no gradual acceleration. I find both of these issues to be dangerous. I hope you will respond that these issues have been addressed. read more

Called Sunshine in search of an electric car and they were fantastic. Shelly was great on the phone while we shopped around and called her back several times. When we decided to rent the electric car, they immediately sent Flipper to pick us up in a shuttle on the far north side of the island and bring us to the scooter free of charge. Flipper was great and recommended plenty of places to eat and drink. Based on his recommendations, we had a phenomenal time at various happy hour locations in the Seaport district. We called back the next day and extended our rental and even had to bring in the car for a switch when the charge wasn't working properly. Amy immediately switched it out for us, no questions asked. Had a great time renting bikes and touring key west! We rented bikes for 4 hours. Wish we thought of renting scooters earlier as they were all booked so definitely recommend booking in advance if scooters is what you want. Wish the bikes had hand brakes instead of using the pedal as brakes but regardless had a great time! They provided a map and showed us the spots to check out. Cost is reasonable read more

On yelp it said it was the cheapest place for rentals, and it is if you book it ahead of time. As a spontaneous thing, it was not the cheapest thing. The guy at the booth there had a terrible attitude, especially when my family asked questions. Since we didn't want to walk elsewhere, we rented a couple. The guy who taught us how to ride it was very nice and the guy on the phone too! The drive was incredible. So convenient and so fun!! I've been looking into buying a scooter for my hometown because of the experience. I would 10/10 do it again. read more

My wife and a buddy of mine never rode a scooter. I was a bit worried, but the staff made them feel easy about it, and they got the hang of it pretty quick. As luck would have it, my wife made a too-wide turn coming out of a small parking space and hit a car. Minor damage to both, nothing serious. Sunshine scooters was there almost as fast as the cop taking the report. We had a new bike and on our way in less than half an hour, no exaggeration! 10 days later, time to turn the scooters in, and Hurricane Eta hit (Nov 2020). I drove my scooter to the shop in the storm, but I wouldn't let my wife or buddy try it for obvious reasons. I told the staff I would be bringing the other scooters in one at a time. "Joe" told me not to worry about it, he would just go get the scooters and trailer them back to the shop. Great prices, Military Discount, Phenomenal Service! Do it! read more

The setup is fantastic. I appreciate the friendly and supportive staff that helped our group get set up for the road. For several of us, this was our first scooter experience. Staff took extra time in explaining how the process works. Love the 'drop them off overnight, anytime before 9am', or whenever your 24 hour ride stops. My friends and I were on a cruise and our cruise ship stopped by Key West, FL for about 4 hours. We didn't have much time but really wanted to go to the beach; it was going to take us another 30-40 minutes by foot to get to the beach we wanted to go to. Randomly while walking through town, we just wanted to check out rates and stopped by this place (the one downtown on Duval St.) They were super friendly, quick, and signing up was easy. The whole process for 8 bikes with signing & payment took about 10 minutes. We were well on our way. They also gave us locks (since bikes get stolen pretty easily if they're not locked up in Key West). Returning was even quicker and easier than getting them. He just needed to count the number of locks and bikes. read more

Picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at their lot and drove us back to our hotel afterwards. The prices were lower than the other 2 we looked into. I had a spill with minimal damage to the scooter and the attendant was more concerned with my slight injury. Definitely go back in the future. read more

We have been down to key west 5 times in the last 20 years and we always pick a day to rent a scooter for the day. These guys are by far the best to deal with and there prices and personalities are the best. Even if your looking to rent a electric 2-4 or 6 seat mobile they have it all. Even if they are out of what your looking for they have other locations that they can serve you from. They charged me the same price if I was returning the scooter at 4 pm when they close or if I kept it until 9:00 the next morning. Plus you have the option to drop it off anytime after 4 pm when they close if you don't want to keep it overnight they have a spot to park your scooter rental and a key drop off box read more

Was in kW on a Monday morning. This place had a nice website with reasonable rates and was around the corner from our hotel. The group we were with walked over to rent scooters. Apparently the guy at the both was having a lazy day. He told us the $35 a day rate was for reservations only. ( just a reminder.... It was a Monday and they had a lot full of scooters!) he then told us the rate was $50. Being a seasonal local, I know damn well that a reservation was not the issue.... He was just too busy on his phone to do the paperwork for my guests and I! Oh well.... I hope the owner reads this because your employee lost you a lot of $. Not to mention my business and the business of my guests when in town! We went down the street to a different company and all got scooters for $35. Very bad business... And very sad! Amazing and so professional! The service was incredible! The prices, you can't beat! We went to 2 places before and they were by far the best. My husband has never rode a scooter before and the gentleman who helped us, taught him how to use it before we took it out. Gave us a map and said if we want to do any water sports or anything else, to go back and he'll take care of us. Very friendly staff! They rent bicycles, scooters, electric cars and Harleys. Their rates are on the better side compared to MOST on the island, I do recall one or two places having ever so slightly better rates but not as many locations or as helpful of staff members. You can get a scooter or golf cart anywheres but these guys have top notch customer service. Call out to flipper and gaston for above average service. I thought a golf cart rental would be boring but its a cool and fun way to explore island. Keep in mind bikes carts scooters and pedestrians own the streets. read more

We rented a scooter for our two night stay. The staff was real friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Don't bother using your own car in key west.they even picked us up from our hotel. It's much much easier to park a scooter anywhere you want. This place is hands down the best scooter rental place. They let you drop the scooter off after hours if you rent for the whole day.
