I am a Midwestern girl, so I am no idea what heatstroke was all about. I found out real quick oh, and that is when we found JV Rental. The gentleman behind the counter was as sweet as sweet could be. He understood our predicament very well, and it was literally less than five minutes from filling out the paperwork to taking off in our golf cart. We were a group from Margaritaville and Margaritaville has electric golf carts, so driving a gas, golf cart was a bit different, a little rougher, but all in all the experience was amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you J. V. Rental. You literally saved this Midwestern girls life because apparently unbeknownst to me I had a really bad case of heat stroke. You are simply the best.

We rented a 6-person golf cart for 3 days and also opted for the backpack cooler (that came with a lock so no one could steal it while leaving it on the cart). They delivered the golf cart to our condo and walked us through the rules, laws, and tips for parking. We had a blast driving around the island and the golf cart was in great condition. The only thing I wish they offered with the rental is a golf cart phone holder. Would have been nice to be able to have my phone up higher while looking at Waze for directions to places. You can buy a magnetic one on Amazon for $17 and I HIGHLY recommend doing that. The cart came with a killer sound system that you can connect to via Bluetooth on your phone. Also had fun color changing lights underneath for night driving. We ended up changing our pick up location for the cart on our last day and they had no issue with us changing that. They communicated with the us regularly via text and even offered up tips for places to eat, beaches to visit, etc. 5-stars for this company! Will use again next time we visit!

He provided two options, but we ultimately went with Hydro Thunder due to the price and being okay with walking about 15 minutes to the pickup spot. We gave the place a call and the owner picked up the phone and I asked for the price of the moped was for a week and he knocked off a couple hundred dollars and settled on around 280. We picked it up that night. It was the best experience on the trip and they even filled it up twice for no charge at all. When I'm back down in Key west I'm going back and going to see if the owner would do 250 for a week! Moral of the story always see if prices are negotiable! Was a great experience no hassle at all!
