I've been using the drop off device for years. Expertly cleaned and folded. They made sure to ask if I wanted free and clear detergent , which I did. Process: they weigh your dirty laundry and charge by the pound. The day I was in, about $2 a lb (just under) It was ready about 2 hours later. Somebody put this place out of its misery! I'm only giving two stars because the attendant was delightful. But she had a lot to apologize for: ATM not working, only 3 washers take credit cards and none of the dryers do. It's 2025! The machines are old and poorly kept, 7 of the dryers are out of order, the snack machine, built to take cards, only takes bills (fine) but DOESN'T GIVE CHANGE. The laundry supply dispenser was mostly vacant, there's no WiFi that was readily apparent (despite the large sign in the window, which also advertises the [non-working] ATM). But: it does have a restroom and provides nifty cups for your quarters (but you'll have to go somewhere else to get cash before you can get change!). The change machine works! A coat of paint and some 21st century tech would make this a place I come back to. Otherwise: nope. They haven't even claimed the business to read reviews, so clearly the owners don't care, and it shows. read more

Travelers beware, locals hope for another laundromat to open. Check the dates on reviews, this used to be owned by Sunshine Center prior to late 2023. Ever since this laundromat was bought out by Lighthouse Laundry, it's gone downhill fast. It seems like every other machine is out of order, and when they break they just leave them broken (several have been broken for months). Of the machines that do work, they often reek of mold or mildew, have visible growth around door gaskets, and will happily eat your money. Staff aren't much help, either; the last time a machine "ate" my money (I paid with a card-- $8 to wash a load of laundry for what? Certainly not to maintain the machines) I was told it must've been my fault (who knows, maybe it was) for doing something wrong and I'd have to pay again. None of these issues existed prior to Lighthouse's acquisition of this laundromat. It's the only one in town, though, so you're kind of stuck with it. Hopefully someone opens another one in the area... and doesn't let Lighthouse buy them out.. read more

This is a 24 hour full service laundromat. I was there around midnight doing laundry on our way to Acadia National Park from Cooperstown NY. We had an Airbnb in Brunswick for one night so I picked this place to get all our clothes clean. To start it is super secure for a 24 hour laundromat and the local police station is directly next store which probably helps keep it clean and safe overnight. It was very clean and quiet inside, a few people were in and out doing laundry but not much else was going on. They had change machines and vending machines and all were in working order. There were lots of washing machine size options. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this laundromat and late at night was no problem! read more

Vacation laundry is horrible. After you get home, you have to plow through it all in one night. Particularly when of the mini members of the clan needs to wear that certain shirt the next day or they are simply going to die. During vacation laundry is worse. Ain't no body got time for that. Solution, you say? Fluff n fold service! Where have you been all my life? Our clan of four generated 44 pounds of laundry and rang the bell at $66. The polo shirts were even returned on hangers. So what happens when you are trying to get your clothes done on vacation and you go to the laundromat and put too many quarters in the washing machine? Well at this laundromat you are told sorry you can't get those quarters back!!!! Also what is amazing is the MORE LAUNDRY you stuff into the machine, the LESS TIME the machine gives you (though the lady was saying she thought it worked the other way). So beware fellow goer's of the public washing places. It is cheaper here than the place in Four Corners where the other laundromat is but you best count your quarters because here they do not care about how much extra quarters you put in -that's just pure extra profit for them - and over stuffing the washer just means getting less wash time and thus less clean clothes out of the machine. Maybe next time I will just throw the clothes into the corner and buy new ones to wear... could be cheaper that these rates. read more

It is a clean facility with new washers and dryers. A little expensive but worth sucking up for the fairly pleasant surroundings. What made me only leave a2 star review was the employee working there. I had just finished folding a ton of laundry and was preparing to return home. A couple pieces of washed tissue and some lint and stickers were there (most were not mine). I was getting things in bags and was going to pick up what was there after I put my bags in the car when the employee stopped by and said "thanks for cleaning up the mess". I told her I wasn't finished but was returning to tidy up and get the rest of mine things and she replied "oh sure". I have worked in customer service for many years and customer shaming is never cool. It's too bad she has to clean up the laundromat but we all have chores at work and making customers feel unwelcome isn't how to vent about your job. read more

Sunshine Laundry's Wash, Dry and Fold service is an incredible time and life saver! I have a lot of house guests in the summer months and they use a lot of sheets and towels! It would take me hours at home to do all this laundry ... and I hate folding sheets. They are totally professional and always pleasant. The clean laundry is folded perfectly and bagged. They have never lost a single item of mine. Whether you're a home owner or a renter or vacationer, I cannot recommend this service more highly! Brothers clothes stolen from the dryer while he was sitting out front of the laundry mat in the middle of the day in broad daylight. Woman working offered no help and claimed the cameras that are in clear view dont record. She was present in laundry during the theft but her only help was to point at the sign that says her business isn't responsible. That's it. So beware. Obviously thieves know the cameras are fake and dont record. read more

Work service ever!!! I have never written one of these reviews but after the service I received today I feel like I need to let people know about this place. I went to Sunshine Center to wash my horses blanket. I should also let everyone know that they do not have any industrial sized washers, only super load washers. I put my horses blanket in the wash and everything was fine until I tried to put my blanket in the dryer. I unloaded my blanket into one of the laundry carts, wheeled it over to the dryer and put it in. I noticed while I was putting it in the dryer that it was still fairly wet, but I proceeded anyway. I went back to check on my other loads of laundry and I see a woman over by my dryer asking whose it was. I went back to the dryer and told her it was mine. She told me that it was too wet and I need to spin dry it. I said OK and asked her what machine would be the best to use to do that. She then took my blanket shoved it into a triple load washer and very loudly started ranting about how I had no common sense and how terrible my $200 blanket was. The other customers shot me looks of surprise at this woman's rant. She then proceeded to tell me that "they couldn't keep doing this for me." I've never been to this laundromat so I'm not sure who she thought she was talking to. I told her that I wouldn't return to her facility and her rant continued. She said it was fine by her and that she didn't want me back there. After she stepped away I was told by other customers that this behavior seems to be a regular occurrence there. I was amazed at just how rude and unprofessional this woman was. All she had to do was ask me to put my blanket thru another spin cycle. I never intend to mistreat anyone else's property and I was more than happy to accommodate any suggestions she had. I certainly didn't deserve to be belittled in front of everyone in the laundromat and called names. I've never seen anyone act so unprofessional and fly off the handle so easily. read more

I have only used the machines never the service. The facility is clean, it has magazines and books, and an atm. While it is open 24/7, the attendant is here 9-6. There are single, double, triple, and super washers. The price is reasonable single is$3, double is $4, triple is $5.50, and super is $6.50. The large dryer is $2 for 32 minutes and the smaller are 6 min. increments for a quarter. There is also a soap dispenser $1 per load. It is situated across the street from the police station! read more
