I think the best thing about this laundromat is the service - the woman who works here seems like the most delightful person. The prices are okay, but I'm not fond of having to buy a laundry card for $5 and having limited options for refilling it - the only other option being to use coins. I might be a bit spoiled as the last laundromat I used let you use a credit card at the washer/ dryer itself. Parking is a little difficult - it's not a big lot and it's not easy to navigate. Last wash is at 5 pm and the doors are locked after that - they'll open them for you, but they're locked even for leaving the building, which doesn't feel safe. Did my laundry here for a couple years since it was nearby. The place could really use a deep clean. There is a lot of build up of detergent where you pour it in the machine. Prices are not bad. They use a laundry card system, but also have machines that take credit/debit or coins. The staff has been helpful when I've needed assistance, I just feel like they could do some more cleaning of machines/floors. They also have a dry cleaning service (they send the clothing out, so takes a few days). Overall not the worst laundromat, but I've been to better. Just was convenient location wise. read more

First time using the Laundry Depot! Falon greeted me with the kindest smile and the friendliest hello! She was super helpful and walked me through all the steps. Great customer service! The Laundry Depot is clean, lots of washer and dryer choices and options, you can pay by coin or use a card ( a card you have to load money onto). They have an ATM, a coin machine, options to buy washing and drying materials, and a vending machine for snacks. You can drop off laundry to be washed as well which is nice. Locking the door in the face of people who show up prior to last wash time is pretty abhorrent behavior for a business. If they are 5 minutes AFTER last wash time, sure. But 5 minutes before is still prior to. Maybe you need to consider making your last wash time earlier if this is really such an issue for you. You must really not want business if you're also telling people to go to the other laundromat when you do this. read more

3 star for good prices and friendly managers. Can't rely on it being open or closed even though their hours on the building say open, same as the voicemail when you call the store. I have had my clothes be locked inside even though it's 6. If last wash is 5, then doors should be locked at the EARLIEST, 7. But really, 7:30. I haven't been to many laundromats so not much to compare to, but the staff was friendly and lots of options. For debit/credit cards, you can only use the 80lb capacity washer. Everything else is either with coins or one of their money cards (initial purchase $5). The large washer (80lb capacity) is $10.50 a load, and smaller washers are $3.50 to $6.50. Dryers are $0.25/5 minutes for smaller ones, and $0.25/4 minutes for the 45lb capacity. This is all for self-service; they also offer a wash/dry/fold service for additional costs. read more

If you have to do your laundry at a laundromat... choose this one! The employee that is working is SO helpful and nice. This is my first experience at a laundromat so I was a little bit lost. She explained everything to me and showed me exactly what to do. There are a couple different washers to choose from. Some take quarters and some take your debit / credit card. I was able to throw large loads in and get it done fast! I also see that they will wash & fold your laundry for you. If I'm ever in a bind I would totally do that! I'll be back here. read more

There are more than 15 laundromats in the Portland area, all of which (as you can imagine) are practically the same. That being said, I have been coming to Laundry Depot exclusively for years now. Every time I come in and bump into someone I know from the community we always end up saying the same thing... "Colleen is the SOLE reason why I come here". This is the topic of almost every encounter I have with a familiar face while doing laundry. Strangers will even join in with their appreciation of her phenomenal customer service and willingness to go above and beyond. Colleen's commitment to Laundry Depot's patrons runs so deep that I've felt compelled to write a yelp review for a laundromat... I don't think I've ever even written a review before. Colleen brings hundreds of dollars a week in return customers a week, just from the people I personally know who are exclusively going to Laundry Depot because of her. This is your one stop shop for dry cleaning, regular washer/dryer laundromat services, Internet, and (this is SO Portland) TANNING! I personally believe that indoor tanning is horrible and leaves you looking like an Oompa Loompa destined for skin cancer, but what a great way to multitask. I have a wonderful washer but a broken dryer, so I make my way out to Portland's various laundromats a a couple times a year. Things I don't like: while there are a lot of spots, the lots are very crooked, most of the machines take card only (4 coin operated dryers). Things I do like: it's bright/clean, wifi (didn't try it myself though), a LOT of washers and dryers (I've had places run out... ain't nobody got time to wait for someone else's load to dry!), color TVs, plenty of parking, and a friendly employee to greet you! I was searching for a good laundry spot that was close to home (aka easier ubering). Laundry Depot was clean, convenient, and had a restaurant right around the corner-great place to pass the time while waiting for laundry to be done! This place is on a busy spot of Forrest Ave (the sucky part with all the construction going on) but plenty around you if you're looking to kill time rather than sitting and waiting for your clothes to be done. The attendant was a pleasant young lady with blonde hair that showed me the "ropes" as I had never been there before. She went out of her way to help me. A little pricy, but I'd return just for the friendly service and great location. read more

WARNING: dont buy the laundry cards, they cost $5 even before you put any money on them and you can only use them on about half the machines. This information isn't posted anywhere, and once you buy the card you cant get quarters off of it or your money back - you can only just use them on some of the machines. Clean, friendly, reliable! We've been doing laundry here for a few years now and never think of going anywhere else. Quarter machines or card machines, and a cheap transfer service. Staff is very nice and helpful -- it's always clean and usually not too crowded. Parking on site, close to many Woodford Corner area restaurants. read more

This laundromat is pretty much like any other laundry mat youve been too. But I've been coming to this certain one for over a year now because of the great customer service I received from a worker named phalen. She ran right outside with the metal wheeled baskets to help me unload my car. Not to mention she gives me an estimate of when all my laundry will be completed and she always gets it done that same day for me!! Wash,Dry & Folded, Now now folks I'm not talking about any type of light loads here I'm talking 80-90 lbs!!! She does a fantastic job folding them though the most! So I most definitely recommend this laundry mat to everyone! Also if your looking for a nice quick tan the booth they have there works incredible believe it or not!! The equipment may be older but the bulbs are new. read more

Be advised, last load in is at 6:30pm. If you show up - minute after that, you're out of luck. The attendant wouldn't cut me any slack even though I just needed to wash and not dry (I would gladly line dry). read more
