First time using the Laundry Depot! Falon greeted me with the kindest smile and the friendliest hello! She was super helpful and walked me through all the steps. Great customer service! The Laundry Depot is clean, lots of washer and dryer choices and options, you can pay by coin or use a card ( a card you have to load money onto). They have an ATM, a coin machine, options to buy washing and drying materials, and a vending machine for snacks. You can drop off laundry to be washed as well which is nice. Great experience and so thankful for the friendliness!

If you have to do your laundry at a laundromat... choose this one! The employee that is working is SO helpful and nice. This is my first experience at a laundromat so I was a little bit lost. She explained everything to me and showed me exactly what to do. There are a couple different washers to choose from. Some take quarters and some take your debit / credit card. I was able to throw large loads in and get it done fast! I also see that they will wash & fold your laundry for you. If I'm ever in a bind I would totally do that! I'll be back here.

    Money card. $5.

This laundromat was pretty clean and has many washers and dryers. They have a little sitting area…read morewhere you can wait until your laundry is done. They also have tables where you can fold your clothes and other items.

Whaaaaat happened to this place?…read more For the last ten years of living in the neighborhood, this has been the tried and true, best ever laundromat in existence. Elvis lamp, cute dogs, super nice people? Coin machine, places to sit, brightly lit, parking outside? What's not to like?? I had a day-ruiningly bad experience here this morning. Laundry gives me crazy anxiety. Don't ask me why. It simply does. It's stressful living in a city and on the 4th floor of a walk up and trying to finagle laundry and quarters and carrying things with spaghetti arms! I digress. Usually Soap Bubble is fabulous in helping my frantic anxiety ass when I can't get the card readers to work, or I need advice on which machine to use for whichever size load I have that day (generally gigantic). Today, the card reader on the washing machine wasn't working - this happens to me quite a bit. I tried two cards, swiping in several ways, and probably 15 times they said declined. I know these cards work- I've used them here on these machines a zillion times! The last time this happened to me, I went up to the counter, and the employee was so kind, per usual. They came over and swiped it with their magic touch, and it worked. They didn't make me feel bad at all. It seemed like a regular thing that happens to everybody! This morning I approached the attendant on duty, who I had not seen before. I let her know that my silly ass couldn't get the card reader to work, and asked for some help. She came over to the machine and WAS SO. BRUTALLY. MEAN. I swiped the card and she said, "You're swiping it wrong. You're swiping it wrong. Why would you swipe it like that? Is that how you swipe it at the grocery store?" Not in a joking way... in a very rude, almost-made-me-cry way. Like, why am I being bullied at the laundromat right now? Anyway, she helped me by letting me pay at the computer desk. All while being the rudest lady. I don't get it. Why work in customer service when you despise human beings? I'm too sensitive, and I'm sure everyone else would brush this off. But before I went my boyfriend did joke, "Careful of that lady, she is... testy. Try to avoid that." So, she has a reputation. Laundry is already a no-fun chore that causes many of us stress. Why add to it and make your customers feel stupid and like a burden? Especially when they're being kind???? Sorry to be lame. Just like, WTF. Now I have even more anxiety around laundry, because I have to worry about being yelled at by the Soap Bubble employee. C'mon guys!!!!

About two months ago I brought two jackets in to be dry cleaned and zippers replaced. On my jacket…read morethe lady said I bet your jacket zipper just needs some lubricants on it. So she tried that and the zipper seemed to work but I asked her to please let the professional check the zipper first to ensure it's going to be okay as winter is coming. I pick up the jackets about two weeks later. My husband's jacket was fixed - great! I go to wear mine and the zipper is completely broken. So this is disappointing. For one the lubricants did not work and two, the seamstress clearly did not check the jacket. Probably no fault to the seamstress. So I take the jacket back. I told them "hey the jacket needs a new gold colored zipper". I write down gold colored zipper, the lady makes a note of this ( the jacket has gold colored hardware). She says it's going to be about six weeks. Okay great. They call saying the jacket is ready. I go to pick it up, six weeks later, and they put a black zipper on the jacket. If they did not have a gold colored zipper than you call and ask me first if it's okay to put on a black zipper. You don't just proceed to do something that ruins the aesthetic of the jacket. I asked why this happened and a very kind lady explained that zippers are hard to come by since Covid. That's understandable. However after a quick search on Google, I noticed quickly you can buy gold zippers for $8 bucks. So I am very disappointed. I will call back Monday to see if they can fix this or give me my money back. Based on how they handle this... I'll update the review. For now I have been disappointed twice in a row and likely won't ever be back. Also, there is one young lady who works there who is anything but friendly and welcoming. More of a "what in the heck do you want" vibe. Yikes. No thanks!

I was extremely impressed with my wedding dress cleaning and preservation at Pratt Abbott Forest…read moreAve.! This location was recommended to me by a friend, who lives out of state but drove nearly 3 hours to this location to get her wedding dress cleaned and preserved last year. After my wedding, I took her recommendation and used them to take care of my dress (I'm local!) It took about two months for my dress to be complete, but I was very impressed with the process from start to finish (and the staff I worked with!)  A couple weeks after I picked up my dress, I received a card from Angela, the Garment Care Coordinator, with a thank-you note congratulating me on my wedding and a $30 gift card for any future service. I felt confident knowing my dress was in good hands and am so happy that my dress is finally home safe! I highly recommend this location for any of your wedding dress cleaning and preservation needs.
