But she had a lot to apologize for: ATM not working, only 3 washers take credit cards and none of the dryers do. It's 2025! The machines are old and poorly kept, 7 of the dryers are out of order, the snack machine, built to take cards, only takes bills (fine) but DOESN'T GIVE CHANGE. The laundry supply dispenser was mostly vacant, there's no WiFi that was readily apparent (despite the large sign in the window, which also advertises the [non-working] ATM). But: it does have a restroom and provides nifty cups for your quarters (but you'll have to go somewhere else to get cash before you can get change!). The change machine works! A coat of paint and some 21st century tech would make this a place I come back to. Otherwise: nope. They haven't even claimed the business to read reviews, so clearly the owners don't care, and it shows.

It's not that hard to label your machines with correct prices. Staff member was rude and tried to make it seem like it was my fault, and then she started breaking down and crying after I said she was being deceptive (which I felt horrible about; I was trying my best to be respectful while still expressing my valid concern and dissatisfaction). Owner did come in to the store and refunded me a few minutes later which I appreciated. Other than that, the place was okay. Machines were available.

The female attendant indicated it would 2 days before she could get to our laundry so we decided to do our own because we did not have enough clothes. She said she would fit us in if we could pick them up the next day after 3PM which we did. This is two years in a row that the same woman has gone above and beyond. Unfortunately she was not on the premises when we returned because I had planned giving her a gratuity. Hopefully I can make it up to her on our next trip.

The prices are okay, but I'm not fond of having to buy a laundry card for $5 and having limited options for refilling it - the only other option being to use coins. I might be a bit spoiled as the last laundromat I used let you use a credit card at the washer/ dryer itself. Parking is a little difficult - it's not a big lot and it's not easy to navigate. Last wash is at 5 pm and the doors are locked after that - they'll open them for you, but they're locked even for leaving the building, which doesn't feel safe. My building's laundry room is going to be fixed soon I hope. But I didn't mind coming here.

Prices are not bad. They use a laundry card system, but also have machines that take credit/debit or coins. They also have a dry cleaning service (they send the clothing out, so takes a few days). Overall not the worst laundromat, but I've been to better. Just was convenient location wise.

So, I have checked out a handful of laundromats in the Lewiston/Auburn area and I've decided this is my favorite. (Disclaimer: I don't use the washers, only the dryers.) But, the nice lady who works there is very helpful and she recognized a new face when I walked in, so she gave me the run down of how to use the dryers. You can also leave your clothes for drop off and pick up. All the machines take cards or coins which is so handy. They are all pretty efficient, I've never waited more than 45 minutes for a huge load of clothes to dry. There's a couple folding tables, a handful of carts to roll around your clothes in and a TV playing your typical daytime shows. Most importantly, it's clean. The floors are clean, the machines are clean and even the parking lot is clean. I recommend.

Before moving here, I was at my dry cleaner's 2-3 times a week. We were on a first name basis. She gave me a present when my son was born. We definitely went out more, wore more dry clean only clothes, and lived 2 minutes away. But here I live 15-20 minutes from the closest dry cleaner. It seems crazy. Anthony's is close to my work and thus has won my heart. They are not the fastest (but I've learned that Maine works at a Maine pace). You just have to embrace that you might have a 5 day turn around time instead of next day. Maybe that's an option and I probably should ask in case I need something in a hurry. But my clothes came back clean and the cost was reasonable. I can't ask for much more.

The lady I've interacted with has been very helpful. The first time I came I was trying to figure out how to set up the dryer and she came over and explained it to me. But they do clean, they just can't keep up with the demands. It does get really busy and quite crowded on weekends, something to keep in mind.
