Great friendly atmosphere, lots of windows and sunshine today! The house coffee was good. The meal came out quickly and prepared very well. Price point was where it should be for a mountain town. read more

Sunshine Café - Huevos rancheros with green chili and scrambled eggs. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Silverthorne, Colorado

Outstanding service. Quality food and no wait time. Visited twice during my week long trip.

The Santa Fe omelette was the bomb. Cute little place in a strip mall. Good gluten free options.

I've been a regular here for many years. Always friendly staff and quick service. Even on the busiest of days, the staff is happy and smiling while hustling to get the crowds fed. This is always a great spot to bring hungry family for breakfast! read more

Very bad service for Hispanic/Latino, waited for over 45mins only to be treated very poorly, everyone in other tables were greeted with a hello or good morning even after being seated after us but not us. It was only me and husband and service was awful and so dry, sucks how people working in restaurants think that only one type of people are good tippers. read more

Had a quick bite to eat here while out shopping - French toast and crispy bacon were cooked perfectly! Waitress was friendly and service was efficient. Restaurant was packed and had a nice vibe. read more

Food was good, the overall feel of the restaurant was comfortable. When we arrived I thought we were in for a long wait but was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated. I deducted a star for service because the waitress/cook overlooked one of our party's breakfast order. (Which can happen with a large party and a full restaurant). After advising the waitress of the oversight there was no explanation, or attempt at any kind of apology. We had a table of 6 adults, after around 10 or 15 minutes and no update on the status of our missing meal, 5 of us shared our breakfast with 6th person. As the waitress began clearing our table she told us that the missed order would be up shortly. My thought was read the room! I asked her to cancel the order and asked for the bill. read more

The food was disappointed. We tried breakfast and lunch items and neither went well. The price point seemed higher than I'd expect for such mediocre food and service. Slow. I regret going. read more

Average food nothing special about this place at all plus very pricey for what you get

Great service. Food came quick for how busy it was. Platters were awesome! Bbbnnnnnnn

We got in line as we headed out the door and a table was ready for us just as we pulled in the parking lot. We got a sandwich, huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict, and steak and eggs and all plates were clean. The waiter was timely and helpful. read more

Pretty average food. Not bad and not great. They turn out the food pretty quickly so not a long wait even when you see large groups waiting out front. read more

This place was really busy on a Sunday morning. We got seated with in 20min which was great but once we sat down and ordered it took about 40 min to get our food. The cinnamon roll was good but I don't if that was because we were hungry or it was tasty. Overall the food average. Having to wait a really long time for made the experience much lower than my initial expectations. read more

We come to Colorado annually and this café is a must stop. The friendly staff, wonderful food and cozy environment has you feeling welcomed. Good job Sunshine cafe read more

We came in based on pictures of this gooey cinnamon roll so we got that and a side of bacon. It's a cute little breakfast dinner, warm and cozy inside. Staff was super sweet! The cinnamon roll wasn't as good as it look though, the bread was a little hard and the icing was bitter. The bacon was bacon. They have a great menu so it should be noted this review is based solely on the cinnamon roll read more

Sunshine Café - BBQ burger add a fried egg! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Silverthorne, Colorado

Very Mexican food inspired, but there are other options too. One of the best breakfast options in this area. I loved the enchilada and eggs breakfast, but there are so many other items on the menu I would love to come back and try. It took some time to get the food, and I hope next time would be quicker. read more

Do NOT miss out on the cinnamon roll. Soft all the way through, with frothy cream cheese frosting, and a bit of tang from citrus. Plus it's the size of a large man's fist, so enough for one person for breakfast or for two people to share. If you get nothing else, get this! We also had the large stack french toast and the biscuits and gravy. They were good but fairly standard fare, not something I would travel out of my way for. We came at 11am on a Sunday and waited about 40 minutes, so plan ahead because they are popular. read more

I've dined in quite a few times & have personally never been disappointed. Breakfast is always great, and quick friendly service regardless of how packed they are. But today I ordered through door dash, and when I selected the "medium rare" option for my burger, they definitely understood the assignment! It's sooooo good, perfectly cooked, juicy & flavorful. Outstanding and delicious - eggs Benedict was best I've ever had! Great service! Biscuits and gravy was outstanding.

So many choices and so little time. To start, I had the world's best hot chocolate. To eat, I had the Enchiladas & eggs. I got one Chicken and 1 chorizo. Both were delicious and the homemade salsa was great on top. And our server, Ashley, was awesome. Can't wait to go back. read more

Needed breakfast and we got right in.... I changed up and ordered the blue river special and added the green chili. (Extra onion too) incredible and now my favorite here at sunshine. Andrea was boring and ordered her standard Benedict.... I score a 7.9575. Good comfortable food and reliable service.... read more

Sunshine Cafe was worth the wait! Everything was so hearty and flavorful, perfect for hangover food lol. They didn't have the cinnamon roll when we came but we went by the next morning to grab it to-go and it was delish. Enchiladas & Eggs were a great combination with the crispy hashbrowns underneath. BLT was stacked. Burrito was huge! def recommend if in Silverthorne/Dillon. read more

I came here with high expectations since it's 4.5 stars, but as usual with small town eateries I don't think the locals actually know what a 4.5 star meal is no offense. The service was totally normal and fine so nothing wrong there. The food just left a bit to be desired. We got the cinnamon roll because it looked so good in the pictures but it was really just a grocery store level roll. The icing was separating as we were eating it. The French toast I got was meh pretty dry for a French toast but like generally acceptable. The sausage gravy with biscuits was good. I gotta say though the eggs for everyone were not good. Even in the pictures you can tell, the scrambled eggs were soooooo dry and overcooked, same with the eggs over hard. The burritos were just OK. We got tofu added to one and it was completely unseasoned and the vegetables in the other were chopped so big. This would not be my first choice for breakfast in this area although I haven't tried anything else yet. But now I know to be more discerning even if a place has 4 stars. read more

Solid four stars. We waited for about 5 minutes until we were greeted. Living in Houston texas we get spoiled with great food and great service. Food: bacon and eggs were good. Kind of average. The bacon was decent. The French toast was kind of a let down. French toast is supposed to be great lol. This one was okay. My son had a chilling sausage sandwich that he really enjoyed. He liked it a lot. So that was good. He also ordered a smoothie for 6.00. That should have been priced around 3.00. The service overall was really good. Our waitress I cannot recall her name made sure we were taken care of and got us everything we needed. I cannot remember her name but she had an accent. I would probably give them another shot. Solid four stars. read more

Sunshine Café - Grilled salmon, sautéed spinach, pico de gallo, brown rice, biscuit and pinion butter served on the side - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Silverthorne, Colorado

This place was packed when we go here so we were a little nervous as we were on a bit of a time crunch but they got us seated really fast. The entire time they were so fluid with getting people in and out. They weren't rushing anyone either they were just that smooth and proficient in helping their customers. I got the country fried steak and my hubby got the carnitas burrito. Both were delicious and were plenty of food. The chicken fried steak was juicy and actually had a piece of meat in it unlike some places that serve you a dry little paper thin piece of meat for this dish. It tasted amazing and wasn't too greasy either like some places serve it. My hubby's burrito was fantastic as well and again the meat was juicy and the burrito had a ton of flavor in it with all the ingredients. It all came out really fast as well so we weren't worried about our later appointment with how great the food service was. Our server was ok and seemed like he was new as he had to check on what we ordered a couple times. He was super nice but he just didn't seem to have the handle on things yet. We had to hunt him down by the time we wanted to pay as well and is part of the reason I took a star off. As well as the fact that he selected the tip when we were checking out on the handheld POS device they had which drives me nuts and he just hovered over my husband as he paid as if to make sure he was getting good enough tip. read more

Stopped by last minute and was nervous how packed this place was for brunch at 11 on a Friday. The wait time was quick 5-10mins but we sat at the bar and was served immediately. It was so fun to watch how quickly everyone was moving yet how smooth their service was. Food was coming out so quick and everyone was serving, from the host to the manager who had a quick chat with us. We ordered coffee which never was low, mimosas, corn beef hash with eggs, a short stack and steak and eggs. Everything came out at once and it was so delicious. The quality of the food definitely made it worth it and stands up to their many many awards on the wall. The overall atmosphere of this place is genuine, humble and they know what they're doing forsure. If you get the chance, stop by! You won't regret it! read more
