Food was perfect! Service was even better! Kevin is fantastic at his job. He is very charismatic, attentive, and great with social interactions. You can tell not only by interacting with our table but how he makes everyone feel comfortable at surrounding tables which sets a nice tone for the restaurant. He gave us great advice about hiking in the area. He was also extremely nice about letting us stay around the 90 minute table mark. That was a huge help since we were traveling and needed somewhere to get some things done. Food, I had the trout with SSU eggs and it was fantastic! We also had the chorizo Benedict with sides of corned beef hash and French toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and extremely tasteful. We sure will be back when in the area. I came here with high expectations since it's 4.5 stars, but as usual with small town eateries I don't think the locals actually know what a 4.5 star meal is no offense. The service was totally normal and fine so nothing wrong there. The food just left a bit to be desired. We got the cinnamon roll because it looked so good in the pictures but it was really just a grocery store level roll. The icing was separating as we were eating it. The French toast I got was meh pretty dry for a French toast but like generally acceptable. The sausage gravy with biscuits was good. I gotta say though the eggs for everyone were not good. Even in the pictures you can tell, the scrambled eggs were soooooo dry and overcooked, same with the eggs over hard. The burritos were just OK. We got tofu added to one and it was completely unseasoned and the vegetables in the other were chopped so big. This would not be my first choice for breakfast in this area although I haven't tried anything else yet. But now I know to be more discerning even if a place has 4 stars. read more

This place was packed when we go here so we were a little nervous as we were on a bit of a time crunch but they got us seated really fast. The entire time they were so fluid with getting people in and out. They weren't rushing anyone either they were just that smooth and proficient in helping their customers. I got the country fried steak and my hubby got the carnitas burrito. Both were delicious and were plenty of food. The chicken fried steak was juicy and actually had a piece of meat in it unlike some places that serve you a dry little paper thin piece of meat for this dish. It tasted amazing and wasn't too greasy either like some places serve it. My hubby's burrito was fantastic as well and again the meat was juicy and the burrito had a ton of flavor in it with all the ingredients. It all came out really fast as well so we weren't worried about our later appointment with how great the food service was. Our server was ok and seemed like he was new as he had to check on what we ordered a couple times. He was super nice but he just didn't seem to have the handle on things yet. We had to hunt him down by the time we wanted to pay as well and is part of the reason I took a star off. As well as the fact that he selected the tip when we were checking out on the handheld POS device they had which drives me nuts and he just hovered over my husband as he paid as if to make sure he was getting good enough tip. read more

It was so fun to watch how quickly everyone was moving yet how smooth their service was. Food was coming out so quick and everyone was serving, from the host to the manager who had a quick chat with us. We ordered coffee which never was low, mimosas, corn beef hash with eggs, a short stack and steak and eggs. Everything came out at once and it was so delicious. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating to us and our two little ones. They shared half a Belgian waffle and apple juice. I ordered the Country Breakfast which was pretty straightforward (two eggs, two meat, hash browns and choice of bread). A bit burnt (hash browns and sausages), but good enough to feed don't bites to the kids! My husband ordered the breakfast burrito which he enjoyed (just a lot of beans). The ambiance was really nice and spacious which was reassuring during these COVID days. We were pretty far apart from other customers.
