Stopped here for a lunch after a work meeting based off of the favorable Yelp reviews and glancing at the menu beforehand. Super beachy and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of windows that allow you to look out to the marina while you dine. When I was seated, it took a while for my waitress to come take my drink order. Probably close to 7-8 minutes which was unusual since there seemed to be quite a few service staff meandering around. That was slightly annoying. I have over a two hour drive home so was trying to grab a quick lunch. I knew what I wanted when she came by so I ordered my drinks and meals all at once. I ordered the fried grouper sandwich which comes with a side of slaw and ordered the famed sweet potato chips as well. I will say that after I asked for my waitress my meal came out super fast! I didn't care for the slaw but I am very picky about slaw. The grouper sandwich and sweet potato fries were delicious! I also had the key lime dessert. Yum! Overall, food was great. Service could have been better. Hopefully they were having an off day. read more

What a great dining experience! We had 4 adults and 2 kids. And everyone was happy which is hard to accomplish. My husband and I just ordered a bunch of appetizers to share. The fried oysters were our favorite. I enjoyed the poke tuna as well. The crab Mac n cheese was too salty the day we were there but I would bet it was just a fluke. Great drink menu too! Stopped by for lunch as I've driven past many times and was curious to try it. The ambiance was quiet. Well, I can say that I was there twice today- first and last! Food was very good and well prepared but was nothing to rave about, the service was mediocre at best, but the prices were outrageous! I'm a foodie and don't mind paying top dollar for a great meal. Dropping $400 for a dinner for two where it is warranted and worth it has never bothered me. But $35 for a small piece of tuna with some orzo and vegetables seems grossly overpriced. Definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

This is a great spot for enjoying a delicious meal with a view of the marina. The craft cocktails were some of the best I've had-especially the "Cool as a Cucumber"-if you like not too sweet, creative drinks. The sweet potato chips were a great snack to start things off. The veggie bight of the day was fried mushrooms, and we had to order another-they were that good. The tuna nacho appetizer was so fresh and tasty, and the lime curd dessert was over-the-top amazing! Went on a Sunday. Limited brunch menu. Ordered Sunset Pt salad with grilled chicken. Just okay, but bacon bits were cold and congealed with fat (yuck!) and chicken was ho-hum. This hidden gem is a MUST visit in Fairhope! Tucked right in Fly Creek Marina, Sunset Pointe is a quaint little Mobile Bay restaurant with great locally-sourced seafood and a spectacular view. I've made this place my go-to for a Valentine's Day sunset dinner two years in a row, with a few extra visits in between. My favorite appetizer is the Seared Tuna Nachos; they present every bit a good as they taste. Sunset Point also makes on e of the best bouillabaisse bowls I've every had: the EASTERN SHORE BOUILLABAISSE. If your in the mood for some fried fish, the fried Grouper Throat is to DIE for but you gotta get there when they have it...and before they sell out! While you're dining don't forget to try one of their custom cocktails. I've tried a few and they've all been good. Be there at sunset and let your kids ring the bell to signal sundown! read more

This is a really cute place in Fairhope. Nice atmosphere and location, and the food is good, too. My cocktail was a delicious start to the meal. They had lots of refreshing options. The shrimp special served with greens was very tasty. Others in my party enjoyed burgers, fish tacos, and salads. We also got the fried zucchini which was really nice. We decided to step out of Mobile on our trip and head over to Fairhope and wanted to eat somewhere on the water. The ladyfriend did a little Yelping and came across this place. We arrived around 1pm and were told there was a 20 minute wait if we wanted to eat outside. So we went to the bar for a drink while we waited for our table. There were tons of local beers from Fairhope and other parts of Bama. I went with a Yellowhammer Belgian White which is brewed in Huntsville. Solid beer. We were seated a little earlier than expected with a table that was closest to the water. The outdoor seating is more of a Key West marina feel than beach feel because it's in a marina....duh. Everyday Sunset Pointe has a veggie app of the day, a starch of the day and a veggie side of the day. We decided to go with the veggie app since it was fried green tomatoes that came with feta cheese, corn and a creole aioli. It was just ok to me. For an entrée, I got the BBQ Shrimp app. It was 15.00 and it came with 6 jumbo grilled shrimp in a peppery tomato sauce with an almost corn maque choux in it. It was very different from the NOLA version of this dish but still very good. (Note: Nola style BBQ shrimp is not BBQ sauce. It 's more of a garlic butter sauce that is to die for). It came with an ample amount of baked French bread for dipping. It was definitely big enough to share as an app or order as an entrée. The lady friend got a seared tuna salad with mixed greens, diced cucumbers, diced tomatoes, candied pecans, corn, feta, bacon and a citrus vinaigrette. Service was pretty good and it's really a great place to grab a bite to eat and take it slow. read more

We had the crab mac and cheese and the grilled grouper sandwich. The mac and cheese was $15 dollars and the sandwich was $19. Due to the size of the fish on my sandwich and the lack of flavor, I did not think it was worth 19 dollars. The grilled slaw had a good flavor and a nice crunch to it. The crab mac and cheese was really good. It was creamy and had a good amount of crab included. I would highly recommend trying it. read more

My family has an anniversary dinner here. They were very accommodating. We had a large group of 13. The food was great. The shrimp pasta was a very good size with garlic and a ton of shrimp in it. My mom has just moved to the area. So when I visit we are trying different restaurants I'm so glad we found this place. The staff was so friendly and our server was super nice he knew the menu and was able to Recommend something we both enjoyed. I had the grouper wrap and my mom had the fish and sweet potato chips. Cool vibes with nice ocean view. They are doing a full construction of the patio at 5pm so that was a little awkward. Waitress was sweet. Had the crab cakes , very good with tasty sauces under each one. The poke appetizer gave u a lot of tuna with some crackers , needed flavor , it was naked tuna. No avocado , no tasty sauce lacked acid. We didn't get an entree. Overall nice experience and would return to try dinner. Look forward to sitting on the patio once finished. read more

Warning, chances are that my tastes aren't "fancy" enough to sing the praises of this place, but I did try a number of dishes. Snapper throats... if I'm going to eat around this much bone, it better be ribs or wings. The grilled shrimp was ok, but the fried fish.... where to begin... take a sweet tasting fish, pair it with sweet potato chips and then make the tea a peach mango concoction that was overpowering. The fish was good, but not great, the chips were good, not memorable and that's the last time I'll ever drink flavored tea. The fried oysters were pretty good.
