Charcuterie.

This was a fun gal outing in Olde Daphne. The location is fabulous and the atmosphere was all 40-60ish drinking wine. The atmosphere is fun and service is solid. Our "tapas" were subpar. Gershwin's instead of olives. The meats were poor. Cheese was fine but the bread and Dollar General crackers were amazingly bad. Don't eat here but the vibe is really good.

I went with a friend to Le Bouchon after attending an afternoon concert. They have a great selection of wine. The waitress brought us a cucumber mint infused glass of water before taking our order. I had a glass of the Electra red moscato and my friend had a glass of Chardonnay. There is a menu of sandwiches and appetizers. I'll try one of these the next time. There was a musician when we arrived. Le Bouchon is an upscale venue to enjoy wine and small plates.

I went here recently and absolutely loved it. The wine they recommended was great, I loved the charcuterie board, the staff is amazing, and overall I loved the atmosphere. This is going to be a regular spot for me!

So, I'm kinda in love with this little place...and I don't really even drink wine that much. I came here with a good friend who is more of a wine connoisseur and she is head over heels in love with the place! This little wine bar is truly an asset to downtown Daphne. We walked in the door on the back of the building, which is where the parking lot is located, and grabbed a little table by the bar and admired the comfy seating over by the front door. The ambiance of the place is just so charming you're relaxed even before they bring out the wine. They have a copious selection of wines on the menu, as well as a few beers, which was nice. There was a wine on the menu called Duck Tape Chardonnay, which of course I had to sample because, hey, it's Duck Tape wine. I like that they will allow you a sample and you don't have to invest in a full glass of something you haven't tried. We both settled on a glass of sparkling wine. We perused the tapas menu and decided on a cheese board. Again, it didn't disappoint. The owners were warm and welcoming. Our server was exceptional. Even the (I assume) regulars at the bar were so pleasant and interacted with us. The entire experience was delightful. We can't wait to go back!

Give yourself a relaxing, cozy evening sipping on delicious wine with excellent, homemade Tapas dishes. I was lucky to enjoy this for the first time with my best friend Adele. I will be coming back. I'm a true fan and the wine choices are great. I recommend the flatbread and their special was homemade pork sliders. We were so surprised by the detail of flavor and presentation of the food. We felt spoiled and even got a warm, welcoming greeting from the owner. You won't be disappointed.

Buster's Brick Oven - Margherita

Buster's Brick Oven

Buster's Brick Oven is the pizza side of Manci's Antique Club which is run like a separate business…read morewhile it also physically connected to Manci's. The atmosphere at Buster's Brick Oven seems more upscale than the more dive bar ambiance of Manci's. They offer more than just pizza here but pizza seems to be the featured item. I sampled a Margherita pizza at Buster's Brick Oven and honestly it wasn't my favorite version of that particular pizza but it was alright. I also tried their Bison Burger which I ordered medium and it arrived with charred, burned and very crunchy meat on the outside but better on the inside with a side of charred and burned green beans... I will be sticking with the food on the Manci's Antique Club side! Ultimately the food on the Manci's side is far superior to me. The same folks that own Callaghan's Irish Social Club in Mobile have taken over Manci's and added the pizza addition of Buster's Brick Oven. Overall this is a great neighborhood spot which gives you the choice of the more "upscale" pizza side or the more classic dive bar side with different menus available in each. So far my experience with Buster's Brick Oven has convinced me to stick with the food at Manci's!

While the tables are limited and the bar area accomodates around 10 people, the server to customer ratio is pretty high which explains the great service and everyone helps everyone. We arrived at 530 and one table was ready and two more freed up as we sat. Watching the food prep area was like watching fluid motion in action in a small space. Each person had their job, handing off from one station to another, a very efficient use of a very little space. The food, well, all very tasty, full of flavors, flavors that complimented one another and many textures throughout each dish. We started with beer and wine and an Antipasto Board - 2 Meats & 2 Cheeses, Warm Olives, White Beans & Baguette slices. Wow great flavors also with a little red sweet peppers and a fennel slaw of sorts, wow this was out of the park awesome. Next, we had the 3 bruschetta with tomato and Boursin cheese and also 3 with spinach, artichoke pancetta. Last, we had the Red or White Roasted Red Pepper Sauce, Italian Sausage, Whole Milk Ricotta, Mozzarella, & Crumbled Feta Cheese. We had this last time, and it was awesome as well. This place is a must stop, whether you live here or just passing through. While we also like the one in mobile, this place is a little more quiet and intimate. Definitely, will return.

Service and food always excellent! We go frequently and always very hospitable and food on point.read more

This ginormous BLT was every bit as delicious as it was huge! The bacon was crisped to perfection, I didn't even feel too sorry for the pig, ok maybe a little but just wow! The flavors were over the top! It was served on house made sourdough bread, as if that wasn't enough... they fried the bread oh my goodness it was PERFECT! I also had a tasty iced coffee with brown sugar and pralines it was so good. I love how it wasn't overly sweet, I want a nice treat with caffeine not diabetes. It hit the spot. I appreciate that they have oat milk or almond in addition to cows milk. If I can't say enough nice things let me add that my server Brandy was very kind, attentive and if I were her boss I would be very happy because she's the kind of person you want to represent your business. The ambience and decor were also very nice, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say soothing. Even though it was an absolutely beautiful day I chose to sit my skinny derrière inside on the padded half booth because I had been outside all day riding and wanted to relax. The Barn at the Hope Farm is a lovely spot to grab a latté and a croissant or a little lunch. I recommend it for those of us who prefer gracious living and don't just eat to survive.
