I thought the latte was fantastic, it is a 35-40 minute wait. The oxtail with the gravy was absolutely delicious, the meat melts in your mouth, their home fires are spectacular. Sisters & Co Markham is a chic diner brunch spot with more premium pricing than your usual diner,…read morespecializing in benedicts and various brunch items with Asian flares to them. It's extremely popular (always full) but the tables move quite quickly, so yes - while you most likely need to stay in line if you come during the weekends, you don't have to wait for long if you're on a cute brunch date for two. A few pros and cons about this place: Cons: 1) ordered the bulgogi benedict, and to be fair, it was not very impressive. While the English muffins underneath were toasted to perfection - crispy and soft, I was not impressed by the bulgogi/benedict. The thing about hollandaise sauce is that it's powerful, rich and creamy. What goes well with it needs to add another dimension of powerful flavour profiles, which is why it's usually paired with smoked proteins (smoked salmon, peameal bacon, pulled pork etc). While I love Bulgogi, it's usually sweet, refreshing that goes well with flavour neutral side such as plain rice (or bread, fries). When I had my Bennies, I could barely taste any of the bulgogi and it was a disappointment to me (it just tasted like an egg on an English muffin). 2) the size is quite small for its price (CAD 22). If you think the two bennies as one sandwich, it'd be a small English muffin. That's very pricy. Pros: 1) the "spicy" home fries were extremely well done. The flavour profiles were well delivered, with caramelized onions and pepper pieces mixed in. I had a great time enjoying them. 2) I enjoyed the drip coffee quite a bit. It was very fresh and the beans they used had a nice balance of acidity and bitterness. Very satisfying. 3) the service was superb. I really really appreciated my servers (Gabriella and Alan). They were extremely efficient while being attentive and friendly. I gauge that the servers are the primary reason why the restaurant, tho being extremely popular, still has a steady speed to move the lines and customers. Extremely impressive comparing to all other diners I've been to when it comes to service. Because of the servers and the home fries, I'd give it a four stars while the food/pricing need some works. I may come back sometime soon to try other items on the menu.

We ordered eggs benedict with by far the best Hollandaise sauce you can get. The poached eggs were medium with lots of yolk to spread on the peameal bacon and english muffin. The shredded potato hashbrown is addictive and massive portions. The baked beans were nice and warm to compliment your breakfast. I ordered the 3 eggs over easy with 3 sausages and 3 bacon. They actually serve 4 eggs which I assume they are using medium sized eggs. That's OK as the extra makes up for the smaller eggs. You get a choice of toast ( white, whole wheat or rye) along with shredded potato hashbrowns or home fries. My mother-in-law ordered the Western Omelet with ham and onion. She really enjoyed the dish and she managed to eat almost half of the dish. The coffee is bottomless and the service is very friendly. I suggest dressing up for the cold weather because you might have to lineup outside the restaurant. I don't think they take reservations and it's first come first serve.

For drinks, we ordered a matcha latte and a tiramisu latte. The food and drinks are plated/ presented very beautifully, and is also delicious! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and the "owner" had the biggest smile. The menu was quite impressive with all the selections but definitely a bit pricer than other brunch places. I mean all brunch places are pretty expensive now... Portions were HUGE!! I got the hot tiramisu latte although iced was recommended. It came with the donut top and a finger lady. It was pretty delicious. Also got the strawberry smoothie which came in a plastic cup, so I guess it's more meant for kids. The wedges were a bit soft though.. I wish it was a bit more crispy. I would say it's more asian fusion than your typical western style brunch restaurants. I think it's worth trying if you're in the area.

When we arrived it was busy and there was one table open near the entrance and were told we could have that table once it had been cleared. There person who seats you also takes your order, brings your order to the table and clears the table. There was another person preparing drinks and we only saw him come out from behind the counter when there were no drink orders. It took a while for her to clear our table. At one point she stood behind the counter with a look on her face that could be best described as '...what do I do first..' What was ordered: Kale Caesar Salad - fresh croutons with generous bits of bacon; very lightly dressed Chicken and Waffles - 2 drumsticks and a breast served with 4 pieces of waffle and a small side salad Shrimp Eggs Benny - 2 deep fried shrimp patties; served with baby potatoes and a side salad The chicken was very crispy and still juicy but based on the colour of the fry the oil needs to be changed. It came with 2 small containers of syrup (not real maple syrup) and some that looked like plum sauce. The potatoes on the eggs Benny were good but when you deep fry the shrimp patty you wonder what other filler there might be in the patties. Service was decent despite the fact that there was one person who served and cleaned. An okay experience....not sure it warrants another return.
