Although the eggs were not cooked right it still tasted good, but it was missing that yoke goodness that you expect with eggs Benedict. Coffee was poor. Service was extremely slow with little to no other patrons in restaurant. Had to ask for everything including to order food. No refills on coffee. Sunset has gone downhill downhill. Whole experience took 1.5 hours. Not impressed. read more

Compared to any other Sunset Grill that I have visited, this one had the smallest portions and the lowest quality. Any other sunset restaurant, even around this area has been able to provide better food, bigger portions, and significantly better customer service. I ordered the exact same food that I order everywhere else and noticed a significant difference. The restaurant is also extremely slow and being the only one in the waiting line and lots of empty tables, I had to wait over 15 minutes to be seated. read more

This is a typical diner with a wide selection of the usual breakfast options - bacon, eggs, sausage, home fries, pancakes, etc. The food is on par with any other breakfast place I've been to. The service is fast and friendly. They have a great way of turning over tables. If there is a long wait at the door, you usually won't be waiting longer than 5 minutes or so. The thing that irritated me was the kitchen' s refusal to make a simple modification to the sandwich I wanted to order. I wanted to have the sunset sandwich which consists of bacon and and fried egg (over hard). I wanted the egg to be over easy because I like a runny yolk. The kitchen did not want to prepare it this way because they said it would make the toast soggy. Even though I said I was perfectly fine with soggy toast they still refused. These cooks need to get over themselves, it's not like this is a Michelin star restaurant with world class chefs who would be offended by a customer altering one of their creations. read more

How do you make home fries inedible? Ask the line cook at sunset grill. The coffee left a lingering taste of burnt Generic brand coffee grounds that even three pieces of gum couldn't mask. The fruit salad consisted of unripe honeydew and, maybe, two strawberries. The patio furniture is nice though. read more

Nothing but positive experience at this location. Have gone a few times now for breakfast dates with my little guy. The food is fine. It is well on Par for what I would expect from a dinner like this. Simple welcoming decor What stands out most is the service. The ladies who have served us on our various trips have always gone out there way to enhance our visit. With a 2 year old a meal can be trying and they pay largr attention to him making every effort to ensure he is enjoying himself as well. One incident I forgot my sons bottle. When I came back 30 min later. We were welcomed with a smile, greeted at the door and before we could say anything they brought us the forgotten bottle that they had so nicely washed for us. Terrible service. Felt rushed. The line cook was very rude and told us to order immediately after just being in the restaurant for 3 minutes because he wanted to close the kitchen. I would rather they had told me that they were closing when we entered than making us feel rushed. Maybe they are under new management but they need to really focus on customers service. We went to this location a while back and had great service but it's definitely not same and I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

Best breakfast In town. Fast and friendly service. I had the grilled chicken and eggs with a side of tomato. All was amazing. Even got to eat some of my bosses bacon which was cooked to perfection love this place and small hometown feel. The hot tea was great as well. read more

I stop coming here in April 2018 because the sat-cook even after I complained to Chinese lady "My eggs are over cooked I order over easy, and my potatoes are dark brown you burned them". Here it comes again, I saw the No Brain cook take from pile of Burnt potatoes and put it on my plate instead of making fresh fried potatoes(save food cost). Extremely poor service that doesn't match other locations in this chain. As soon as I said I had an allergy the server shut down. They do not carry gluten free toast like other locations do. Apparently, it's because "the freezer in the back is too far away from the kitchen". When asked if they would be able to make some sort of replacement for the toast AND home fries which, "have to go on the grill" she suggested cucumbers and carrots. She also said it would be impossible to make an omelette in a pan because it needs to be finished on the grill... Outside of my allergies, that she wasn't even interested in helping with, she also left our drinks on the counter to go and serve a regular with coffee, taking her order and placing that order. read more
