Welcome to Troy's Diner. Decades of Coke paraphernalia collected and displayed in once place. The place is more of a Coke Museum than a restaurant. OK... it's a diner. You know... greasy foods and don't expect too much out of it. That kinda diner! Where service is good with great convo and they hope it's good enough to pass rawhide with gravy as a hot beef sandwich. The fries and rings are good but the sando ... let's say it leaves a lot to be desired. The meat was a bit old and lucky it was smothered in gravy or it would have been inedible. Then again, I tackled a bit of it. Drank the bottomless soda and left. It's a friends fav place and I didn't want to rant about it then. BUT NOW.... bwahahhahaaaaa... I can. Delicious food and lovely service! Typical diner set up on the Main street. Breakfast for me is basically eggs Benedict no matter where I go and I am very particular about it and this place did not disappoint me. The loaded chicken sandwich was equally good. We came here for a charity event. The ambiance was really cool, so much amazing coca Cola merch all around! The servers were friendly and although it was crowded they tried to seat us asap and didn't make a face or fuss when we didn't want to sit in the original table they offered us (right by the speaker/dj). The food was...okay. We both got sandwiches and they were decent but the highlight was the milkshake. Although we have had better milkshakes in Milton....anyways a cool place to try once and maybe they have better menu items than what we ordered but probably won't come back in a hurry. read more

I wasn't expecting so much from this small neighborhood diner.And I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. This place is not as tiny as it looks from outside-decent amount of tables.And a very cozy feel to the place.So this place is all Coco Cola themed-all red and with tons of collectibles put up as decorations in the entire restaurant.We went on a Friday evening and it wasn't as busy as it would be during brunch so my daughter actually got a chance to walk around the restaurant to see the decorations/collection. So the food we ordered was pretty good, came out in timely manner and tasted great.My only complaint was that the corned-beef hash and potatoes entree had way too much potatoes and very little of the beef.The philly steak omelette was delish and had a generous amount of meat.My daughter absolutely loved their pancakes-they were fresh and fluffy.They are famous for their milkshakes but I didn't like it much I thought it wasn't sweet enough and there was way too much whipped cream and very little shake. The service given to us for friendly and quick.The place itself is very clean. My only concern is the parking we parked in front of the diner which barely has any parking and I'm not sure if they have any parking behind the restaurant something to check before going if you're going for a sat/sun brunch. Above expectations. Although visited during COVID and ate on the patio during unfortunate road construction overall experience was good. Inside, it's very much what you'd think of for a 50s diner feel which I like. The staff was good, service was pleasant. The killer app they got are the crazy milkshakes they have. We ordered a donut milkshake and just the normal milkshake part is pretty awesome. Ordered a veg skillet, above expectations. Had the pancakes which were good, standard diner type fluffy pancakes. Since my my parents wanted to go for a breakfast, I searched for a restaurant that none of us have gone before, through Yelp. Found reviews very helpful and decided to go to Milton. I had the Pancakes with strawberries,my mother had Belgium Waffle with strawberries and my father had Smoked Meat Benny. I had a Root Beer (free refills with meal) and my parents opted for coffee. As you are seated, you see coffee cups are already on the table (upside down). As I have seen from Yelp, this place is full of CoCa Cola Memorabilia. From the logo across the table in front of you, a bicycle hanging in the middle, a miniature motorcycle made out of Coke cans on the counter, ceiling light cover, both ends of black metal stands (showing types of shakes available) on the table are shaped like a Coke bottle and say Coca Cola. We all loved the atmosphere and food. The only complaint was that our forks were skewed. Please get here early because while we were having our drinks, the lineup was already forming with the regulars. Troy's Diner is an iconic Milton All-Day Breakfast restaurant with it's Coca-Cola themed interior that includes autographed photos and pictures of sports and local celebrities. They have the regular breakfast menu items you can expect (Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Eggs, pancakes, waffles, french toast) along with daily breakfast specials often themed for the season (pumpkin pancakes in October, candy pancakes during Easter, etc). There is an open kitchen where on weekend mornings you can typically see Troy himself in the kitchen preparing the food. The restaurant itself is fairly children friendly with both high-chairs and booster seats along with a value priced kids menu that comes with crayons and a coloring area to keep the munchkins busy while waiting for their food. The drinks from the kids menu are in child friendly themed plastic cups that have no-spill lids with straws built in to help avoid messy knock-over spills. Steak and Eggs is my own regular breakfast order, on weekend mornings the steaks are always cooked to perfection (I order mine medium rare). We are there often enough that they know my order already and usually don't even have to ask (I'm too predictable). Although the kids switch from the pancakes to the waffles depending on what the seasonal specials are while the wife usually goes with an omelette. Occasionally they request for a breakfast special that's not on the menu that day and the kitchen does depending on availability try to customize the order for them. The restaurant also does catering and they are a perennial favorite at local outside community events (they have trucks, trailors and tents so are able to quickly setup outside at events almost all year long for conventional hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries and other diner type lunch fare). Only thing to keep in mind is that on Saturday mornings they do tend to fill up quickly and depending on the time you might be waiting awhile for a table. We usually try to arrive fairly early and avoid the lineups. Their waffle desserts, milkshakes and sundaes are fairly popular but we usually try to avoid them (too much sugar for our kids, but we do sometimes order dessert as a special treat). Milton has some other excellent breakfast places. But really Troy's Diner is our hands down favorite place to go for breakfast in town. Only regret is wish it was a bit bigger so they could bring back the weekend breakfast buffet they used to have at their other location to this one. read more

Love the interior! The diner has a collection of vintage Coca Cola related items! I ordered All-you-can-eat Spaghetti although I knew I wasn't even going to order the second round. Maybe it was because I ordered AYCE item but the Spaghetti was not good at all. Been here a few times. Never really been impressed. The food is just ok. The decor is dated and an homage to the owner and his friends. They do a toy drive every year which I commend and think is great. Some of the participants use this as grandstanding and a way to make the community look to them as some kind of savior. Hello again Canadians. This is my review of this little diner that my family and I stopped by after Sunday mass. We walked in with a group of nine people and we were seated shortly thereafter. I have had a hankering for some fish and chips but I was immediately captivated by the meatloaf on the menu. I loved it. In the US there are a lot of diners that have so much stuff on their menus that they don't do anything right. This place however nailed it . The meatloaf was hearty and delicious the corn and mashed potatoes with gravy were real and delicious. Great place to grab breakfast, the astonishing amount of memorabilia alone makes it worth the visit. Since this location is much busier than the western one, there can often be line ups to get in. Food quality is top notch and the people who work here are great.
