Pecan pancakes

Want to go to Good Morning Cafe on other side of Millstadt. It was full and long waiting list. So decided go sunrise cafe. Very nice staff and no wait. I ordered this 2 eggs breakfast shown picture. It was good.

Got a very hearty greeting from the waitress as I went to meet with my friends already seated. Typical low key furnished table and chair breakfast place. Food offerings were pretty standard for eggs, pancakes bacon sausage. Omelets were 4 egg and so ample. Many choices for skillets and looked great. Hearty sized meals. No gluten free breads. One at our table ordered choice for peaches for his pancakes and Wawa's charged 3.25 for a sauce sized container! He didn't like the pancake. Something had to really be wrong with the pancake to motivate enjoy. Coffee was also 3.25 with refills but seemed pricey. Other prices were fair. Place was hopping with customers.

My dad found this place online so we decided to try it out. Talk about a good find! We were seated right away, our server was so genuinely nice! Food was good, a lot of it for not a lot of money. Those with budgets would find ordering one meal will actually last for two or three days! The cherry on top was our server saying we were her favorite table! We will absolutely be back!

Country fried steak, hash browns, eggs

This is a bustling diner in a quiet town. It might be a bit out of the way but it's worth a trip. The ambience is exactly what you would expect from a diner. I try to be consistent with breakfast orders when I try a new place - if country fried steak is on the menu it usually is my choice. I was delighted that I did - perfectly crisp breading and not even slightly greasy. The hash browns were the star - I always ask for extra crispy and usually have to settle for slightly browned and limp. These hash browns were CRISPY,GB&D! Eggs were also perfectly over easy as ordered. Our server was funny, helpful and very caring. Great breakfast, great place & great prices

It's a BREAKFAST place in Milstadt! Yaaaaay!!! Service was AWESOME and quick. Food was very tasty. The prices are reasonable. Just really wish they had breakfast cocktails TOO! I had the Slinger, and my husband went with the lunch special of Chili Mac. The Chili Mac was on spaghetti though, so shouldn't it have been Chili Spag? ANYWAY, same chili, two different, very good meals. For me, breakfast cocktails would knock this place up to 5 stars. Just sayin'.

Food is okay a little greasy for my taste. The wait staff is always polite. The interior is a mess it appears to be going under renovation.

Oh. My goodness. The food was so good I made a concentrated effort to make sure I let as many…read morepeople know as I can! I got it delivered while working long hours over the weekend and hadn't heard of it before - to my detriment, because WOW. My order: Biscuits with duckfat gravy and an overhard egg Extra biscuit with their house jam Seasonal lemon berry griddle cake Jalapeño rosemary fries I'll start with the last thing. I LOVE rosemary, and like the taste of jalapeño but jalapeños themselves don't agree with me. So they arrived without jalapeños as requested, and were very good. There wasn't much rosemary flavor, which was kind of a bummer, but I would get these again in a heartbeat. Well-cooked, not too soft but not too crispy, nice and fluffy inside. I love a good spiral-cut potato and these didn't disappoint in that regard. The lemon berry griddle cake was phenomenal. They're pretty big, so a single will do most people (I had quite a bit left over). The whipped lemon curd was AMAZING, and the berry compote drizzle was probably the best I've ever had from anywhere - which is saying something. I didn't get the berries themselves as berries don't tend to hold up well during deliveries, but I got some of the blackberries I grow in my own garden and slapped them on there. GOODNESS gracious. 1000/10. Now for the highlight, in my opinion - the biscuits and gravy. I have long thought that one can tell the skill of a chef and the quality of a restaurant by its most "basic" items, and if you were judging solely by the biscuits and gravy, you'd be doing the same thing I am and telling EVERYONE about it. The biscuits were dense and flavorful, not in any way dried out, very filling, and the light toasting done to the inside of each half was such a quality touch. The gravy is TO DIE FOR. Just the right amount of kick, and a little went a long way. I had more than enough with my order to save some for another day! MAN it's gonna be difficult not to order from here every day... This type of restaurant is exactly the kind of thing Belleville needs to hold onto. It's high quality food, with a high quality staff and a commitment to community and sustainability our town desperately needs more of. Not only that, but it's reasonably priced; normally you'd see places like this charging 60% more minimum for the food and it's almost never as good as this. I am SO intensely impressed. Very, very well done, Clara B's crew!

I really enjoy the food at Clara B's! I found it first when I used Door Dash once and I loved the…read morebrisket breakfast burrito that I ordered. A mix of chunks of lean and marbled brisket. The order was packaged with care and I decided I'd have to eat in person if it was so good via delivery. Clara B's is housed inside of LongStory coffee just outside downtown Belleville. I've been there for coffee a few times and like the atmosphere there. I've now been to have breakfast a few times. If you go there on a weekend, there is a line to order food by 9am and the tables fill up but food comes out in a reasonable timeframe and people clear out as more come in. You pick up a menu and wait in line and order at the register. Not much wait time. Employees are nice. The smaller menu is full of hearty comforts. I love that their choices for breakfast proteins include a fried chicken breast and brisket. Their bacon is thick and delicious, the kind that melts in your mouth. The biscuits are the southern homemade style that are thick and crumbly, not sweet. I've saved one once to make a perfect strawberry shortcake for two. The duck fat gravy is good, a little watery, but it absorbs well into the biscuits. The breakfast potato fries look amazing and one day I'll try the pancakes. I'm low carbing it right now and I like that I can go in and order eggs and a protein and grab an iced coffee and read. I highly recommend for anyone to stop in for a lovely breakfast/brunch and support this local gem.

Plus for a special treat swing by on a Sunday and enjoy one of the best cafe singers ever! We didn't catch her name but she was really good and we enjoyed our meal and coffee while listening to her sing. This is a very cute downtown coffee shop. It's in a small town and has that special small town vibe.

Upon entry, I was greeted by a very friendly barista, and I believe her name was Leticia (sorry if…read moreI'm wrong). She introduced herself, asked me my name and welcomed me. That was very impressive! I ordered a peppermint bark & oat milk iced latte and she started that while I continued to look over the menu. Music was playing oldies -- The Temptations, The Dells, etc., which was a chill vibe. I then ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy as I am always on the search for the best b's & g's. Latte was handed to me quickly at the counter and my food was brought to me within 2 mins of sitting down. The latte was quite sweet, I didn't taste much of the espresso, which isn't my preference. I really am kind of biased though as a former barista myself, ;) However, I know next time to remember to ask for less syrup, if I order again. The b's & g's are very fresh -- the biscuits were warm and tender; the gravy is more of a brown gravy and not your classic white gravy. It was thick, with chunks of sausage, flavorful, with herbs on top. It was not that salty which I noticed right away as I am very particular about that. I appreciated that a lot! I don't think I would order these again, solely based on liking white country gravy better. But very flavorful and for someone else, worth a try! And they were served in a Togo container which is cool, in case I wanted to take it with me. The cafe itself is immaculately clean & that included the beautifully wallpapered bathroom. The tables are all clean and they all have pretty little real mums in cups, I love that simple touch - so cozy. One walls is covered with photography pieces for sale and as I photographer, I love to see the support for us and our work! Definitely super cool. As a NYC native, this cafe felt more urban-esque, while sitting in downtown small town Belleville and really such an, "at home" type vibe -- really though, shout out to the barista who really stands out in treating you like family. They live up to their sign, inside, "Welcome to the family." That's valuable! Overall, I'm super impressed with the service and I'll definitely come back to try another drink and more food. Definitely worth it! I recommend, Justitia's! Thanks for having me. :)

To top it off they are always welcoming. It makes you feel like family!!!

I've been to this place a few different times. On special occasions like St. Patrick's day and on…read moreregular crazy Saturday mornings. We've met with friends here a few times. Everything is often very fresh. If you enjoy very sugary coffee then this place is for you. Hence the name, I'm sure. I've never had a coffee that wasn't overly sweet even when asking for little sweetness. All the food is very good. You can tell the bakery and the made to order food is deliciously made with love! The only thing about this place is the customer service is hit or miss. That's why one star is lost. The man that's working there is always very kind, helpful and welcoming. Most of the young girls that work there are also kind and helpful. But there's a worker there, when I see her I'm automatically nervous and want to make sure I have no extra questions or requests. It's an older lady (possibly an owner or manager). Every interaction with her is often unpleasant, and I'm always made to feel like such an inconvenience for being there. Not sure if it's just my face she doesn't like, or if I just happen to come in on her bad days. This place is cute and great for by yourself mornings or a small group coming together for brunch! It's got yummy food, seating inside and outside. Once your passed the ordering it's a great place to be! EDIT: After receiving the comment from the owner, I'm coming to edit the review. For clearly being verified in the way I was treated. To say "you would NEVER make anyone feel that way" is no longer true because you have made someone feel that way, myself and others in my groups. Ultimately, I did not drag the business and I even came back multiple times before writing the review. I'm sorry, I hurt someone's feelings by being so specific but it truly was the ONLY issue I had with this business. I was truly only trying to give my constructive feedback as an honest reviewer and customer. As a business owner I'm sure it's hard to receive feedback sometimes but, I wasn't looking for anything back, and I still always tipped. I simply was giving feedback so it can be acknowledged and be made better.
