Greenbush has quite a selection and we found out you can also place a specialty order within 24 hours of desired pickup. Longer business hours than most other bakeries / donut shops. Interior is spacious and inviting if you choose to sit down to enjoy your bakery goodies. They also have a small area set aside as a "gift shop". Staff is very friendly and helpful when trying to decide what you want from all the delicious choices. Highly recommend Greenbush Bakery!

There was a line when we arrived around 10:30am but there were just enough donuts left to create a yummy assortment half dozen. We picked out 6 different sour cream old fashioned cake donuts and they were each lovely cake donut perfection. From the original sour cream and blueberry to powdered... I was pleased. Had a pretty thick coating of glaze, but it needed it because the donut was so thick. Please see photo. The other doughnut was something called Butter Nutter or something and looked like a Butterfinger was smashed and put over the top of the donut. See photo. I worried that the super thick glazed donut was going to be raw because it was so enormous, but it was cooked well enough where it was fine. It's sort of a skin on it like a bagel. Tasted really good. The other doughnut was super super sweet like sugar on top of sugar. I wouldn't have normally ordered it, but they were out of everything else that I normally would order. Good but too sweet for me. Again it was fried crispy, which is how I liked donuts. The ambience is what you would expect in an old donut shop... comfortably worn... I'll be back when I need a doughnut in this area.. Bonus: They also had fresh unsweet tea, which is great!
