This is a great local diner! The pancakes are homemade and legitimately delicious, the Elvis pancake (with peanut butter) was a surprise. I may never eat them without peanut butter again. After reading reviews and checking out the menu, we decided to try this place out on a Tuesday, 11:15am. Easily located it and immediately greeted and shown to a booth by the front windows. Very clean on the inside with quiet background music. Not many customers but as it got closer to noon, more started filtering in. Savanna was our waitress and was very pleasant and efficient. She brought us the menus and water. We had already pretty much decided what we wanted but it was nice to see all the choices on the menus. We each got the Bacon Avocado Toast ($12.99). She got poached eggs and I got over easy. Both were perfect. The toast was a multi-grain bread and very good. One slice had grilled sliced tomatoes. The other slice had bacon. Both had a nice thick avocado spread. We also each had an Irish Coffee ($8) which was excellent. It was a very pleasant, unhurried experience. Savanna brought the check and we paid at the front entrance cashier. The two coffees and two entrees came to $45.54 with tax. Well worth it. This place has "ALL the things"! We had ordered take out from our hotel, in the past, and were very pleased with the food, but had not dined in. Beginning at the door, with a warm friendly smile and welcome (not the the forced, this is my job kind). Bright cheery and clean atmosphere, with outstanding service. Comfortable, casual, and welcoming, with an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, that seems to enjoy their work place. The menu has much to offer, as well. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portions! The beverage offerings alone, are fantastic. You can even get a "coffee flight". There are juices with turmeric, ginger, and beets, and other fresh options, for the health conscious. They even offer adult beverages with alcohol. Food offerings include the typical type options, and more! They put their own creative culinary twists on all the items, and are fantastic about substituting or accomodating dietary requirements. The food is fresh, exceptionally prepared, has visually pleasing presentation, and delivered promptly with a smile. From first bite to the last, it was an enjoyable experience with some of the best breakfast/brunch we have had, in a long time. My hubs ordered the pork chops, scrambled eggs and whole wheat toast. Pork chops were juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection (as were the other items)! I ordered the Fill Dill, crepe, subbed ham, and fresh fruit. It was phenomenaly tasty, and well done!!! Staff is very attentive and does not overwhelm, but is on task with making sure customers lack for nothing. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! It was our first time here, the wait wasn't terribly long, the food was INCREDIBLE, and the service was phenomenal! Ashlea was super sweet and personable. We told her it was our first time here and as we were packing up our Togo boxes, a gentleman (not sure if he was a manager/owner/chef) came to our table with a complementary Apple Delight dessert because we were first timers. First time here! The hostess is a sweet petite lady, very nice. Great place for breakfast. We enjoyed our coffee, definitely was coffee not colored water. Had potatoes, bacon, poached eggs with avocado and rye toast. They provided a taste of new fresh juiced tasters. Both kinds tried, tasted very good. It is good to know you can get fresh juice here. My turkey avocado benedict was quite good (just wish it had a bit more hollandaise sauce). Like others have stated the potatoes are just okay, not great. I wish I had gotten the hashbrowns like my husband did. They looked delicious. The service was great. We went on Easter Sunday and they gave our daughter an egg that had a slap bracelet in it. Today we tried the Sunrise Cafe out for brunch and what a pleasant surprise to find this gem in South Tulsa where brunch options are lacking. I had the Ultimate Bloody Mary with a requested Tajín rim and it was fantastic! My husband and mother both had one of their seasonal cocktails, the Leprechaun Kiss and they both enjoyed them. My husband ordered the daily omelet special which was the carnitas omelet with grits and banana pecan French toast. He ate every bite! What was great was they offered all of their omelets as breakfast bowls also so I had the same as a bowl with soft, scrambled eggs and they were cooked perfectly! I paired my bowl with cheese grits which were yummy! My mom had the Triple Bogey with scrambled eggs, bacon, and French toast which surprisingly came out with blueberries and she cleaned her plate. All of the portions were huge and I couldn't finish all of mine! The service was prompt and friendly! While we were there 2 tables beside us commented to the owner/manager about how great their service is also. We will definitely be back and we hope our next visit is as great as our first! read more
