This is a pretty location and a cosy breakfast nook that locals would love. It is a little difficult to locate initially but when you locate it, it is worth the effort. The mood is easy-going and not necessarily daunting. Service is usually fast and pleasant, but it may be inconsistent to some degree by the busyness of things. The food generally is solid, although not all visits are as memorable. I want to love this place. I've been here a few times, but the service is terrible. If it's busy, it's poor service. If it's slow, it's poor service. Wife and I came in, because we didn't want to drive to El Reno. Sat and waited to be given a menu and get a drink order. Say for 5 mins. The food was served cold, and service was rude. The oatmeal was not cooked correctly oats were still dry and when sent back they just added water and brought it back wet, sticky and still cold. This is in an old building in Kingfisher OK. We were seated immediately and the waitress was great. She was fast and attentive. There are lots of choices on what to eat. Breakfast items or lunch items. I chose a grilled pork chop, mashed potatoes, corn and wheat bread. The pork chop was kinda dry but tasted ok. The mashed potatoes didn't taste like "real" potatoes but like they were out of a box. The gravy on the potatoes was awesome so i ate all of them. The corn had weird colored kernels mixed in with it. Maybe I'm just not aware of multicolored corn that you eat. The bread was a highlight. Perfectly toasted and lots of butter. The prices were good but there was a sign on the door that said they were adding $1.50 to each meal because of the Covid 19. I thought that was interesting. At least we were warned. read more

We visited on 07/01/2015 as we were passing through town and wanted to check out a new to us place. We based our visit on the review dated 09/01/2014. The place was filthy, the floors were covered in food crumbs and bits of paper, and the area where the walls meet the floor looked as if they had old grease smeared on them. That inner voice said leave and I foolishly ignored it. We ordered our breakfast, I the hungry man and Tiffany the Spanish omelet. The eggs in the omelet were overcooked to the point of brown crust. My scrambled eggs looked to have been broken into a skillet, had a fork ran through them to bust up the yokes and then cook solid. They were kind enough to chop them up before putting them on the plate. And yes they were overcooked to the point of brown crispness as well. The sausage were the cheap precooked patties you get from the store, they had been tossed in a skillet long enough to melt the grease but were still cold on the inside. Frankly I was insulted that such garbage would be sat down in front of us. Tiffany picked at the omelet and I refused to eat mine. We paid and left, flatly refusing a to go box for my plate. This is a great small town, "hole-in-the-wall" breakfast joint. It is hard to find if you don't know exactly where it is. There is hardly ever a wait, although it is busy almost every time we go. The service is fast and friendly. Be sure to bring cash or a check though: they don't take plastic. read more

Driving through and saw their sign. Instinct said try it and boy am I glad we did. I had chicken fried chicken that was made fresh, plump juicy chicken and tasty crust. Mashed potatoes were very good too, but best was the biscuits and gravy. W Hot coffee, cold water, and attentive (and gorgeous) friendly servers. No wonder the place was full of contractors. I went in here about a week ago and was very disappointed, I sat there waiting for a server for 15 to 20 mins, before I got helped. Then I watched as everyone around me got there food and 5 or 6 pick up orders got takin care of before I finally asked about my food. They told me it would be up shortly. I waited for about 5 more mins and was getting ready to walk out and my food finally showed up. I have been here many times but I will not be back. Don't let the appearance of a greasy spoon steer you away. This is the best hole-in-the-wall breakfast joint ever! The menu is very cheap and their portion sizes are perfect. Sometimes it gets a little slower during their hectic hours because there's only two waitresses working but they do what they can. If you're driving through Kingfisher I would 100% recommend trying this place out for breakfast or lunch. read more

This place can get crowded! I eat here for breakfast at least once a year as I am going through town to Oklahoma City. They have outstanding omelets and their pancakes are more than filling. The service here has always been very 'down home' and friendly. It can get a bit slow at times when it's crowded but it's worth the wait for me every time. read more

Service is way to slow at lunch time. Not enough help. Food orders come out way to slow. People need to get back to work not take there whole lunch time waiting on food. Food is pretty darn good, but you have to do something about help. read more
